Hello, on my client website, the logo is getting optimised and therefore garbled.
I have added the filename to exclusions which works on desktop, but for some reason the exclusion is being ignored on mobile safari/chrome. It is 100% the plugin as disabling it solves the issue, but i want the optimisation for everything else. please advise

Hi, I have installed Optimole with the main reason being to remotely host images as my space at my ISP is rapidly running out. I have been using the following plugins to help maintain images; WP-Optimise (image compression), Thumbpress (trying to keep control of various thumbnail size creation), Media Library Folders (help organise images per category). Install has gone great, more room now available on the server, and everything is working as expected, images seem to be being pulled externally. However I still have over 800 images in my Media folder (not sure how many I had before to be honest but I’m guessing more as I have much more space on the server now). Why are these images still there? It seems Optimole has found the images in the folders created by Media Library Folders. Also, do I still need to have these other plugins enabled or are they now redundant?
Hi,
I used Optimole where all my images where stored.
Now all my images are gone. Tried moving them all to my page, but they never recovered.
Help!
There are couple of images from various products which are not shoewing on the front end site.
I have all the images on my website backend as well as on the optimole server.
Can you please check and fixed the issue?
Thanks
Hi, as I indicated in the title, I currently have 44,000 images in my Optimole library.
Due to a technical problem I had to delete all the images from my WordPress media library and I have to re-sync with optimole, so I would like to leave optimole empty (0 images) to start over.
I don’t see a way to delete those 44,000 images, I only have the option to do it one by one and, obviously, that is impossible with so many images.
How can I do it? Thanks
hello
i have been using optimole but gtmetrix says to Serve scaled images. i am getting the following message and do not what to do about it. I was under the impression that optimole will be doing just this???
The following images are resized in HTML or CSS. Serving scaled images could save 242.9KiB (87% reduction).

Hi, I have a free plan, and the service says I am over quota. The problem is that when I check the number of unique IP adresses on my provider’x dashboard, it doesn’t match the number of visitors shown on Optimole’s dashboard… by far!
It looks like there is something wrong in the way the number of visitors is counted for my site.

Hello,
I just installed Optimole on my WordPress. I have a message in the tab “Problem issues”: “It seems your are using W3 Total Cache. If you are using the CSS or JavaScript minify/combine option from W3 Total Cache -> Performance -> Minify page add this line: https://mlujvrffmpvv.i.optimole.com/* to Include external files/libraries and check Use regular expressions for file matching checkbox.”
I have done so. However, the message is still there. Is it normal? Also, I’m working on a sub-domain at the moment, in http (not https) until my site is ready, then I’ll transfer it to my main domain (in https). Therefore, should the line be https://mlujvrffmpvv.i.optimole.com/* (without the “s”)? I also tried both (http and https), but the message is still showing : “It seems your are using W3 Total Cache. If you are using the CSS or JavaScript minify/combine option from W3 Total Cache -> Performance -> Minify page add this line: https://mlujvrffmpvv.i.optimole.com/* to Include external files/libraries and check Use regular expressions for file matching checkbox.”
Please let me know if I should use http or https, and please let me know if it is normal that the message is still showing?
I look forward to receiving your answer.
Kind regards,
Laurent
Suddenly a lot of images are lost in frontend and also in the media library. It′s a bug?
Hi, on the front end I can seen the images on the website, they still use the optimole URL, though are now a little blurry.
I had them in the cloud only. I tried to sync them back into the media library. Now the image thumbnails are broken, the URL for the image points back to the wordpress filename in the media info, but it says the image does not exist in the library.
I need the images to SYNC back into my websites media library.
Hello, since I’ve linked my new domain a lot of images disapeared from my media library but the URL is still the one from optimole (ex ; https://mlqwu9wdycqv.i.optimole.com/cb:9ZHs.2bec7/w:400/h:250/q:mauto/rt:fill/g:ce/https://latortuescrap.fr/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/demo_ldpg_hdr_eu_fr_0624_bundle_sale.webp ) but the file is blank.
It’s mainly blog posts, I have tried many things but I don’t know what to do know since I can’t access to the old website to download back the files.
Do you have an idea to solve this ? thanks
I have read through all the documentation on removing plugin data and it’s not working. Even after changing images manually, I can still see lazy loading and URLs being served from Optimole. My site is with Elementor. I don’t know what else to do to completely remove this from my site. Really not cool.
Hi,
https://www.hatsfromoz.com.au/sculptured-fuchsia-lime-racing-fascinator-by-fillies-collection/
I am getting terrible LCP and trying to fix it. When investigating, I can see that main image loads up 3 times (actually any product image does). Each load is for a different image size and each load takes 1-2s (throttling connection to “slow 4G” as per Litespeed tests).
In addition, only one of the images is pre-loaded. images do have “fetchpriority=high” on them, but this is only complementing the preload. Really, they should be used together. preload allows for resource to be loaded early, while fetch priority allows it to be prioritised over other elements.
Is there anything can be done to improve the LCP and only load images that are required? (I am aware of some JS delays and working on it too).
Is there a way to disable re-sizing of the images while keeping the rest (CDN, lazyload, format upgrade)?

You have reached the maximum dump limit of 50000 images. Contact our support to increase the dump limit and for more information.
Thats very strange, because not all images where on your server. And, my only website have not 50000 images!!
Also i have the message response status code 400, and I see that many images have not been reduced in size and are therefore still large. My website is also not faster than before.
So, can you help?
I’ve just been told by someone from Optimole that apparently if we delete an image from the Media Gallery, it won’t automatically be deleted from Optimole?? Can I check that, that is indeed true please?
If so, that’s crazy, given that we have thousands of images across a number of different sites! Checking images one by one, then trying to find it on Optimole, then having to remove them manually will be a nightmare!
Please can you confirm?
Our team has reported the following error is being display in the media library. We assume it must be a conflict between either CDN. webp conversion, Smush optimisation or cloudflare but have been unanle to locate origin.
This image looks to be too large and would affect your site speed, we recommend you to install Optimole to optimize your images.

I have a page on my site where my logged-in users can download high quality images needed for various purposes. On this page, I have a small thumbnail of the larger images along with some buttons that will directly download the higher quality image on-click of the button. These buttons are created using shortcode. The entire point of the image download feature is to have a very high image quality that can be used on media other than online (posters, apparel, vehicle wraps, etc.), so having those downloaded images at the highest resolution possible (and hence, very large file sizes) is important.
I noticed that, after awhile, on-click of the button, my images would no longer download, but simply “open in the same window”. This isn’t the behavior I want. After some research, I realized that the on-click behavior of the button is now opening a file that has been optimized by Optimole, with a completely new link that isn’t what I have the button-click linking to. As I’m unsure if it’s the Image Handling or Lazy Load feature of Optimole that is casuing this, when I simply disable both in the settings, the direct-download behavior of the buttons returns to normal.
When I re-enable both in Optimole, the undesired behavior returns, but not until sometime later, almost as if it takes some time for Optimole to do a “sweep” of all the images on my site.
I would prefer to keep the benefits of using Optimole and simply turn off the image handling for the single “Download” page that is causing this issue.
I’m unable to provide a link to the page as it is only accessed by logged-in users, however I have some screenshots of what I am referring to.
Above is a screenshot of the URL that is being requested when Optimole is enabled. When clicking on the button the arrow is pointing to, the image simply opens in the same window, without actually downloading.
Above is a screenshot of the correct URL when Optimole is disabled for the site. The image directly downloads properly when clicking the button the arrow is pointing to.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
Started using Optimole, everything looked good few days until I noticed that in mobile devices product pictures have all of a sudden awful quality and also in desktop devices when you go to single product page and scroll down to see other products recommendations, then these photos are also ruined. Hi
website https://www.hatsfromoz.com.au
I have an LCP problem and I want to pre-load LCP image to speed things up. So, I added code to pre-load the image by injecting “
into the site header.
Now, Optimole processes the page and substitutes local image URL with Optimole CDN one. The problem is that it converts my preload URL and actual image URL into different URLs!!! (Image in question is a background image added via CSS)

As you see from above, URLs are different, so preload does not work. I think, difference in URL is due to the image size. Can someone suggest how to properly preload this image while keeping Optimole CDN and lazyload features?
Perhaps I’m not understanding what the correct inputs for this setting should be, but so far, it doesn’t seem to have an effect on my images regardless of settings. My key issue is that various images in my post archive have different aspect ratios. I’d like to make them graphically consistent without manually editing each image. This seems to be one those mysterious aspects of WordPress that is not addressed by any code or plugin that I’ve tried. I just want to set the aspect ratio to something like 16:9, 3:2, 5:4, etc. and make that the standard for featured images. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to do that, then let Optimole handle re-sizing on-the-fly.

hi
my images dissapeard (even from my library)
and my quota seems to be bugged (it says that I’m at 21k/21k visitors this month …)
This is my fault. I apologise.
I have just moved my complete site: https://ldcmindset.com to https://solobusinessind.com
Unfortunately, I had forgotten to sort out the images first. So they exist in my Optimole account but not in my new media account in WordPress.
The old domain will remain as a re-direct to the new account for a month or so and then I will delete the old. Is there a way that I can transfer my Optimole account to my new domain and recover the images there?
