Hi,
Great plugin, thanks… one problem:
I re-designed my website from scratch using a different theme and the plugin is working fine on all the posts and pages with the exception of the homepage.
If I use chrome’s inspector tool I can see that the old meta data from the original homepage is still there, although it’s picked a random new image.
None of the new information I’ve entered (new title, new description and a new, different image) into the plugin boxes is there.
I also can’t find any way of editing the code directly, otherwise I’d change it manually.
What can I do?

If I deactivate the plugin, does it remove the OG meta tags which had been generated before? If not, how should I remove them?
Hi,
Today I discovered Open Graph MetaBox is exposing the WordPress login username in the tags, even though the WordPress user “Display name publicly as” is set to something other than the username. For example in the tags, there is:
“@type”:”Person”,”name”:”<Name from WP setting Display Name publicly as>”,”url”:”https://<domain.name>/author/<username>/”
I do not wish to expose the author URL and I also have a plugin installed to disable author pages and urls. Please remove the URL from Open Graph MetaBox or provide a setting to remove it!!
Thanks,
Michael
Hi support,
I found that the meta open_graph_image no longer support woocommerce products.
cannot override the default one.
Hi,
We have your plugin installed and love it.
One issue however is that on the Home page we have the Revolution Slider and, even if we manually add the OG Title and OG description to the page, the OG description shows up in Facebook including the text in the 1st Rev Slider slide. We have re-scraped with no luck.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue? Thanks!!!
I’m using open graph meta box for this post. https://dpmyanmar.com/??????????????????????/
But it is not working properly.
Could you help me take a look?
og:url is printed as follows:

og:type is selected in admin settings but does not print any meta tag.
Hi! Thanks so much for the wonderful plugin. After trying out 5 other OG plugins, yours was the first that worked for my posts! Very useful.
I’ve run into one problem though that I could really use your help on: the plugin works well on all of the non-front page posts (ex: https://chicago.nomwell.co/erica-eckman-top-date-spots/), but I can’t get it to work well with the front page (https://chicago.nomwell.co/). I’ve even set the site OG defaults to the same title/desc/image I have for the front page. But the OG are coming in on the front page as:
‘’
‘’
‘’
If you’re able to help, I would much appreciate it!
Best,
Ryan

——————— EDIT ——————
never mind that. i was using image smaller than 200 pixels. everything works fine, great plugin!!
Use your plugin and all is well. However, it is not possible to define your own tags for the home page. Instead, picked up the tags from the record, reference to which is posted on the main page of my site. Somewhere in the code of the plugin can be tough to specify tags for the main page? website 36pix.ru
Hiya, I’ve tried using it and selecting a specific image per post. While the image does appear it is the 3rd out of 3 possible images the user can choose.
I tried the facebook debugger and it works! It just doesnt when the post is shared here.. Any ideas on how to fix this please?

Hi there,
I like your plugin a lot, it’s simple, clear and works well. The only thing I miss is a place to add my admins / app ID: Maybe this could be provided with the next update?
Best wishes,
Jonathan
