The format of the date and time in the emails is incorrect. Well for parts of the world it is. Suggest you use get_option(‘date_format’) instead of “d/m/Y” and get_option(‘time_format’) so that it matches the blog’s format properly.

]]>Hey there,
I just tried out your plugin and had to realise it does not seem to work with pending posts submitted via front-end (in my case, DW Questions & Answers). Once a question/post is being created, it notifies the admin address, and the e-mail is bare of links to the right post. Also, specific category notifications fail. It however works when I add a pending post to that post type in the backend, i.e. it notifies the right address with the right link to the post in the backend. Can something be done about this?
Thanks in advance

]]>At the moment, as the admin, the comments/notes I make will notify the author, but I am not notified of any responses that the author then makes in reply. Obviously, this hinders collaboration.
The email setting for comments notification currently excludes comments/notes by the author:
“Edited and commented on (using the Peter’s Post Notes plugin) by someone who is not the author, without having changed the status”
Would it be possible to include an option to notify the admin when a comment is submitted by the author, so as to enable greater collaboration?

]]>Hi Peter,
I was wondering if support is still on for PCemails.
Most modern mail servers do not longer allow a from/sender address that is not linked to the domain that is sending. So for example, an author with an gmail or hotmail account will break the plugin when sending a notification to an editor with that address as from/sender.
The workaround is to put in a hard from address, such as [email protected]. Now emails get delivered to the editors. But the problem is, editors and authors want to reply on these notifications. I already put in a notice in the translations files, send with the email, to not reply. But people don’t read.
A solution may be to put in a [reply-to] line in the email header, with the email address from the submitter of the post. I feel this can be done, am I right?
This would not break the sending of email from the domain, because the sender is [email protected], but authors and editors CAN reply to the submitter!
Do you perhaps host the code for your plugin somewhere where people can fork and contribute?
Looking forward to you reply.

]]>This may seem off-topic but it affects the use of this plugin – wondering if you have an idea.
I’m testing this plugin along with your post notes plugin. But every time I go back and forth with contributors we are getting that “… is currently editing this post” error at the top of the posts even though we are not in the posts. I thought I’d resolved that a while ago with this function added to my functions.php, but no such luck:
add_action( 'wp', 'post_pw_sess_expire' );
function post_pw_sess_expire() {
if ( isset( $_COOKIE['wp-postpass_' . COOKIEHASH] ) )
// Setting a time of 0 in setcookie() forces the cookie to expire with the session
setcookie('wp-postpass_' . COOKIEHASH, '', 0, COOKIEPATH);
}
Its kind of annoying to get the email notices to check your post and then get that error. Again, I realize its nothing to do with your plugins, but you could say its interfering with the smooth operation of the process. Do you have a suggestion?

]]>Hi Peter,
Awesome plugin idea. I hope we can work on this one as many people will be using this for WP multisite.
When I try to Create a group on the /wp-admin/options-general.php?page=peters_collaboration_emails.php, I received an error message which says:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/prodin/public_html/wp-content/plugins/peters-collaboration-e-mails/peters_collaboration_emails.php on line 940
I suspect that you should allow your plugin to create your own wp database tables and store that information per blog ID. It should work for normal site and multisite.
Let me know, what you think. Cheers!
