Hey, ewart,
Your plugin seems great, but I got the case of a client who is not eager of using M$ technologies, which is the reason I ask – have you tought of making the route editor and the rest of the stuff independent on Silverlight? If not, do you know a plugin, that might have similar features as yours (which is just great!), but does not depend ot this technology?
Thanks in advance!

]]>Hi everyone, just to let you know I have had quite a few sites helping me with suggesting improvements and finding bugs.
The latest version has a brand new engine with really nice pan and zoom, way better than when I was using google for mapping.
Fixed several bugs including a major bug thats been niggling me for ages, getting the distance of the route calculated accurately. Well, such things will never be perfect but I was getting reports of it sometimes being out by up to 10% depending on how far from the equator you were.. suffice to say you no longer have to live in the center of the earth to measure distance accurately ??
The plug-in is also now serving files from cloudfront and so hopefully serving from a server near you!
please do email me any feedback
cheers

]]>Completely upgraded the API and the mapper has had some improvements too. Thanks to beta testers in the UK, Netherlands and USA, it now also has a fluid layout!
Also, we made some improvements to the css to be more color neutral, so it looks much, much better on themes right out of the box.
We also added some new functionality that lets you quickly adjust some key styles instantly from within the plug-in, works a treat!
thanks to everyone who has provided feedback so far, we are already full time on the next upgrade.
cheers

]]>I find the plugin glitchy. It runs slowly and the run distances and calories are way off. I compared 3 jogging routes and 2 of my cycling routes with known distances and well documented calories burnt per session. All of the routes in this plugin were off by several KM’s. It’s a great idea, unfortunately the info is way off.(calories and distance) I will keep checking back.

PS: I also checked your maps back to Nike’s maps. Nike’s maps coincide with my routes/maps.
