It told me the server was missing ImageMagick. The hosting servive (WP Engine) said it was installed. I used the built in Site Health info to verify that it was indeed installed. I think this plugin is no longer supported or working properly.

Seem to report correctly, it says I should be able to get PDF thumbnails, and it is true.
