Hi,
I have you plugin installed on my windows dev-server and it shows that Imagick ist installed but ghostscript isn’t.
In fact I’m rather sure by now that it is, just not in the way you test for it or wordpress expects to use it to generate pdf-thumbnails
And wordpress does not generate pdf thumbnails.
I also have an other plugin ‘Debug Media’ that tells me that ghostscript is installed and also the correct version.
I spent a lot of time trying to find a solution, but I’m stuck. So I hope that you maybe able to point me in the right direction.
THX
I’m running ImageMagick/Imagick/Ghostscript but this plugin is reporting that ImageMagick and Ghostscript are not found. I’m able to run a sample page to generate a bitmap, so both ImageMagick and the Imagick plugin must be found.
As for Ghostscript, I have it installed, though ImageMagick doesn’t show it as supported. I’ve added the GS DLL’s to PATH (it’s a Windows box), but I’m not sure if I need to do anything else. It tells me that it can’t load IM_MOD_RL_PDF_.dll, though it’s definitely there.
1. Why is it showing ImageMagick as not installed?
2. Any idea why GS isn’t working (not your problem, I know!)
Thanks!

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in /my-path/wp-content/plugins/pdf-thumbnails-support-test/pdf-thumbnails-test.php on line 17
I assume that means my server does NOT support WP’s PDF thumbnails. But is this activation error how the plugin is intended to tell me that? Or should it install normally, and then be used in Admin > Tools?

any thoughts on this?
thx, misty
