Can’t find where to customize the mapped subdomain name for the chosen page. I presume the default setting is:
- Original: example.com/abc
- Alias: abc.example.com
But it does not work for me. I cannot access the page via alias. Neither the original page url is redirected to alias.
Might be due to Nginx configuration. Is it?

I have installed your plugin and activated, and add the test page as subdomain but its shows me the critical error as screenshot attached. I also activated the wildcard subdomain as you can confirm to add any dummy subdomain URL it will redirect you on the homepage URL this means that wildcard subdomain is working fine.

In the plugin, I’ve selected the page and clicked save. The ‘View Page’ link goes to example.com/tickets. When I manually go to tickets.example.com there’s nothing there.

]]>Hello, I am using your plugin. It’s a great plugin. But there is a problem, let’s say I made the help page look like a subdomain (help.example.com). When the user submits a photo using the help form here, the following problem occurs and the photo cannot be uploaded.
Here is the problem: The server cannot process the image. This can happen if the server is busy or does not have enough resources to complete the task. Uploading a smaller image might help. the recommended maximum size is 2560 pixels.
I copied the wp-content file to the subdomain folder, it still didn’t work, the same problem occurs even when sending small size photos. I increased the photo upload size but it still didn’t work, I’m facing the same problem.
How can I fix this? I will be glad if you help.

I found an issue that causes the URL-field to disappear when editing a page, meaning that you can’t change the permalink/slug.
How to replicate:
- Set up a plain WP installation
- Go to a page and see that you can change the permalink in the “Page”-section in the sidebar by changing the field “URL”.
- Install this plugin and activate it.
- Go back to the page and see that the URL-field has disappeared.
I also found the fix. In the file “inc/init.php”, line number 59-60 should be replaced with:
if(is_admin()) return $link;
The current code causes the filter “page_link” to return null when in WP Admin-context. If this is intentionally then you find a different way to solve what you’re trying to achieve as this interferes with WP.

]]>This plugin is breaking the WPBakery Front end Editor. When trying to edit a page with WP Bakery, we just see the WPBakery logo but no errors in console or when debug mode is turned off.
If I turn off the Page As Subdomain Lite plugin, the editor loads as expected and I see my page and can edit using WPBakery front end.
on WordPress 6.0 using Salient Theme (child theme). All plugins up to date.
Let me know if you need some staging credentials to test and see it in action.

Hello, I did the steps inside the cpanel I created a subdomain * .mydomaind.com, I also saw in the records “Zone File Record” and it was already created for * .mydomaind.com, I also went to SSL certificate and if it is installed for the subdomain However I get a 404 error, what could be causing this?

I have set up the wildcard subdomain in cpanel.
I installed and activated your plugin, and have selected the page I want converted to a subdomain.
Visiting https://nashville.thehayesco.com/ apparently sends my browser in a redirect circle – error “Page redirected too many times” or “page isn’t redirecting properly” depending on browser being used.
When I remove the wildcard certificate in cpanel, the page/subdomain will load, but it presents a security warning.
Am I missing a step here? Why would the secure version cause redirect errors, but the insecure version not?

In other words the pages are virtual through DNS only. My question is do I have to create an actual page if the page is a translated version of the main/home page or more exactly a page with any content because I want it to be a copy of or translated version of my website? We were already using the “Free” Page as Subdomain” successfully.
It worked so well I decided to buy the Pro so support you.
After uploading the Pro Version and I copied and pasted in the activation code from my purchase license and nothing happened.
No confirmation message at all.
I checked my license to be certain the key was correct.
All I get is the message: Please enter Valid Order ID and Domain to enable Page Subdomain Pro Plugin Complete the setup now
I re-entered the code a couple of times with no change. Why would the Free version work, but the Pro version will not? I will re-install the free version until I hear from you.

prova.mycibus.it uses an invalid security certificate.
The certificate is valid only for the following names: Istruzione.sardegna.it, https://www.istruzione.sardegna.it
