I am getting this error since the new contact form 7 update.

I get the following error message when I try to submit the CF7 form:
An error occurred while processing a PDF file.: stream_socket_client(): SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL Error messages:
error:0A000438:SSL routines::tlsv1 alert internal error
stream_socket_client(): Failed to enable crypto
stream_socket_client(): Unable to connect to ssl://pdf.ninja:443 (Unknown error)

And on the backend when i click on ?Retrieve new key”, I get the following error:

I have created a form for a client and updated it to Enterprise Extension 2. When I was testing it and uploading files, everything was fine. However, when the client uploads a simple image using an iPhone 11 (resolution: 3024×4032), it gets rotated 90 degrees to the left. The same issue occurred with another image upload from the client’s phone rather than a direct camera upload.

I assumed it was the width and height I set, so I corrected them to match the ratio of the resolution above, but it didn’t help.

This behavior is inconsistent, as many photos upload normally, so I can’t just rotate all images 90 degrees to the right. I read somewhere that sometimes EXIF data is read incorrectly before mapping. I’m not entirely sure what that is. Since this is going to a production environment, Help would be much appreciated.

missing form fields, some fields didn’t get mapped

Hi,

After completing the form, the letters with accents are missing in the words that contain them within the fields of the created pdf file.

In flamingo or email notification they are stored perfectly, and even if I use the original and fillable PDF file, I can insert the accented letters without problems.

Can you help me understand what the problem is and a possible solution.

Hi, My site is German/English with the main Language being German, PDF Forms Filler works well on the German page. On the englisch translation the form gets submitted, and a success message is displayed, however the Email received has the PDF attached but not filled!
Note this happens only on the translated page.

Is this a known issue?

In this website we had 2 languages (English and chinese),
I do test as below:

I was using the plugin to map module fields with PDF ones, all was going well and was working. Suddenly, plugin started to not delete mapped fields anymore, when I click on Delete just nothing happens

We bought a PDF ninja api key. It worked on our other form. But a new form we have created, there is still a watermark. Does it work only in one form? Any suggestions on how to fix this?

The pdf file for a form has been updated with a couple more fields. I need to upload the new file and and add the fields but I do not want to lose all of the fields already mapped. What is the process?

We’ve been able to print the time at which our form loads onto our PDFs (by pulling the current_date), but we need to be able to print the time at which the “send”/submit button was clicked onto them as well.

Is there any way to do this? Including the [_time] field in the email sent on submit provides the submit time correctly, but we’re having trouble figuring out how to print that value onto our PDFs.

I have been unable to figure out how to use this on a dropdown field. If someone could provide me with an example that would be greatly appreciated.

I have a page that helps our customers with filling out a PDF. I ask if the customer has a PO box. If they select no they can just continue filling out the form. If they select yes then they can enter their address details which are mapped to a section on the PDF.

The problem is that if they select no the plugin still fills out the fields on the PDF, since no text has been entered it enters the name of the conditional field shortcode. Is there any way to have it not enter anything, or at least enter blank text rather than the shortcode field name? I’ve also tried creating a blank conditional field and entering blank placeholder text (if the user selects no), however I can’t figure out how to map 2 different fields to 1 field in a PDF.

The email does in fact send, but it does not display properly on the front end. I also tried the WPCF7 redirection plugin, but that did not work either.

I set up a form using a PDF that gets filled with form data.

Everything works fine when using Chrome on PC.

The spinning will is all the form does in Firefox. Edge, Android, OSX, MacOS.

So it looks like nothing else else works but Google Chrome.

What do you thing the problem may be?

Add row function at the form will not diplay properly at the pdf, but the html message looks okay.

the 2nd add row will not display as a table or space correctly…

Hi I have a timesheet system that uses your plugin to fill in the timesheet and attach to an email. I am doing a save function that skips the mail and saves the data, but I have the option to save the PDF into a folder which I want on the submit but not the save. Are there any hooks I can use to stop the PDF generation when I don’t need the PDF?

The tab where you add a pdf and setup the mapping CF7 field/mail-tags and PDF fields does not save.

trying with all possible options –> “return to form” or “X”

saving the form after making changes and reopening the tab results in no changes. This way it is impossible to map fields or even remove an attached pdf.

Digging deeper the error comes from line 3 of this file:

I bought you pro API and everything works great but the problem is that your plugin doesn’t support conditional fields plugin.

I made a groups with that plugin. If client will choose one option then group “group1” will be visible. If he choose other option then group “group2” should be visible.

In email message it looks like this:

[group1]Message1[/group1][group2]Message2[/group2]

And it actually works. Depending on the answer it will show Message1 or Message2.

On PDF it doesn’t work – I can see only full code. I thought that everything that works with email will also work on PDF. Any solution?
