The plugin doesn’t seem to resize the image on 4.6.1 version. Any help would be appreciated.
We’ve used this plugin on several sites now, and on a few of them we’ve had major slowdown issues on the site, and deactivating this plugin was the only fix.
I can’t say what the sites had in common, but they all ended up taking about 7 seconds to load a page. Deactivating the plugin instantly solved it.
Until this is fixed we cannot use this otherwise fantastic plugin any more. Do you have any ideas?

Hi, we have up to 25 copies of our images being created since installing this plugin. Is that right that it creates so many?
We have a pretty big magazine website and are now having to upgrade the hosting to add more storage space.
If I uninstall this plugin will all the duplicates be removed too?
thanks

I was using this plugin and it worked beautifully but in the past month or two I have issues. When I go into the media library gallery (list mode works file) it loops endlessly. I can see on my VPS that optipng is running constantly but even when it stops the images don’t show up.
I have a test site up that you are welcome to access to help debug the issue if you want. Just use the contact form on my main site (htpcguides.com) and I’ll grant you access.
Would really like to resolve this because the thumbnails for my related posts have been hard cropped instead of soft cropped since this issue arose.

Love this slider. Best in class.
One issue: When I configure the Thumbslist/Tabs feature, and select Tabs, all I see are white boxes — but no thumbnail images displayed. Looking at the underlying html source code, I see that there is no reference to any images at all for the thumbnails, just an empty
container.
Shouldn’t the thumbnail images show up in the tabs? Am I missing something?
Thank you.

Hello,
If I set two image sizes, say…
logo_small : 350×350
logo_large : 450×450
…then upload an image that is 400px. Calling logo_small returns the 350×350 image as expected – but the logo_large also returns the 350×350 image, whereas I would have expected it to return instead the ‘full’ size of 400×400 since it was the largest available size.
Is this something that could/should be updated?
Thanks much!
Philip

Hello,
If I have the Large image size set to 500×500 and upload a 100×100 photo and use…
$large_img_src = wp_get_attachment_image_src( $image['ID'], 'large');
…I then get a very blurry 500×500 version of the 100×100 image. I turned the plugin off and rebuilt the images and tried again, this time getting the 100×100 image not scaled up.
Is this a bug? Anything that can be done to stop it scaling up? I’d prefer just to get the largest size it has like WP does normally.
Thanks!

Hello,
I’m testing “the plugin that I’ve been waiting for so long” on a locale website, but at this time, all I have is that nothing has changed: wp still generates thumbs for every picture in every size…
(All I do is uploading pics to the media library)
After having uploaded, I removed the generated pictures, and went to the media library; then it generates the images at the sizes requested by the media library (and only those ones). Which is cool, since it’s doing its job, but only in backend, and only after having removed the generated pictures. When I go to the frontend, urls are generated but no pics.
Any idea?
(I’m using wp_get_attachment_image_src)
Thanks for the awesome plugin ??
Note that the images do not get regenerated if you change the crop setting. Easy enough workaround to change the size as well, then change back, but would be nice if didn’t have to take that extra step.

Hi.
I once used thumnail regenerator, but it leaves old size pictures and markup text included in posts.
Does OTF Regenerate modify all file names like apple500x300.png to apple1000x600.png?
it worked but not as I expected. It just made clones from old size. the new size I set up was not excuted.
And I removed all add_image_size functions from nirvana theme because it generate 7 thumnails and takes much more space than necessary.

I posted a bug on Github but just adding this here too in case you missed it.
If I upload say a 100×100 image, and my theme is saying to use the “large” size, which in the Media settings is set to 500×500 then the returned image is the thumbnail cropped and scaled really badly to the size.
I believe WordPress default behaviour is to just server up the largest file? That would be preferable, or even the image scaled up but NOT the thumbnail scaled.

Installed it on a local installation of WordPress and changed the settings for the media for previously uploaded images, but nothing changes on the frontend. When I go to the post and click on thumb’s edit button, I can see that the image is resized, but it’s not updated in the post itself. At least after I close the edit image popup and save the post again.
