However, when I click on the button, the file appears in my browser for downloading but it fails to download.

When I try to activate the plugin on my WordPress site with PHP 8.3, it crashes and I get this error message in the logs:

I’m trying your plugin for a spanish site and I have a pdf button at the bottom of posts to print them.
The problem is that whenever I try to make a pdf out of a post it seems to glitch and shows weird characters wherever there should be an accent in the text.

Check the first word in the title for the pdf(button at the bottom) and compare to the post.

Any ideas of where that may come from?

I have site that uses Weglot as translation plugin. However, the PDF Generator for WordPress doesn’t retrieve the translation (E.g.: When accessed in EN, people still got the ES version of the PDF). Can you fix that?

We acquired the pro version for this website. Your documentation says that your plugin is multilingual, works with Divi and works with woocommerce. And my first results are completely the contrary.
Does this work with Divi base modules?
Does this really work with woocommerce? I need to show product attributes?
Does this work with foreign language accents?

French characters (é, à, è, ?, etc…) are shown in UTF-8 code in the PDF, despite using DejaVu Sans as a typography.

Do you have a fix for this ?

Is there a way to output umlauts (? ü ? ) from german language correctly in the PDF? Currently its shown as UTF-8 codes, that is not readable.

It would be a shame if umlauts are not possible, until then everything works perfectly.

Can we pass post_id as the second parameter to filter hook? I am getting Fatal error in my project.
As per documentation, we can pass post_id as second parameter.

I am using WP version 6.3.2. I am getting this error in conflict with other plugin. Let me know if any more information is needed.

Since the last version (1.3.5) I see many warnings in the error log of a client’s site:

DOMDocument::loadHTML(): Tag figure invalid in Entity, line: 141 in /.../wp-content/plugins/pdf-generator-for-wp/common/class-pdf-generator-for-wp-common.php on line 270

The lines (301 and 141) are varying and might be related to the content they handle. Line 270 in the PHP file is always the same.

It looks like the timestamps match to requests in the access log like:

GET /2020/09/19/random-post-title?action=genpdf&id=345

Is there a way to make a PDF from content within a div or iframe?

It has been working like a charm until last weeks when I had the bad surprise to discover this error page after clicking the button:

Unable to stream pdf: headers already sent

I have checked if I had the last version, I removed my child theme, deactivated last installed plugins, empty caché 20 times but still the same error.

When I enable this option in the PDF Settings, English and LTR languages – brackets and numbers are not working properly. Can you please investigate this issue?

After upgrading a woocommerce pdf invoices related plugin “PDF Invoices & Packing Slips for WooCommerce” we started seeing error in this plugin’s vendor file when clicked on button to download pdf.

Error states:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get_stylesheet() on null in /nas/content/live/sa2pro/wp-content/plugins/pdf-generator-for-wp/package/lib/dompdf/vendor/dompdf/dompdf/src/FrameReflower/Page.php:53

Latest version of plugin i.e. Version 1.2.9 is installed.

So the issue is that when there is an article that has a large table on it the pdf download will end when the table reaches the bottom of its page with the rest of the text from that table appearing combined at the top header section of the page. Im just wondering if there are any fixes for this or anyway i can format tables to prevent this from happening?
