Hi there I noticed the jquery selector you have for this variable:
var galleryCount = $( "[id^=gallery-]" )
its picking up captions which also start with their ID’s in the same way.
Maybe make it :
var galleryCount = $( "div[id^=gallery-]" )
…since if you’re using html5 galleries the captions are now figcaption elements

I like this plugin, except that there are two distinct problems on WordPress 4.2.2.

One is, on the first two “pages” there are “first” and “last” buttons that appear after every image on the page. In addition, these buttons don’t work – they don’t advance the image sequence, but just briefly create the transition effect. Perhaps they are appearing because I have just one column of full-size images in my gallery? But even so, they shouldn’t appear.

Secondly, clicking the real “first”, numbered or “last” buttons at the foot of the page do take you to the next sequence of images, but annoyingly, they don’t take you to the top of the next “page”, so you have to scroll up every time you advance the image sequence, which soon becomes tedious.

These bugs are a shame, because otherwise it appears a handy plugin.

I noticed “Thumbnails Per Page” in the settings…

Is it possible to use the default number on most of the pages, but to use a custom number of thumbnails on another page?

For example: I’ve set the amount on 20. That’s okay for most of the pages.
But on one particulary page I want to have 30 thumbnails per page.
Can we do that?

Hi, I got so exited when I found this plugin. Very simple, however when I have Caption (some longer and some shorter) I have blank spaces in the gallery. I tried fixing it with css but could not do it, it looks like; if I don’t have a long description in the last row the first thumbnail in the next row floats up to the shortest description and leave blank thumbnail spaces. Not sure how to fix this?

first: thanks for this great plugin! It works great.

But there is one big problem: if there are many pics on page, it loads very slow. Would it be possible to load the pics AFTER clicking on a new page? So only the pics of the specific page would be load.

And is it possible to run the plugin without jquery/javascipt? So every page would be load separately.

I’m trying to make an image gallery which uses your paginated effects gallery to split the images into pages, but also want it so when the users click on the any of the images on the gallery, they go to a post that’s linked to the image (instead of enlarging the image). For the click to a page/post I’m using WP Gallery Custom Links.

But when I incorporated both plugins to the gallery the pagination numbers come out but the format of the gallery breaks apart. Instead of a grid for example, 4×4 or 3×5, there are some rows that lack 1, 2 or 3 images.

Is there a way to fix this?

I’ve installed the plugin, activated it and added the shortcode to the page that holds my gallery. I’ve also updated the settings to show 8 images and up to 8 pages along with the type of transition I want. When I publish the page no pagination appears. Am I doing something wrong?

The [peg] addition to a gallery on a page – affects all other galleries placed on the same page. However the other galleries are not paginated – just messed up.Is there a workaround for this?
