I want to eventually purchase the Pro version of the plugin but I cannot get the map to load. I’ve tried using a base theme with only Elementor and the Open Maps plugin active (I’m currently using Hello Elementor), but the map will not load on my site. The only error in the console is: “Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received.”

The markers on my map are not all loading / not loading correctly. I discovered that this is caused by WP Rocket, after deactivating that plugin.

I tried adding the code to the custom JS as mentioned in the documentation but this didn’t help.

Daniel, do you have suggestions on how to set the right settings to make the map properly work?

I’m working on a project where buildings are marked on a map, and I’d like to display a set of images for each marker, showing ‘then and now’ comparisons. Ideally, I’d love to include a gallery or image carousel that allows users to scroll through multiple photos for each marker.

Is there a way to add multiple images to a single marker in Open User Map? If not, could you recommend any plugins or custom code solutions that would help achieve this effect, such as a simple image slider or gallery within the marker’s info window?

– shows custom field meta data from the Memberpress sign up form eg. {mepr_organisation}
– creates a map showing location of users with data from same Memberpress address custom fields eg. {mepr-address-one}, {mepr-address-city} etc

Looking to accomplish exactly what open user map does for a national registry of CIA torture PSYOP victims. But before I go ahead and buy open user maps and begin hosting for it it would be great to know if it could support up to a possible 10,000 pins or if there is a set limit for performance. I guess it would be fine if there was limits and then just start a new map when it is full. But would be great to know ahead of time.

Also is there any type of captcha or alternative bot detection protection involved or possible to setup for user registered pins? This is going to be used as evidence against the CIA I can only assume they will be altering the registry to suit their narrative and anything I could do to circumvent that would be great.

The registry is for Targeted Individuals to gather up what kind of abuse they are experiencing and their locations to sort through and weed out those who are regular crazy and those who are regular crazy but also actually being targeted by the CIA for their apparently resurrected MKULTRA program.. I’m going to use this information to hopefully find out that they are semi grouped together and that mental health professionals have given the CIA lists of possible candidates for the program. Even if they are chosen at random I’m going to bring the details of who is being targeted for PSYOPs by the CIA as evidence to show the senate and get an investigation committee against National Resources the CIA’s domestic division for continuing MKULTRA against the mentally ill.

The story of why I am doing this is because I am a sane person who was never an intended target for this program but because of my run of bad luck was still thrown in to it anyways. I was mistakenly put under a narcotics investigation by my local law enforcement with CIA aiding surveillance and with no charges to bring against me instead of ending the surveillance operation covertly they decided to expose themselves and weaponize the 2 way communication ability of their DARPA surveillance equipment starting a targeting PSYOP against me. One of the PSYOP operators was a whistleblower and called me over the phone and gave me insider knowledge of who’s behind the PSYOP and it turns out it’s National Resources, the CIA’s domestic division. I’ve been exposed to a lot of details and able to ascertain even more of my targeting conspiracy and insane extra dimensional tech behind it and still no local, state, or federal agencies will take my evidence and act against the CIA.

A year into my PSYOP I figured I’d look into seeing if I could find anyone else being targeted like me to show I’m not alone or crazy and yikes there’s so many of them they have an online community and call themselves Targeted Individuals but there is the biggest problem with them; they are all crazy. Seeing them it was clear they were all specifically targeted because of their previous mental health diagnoses making it so that even if they did have insider knowledge of their PSYOPs anything they claim still couldn’t be admissible as credible evidence because they are certifiably delusional. And even further to make their lives impossible to save is that the CIA clearly has control of both the media’s narrative and the victim’s narrative both sealing their fates as delusional fanatics that should only be pitied and never seen as actual victims. I have seen no one else expressing the same viewpoint as me, as a sane person who has been thrown into this insane persons program, it’s very much apparent. So the CIA’s control of the narrative is quite effective. I am going to change this.

These people can not save themselves and it’s going to be hard to get the narratives to pivot to show them as victims who need to be rescued, and the authorities clearly are complicit with my targeting, so I need help to expose that this isn’t just an isolated event happening to me but it’s happening to 10,000+ others. If the authorities won’t intervene and act against the CIA the only other way to stop the CIA is to get the public concerned so the house and senate will need evidence to start an investigation committee.

I wish I was crazy and didn’t have to do this, but apparently exposure is part of the agenda and I am the one they have chosen to do this. I sure could use some help though lol

Is there a way to change the conditions of when a cluster number appears? We have a client who would like the cluster to occur once a minimum of 10 pins are close together, but to show individual pins below this. Is this possible? Thanks.

very often there are problems with text input in the adress search (button with fly out field): on mobile devices the keybord disappears and on desktop the input is impossible or stops after two characters. After refreshing the page everything works fine but it’s annoying. What could be the reason for this issue?

unfortunately it is impossible to search markers/locations in the marker search typing “oe” instead of “?”, e.g “Koeln” instead of “K?ln”. It would be nice if the this search could include the slug or permalink of the location title, because there are no umlauts. The Ajax Search on top of the page provides this option and it works fine.

I was checking my site health, because it responds slow (compared to almost identical site without OUM). Site Health that I have many autoloaded options.

So I looked into that and saw that OUM autoloads 83! options. That is almost a third of all my options.

Is this really necessary or can I switch this off?

I love your plugin and would like to make a suggestion for improvement.

I am displaying a list of all locations for people who do not wish to search on the map. But unless I am mistaken, there are no filters available to search or order them when in list ?

What would be just perfect would be the possibility :
– to search through free text,
– choosing among regions,
– choosing between categories

I have many locations on the map (more than 600, and list still growing) so a full list with no way at all to filter and search is not convenient at all.

Did I miss some already existing option ? Or could you implement filters, or tell me how to ??

I’ve had 9 locations displaying correctly since launching the plugin. But just now went to add a new location, and it is not showing up on the map. The regional marker over Arizona should be displaying “3” instead of “2”, and clicking on it should display a third location in northern Tucson.
I’ve checked for conflicts, purged cache and even paused Clouflare, but nothing helps. I’m also checking on multiple browsers. (it shows up on the browser where I’m logged in to WP, but not on any other browser.) What am I doing wrong?

Hi Daniel,
I have selected the option “Public pages for locations” under Advanced settings. By default, all locations have their own page. Is it possible for only selected locations to have a public page that can be accessed via “more” in the location bubble? All other locations should have the information in the location bubble but no “more” button.

I have locations in one and locations in two language versions, e.g. “Künker – in Wien” (DE) and “Künker – in Vienna” (EN). Is it possible to display only one language version of a location in the marker search list instead both of them?

i’ve added the hook ‘Customize location bubble image (eg. to add a lightbox)’ to the site’s funcions.php, but can’t get it to work..

I enabled the option to add map on WP user reg form. I see it but when user selects a location and registers, I don’t see any entry of that location on backend. So what is the purpose of this workflow? Maybe I misunderstood, but I was hoping this would quickly add the location on backend (draft or published) so that later the registered user can edit and fill other details from the + Add location button on the map. Kindly advise.

Thanks for adding the Edit Marker functionality.

If one exports existing marker to csv, the user_id field is missing (it should show whatever is shown under Author column in location). And when we import a new entry and fill the user_id (valid WP user), the entry is imported but in location info, the Author is showing up as admin as opposed to the user_id (WP user). This import/export fix is necessary / critical if I want to bulk import locations and associate each location to user_id / Author (WP user) so that when that user logs in with the corresponding user_id, he can edit his location.

By the way, I have sent recently email to support ([email protected]) with no response since last month. Is this the correct email? Kindly let me know and if correct please reply to at least some emails.

I have enabled comments, added them to the template for individual location pages, however they are not showing up on the live page. The comments field is showing in the backend, but not visible to visitors.

I’ve been through discussion settings etc, and enabled on open user map settings.

I’ve imported a lot of locations by csv-file. The subtitle field is automatically filled in with the address information. I would like to delete this information so that the standard text “Link to Goggle Maps” appears in the location frontend instead of the address. Is there a way to do this automatically? Editing hundreds of entries by hand is very tedious. Please see here:
