I created twp products both with kind of long URLs. The first URL displays exactly how I entered it. The second is being modified to something with a product number in it. I do not want it this way. If the first worked why not the second? Tried a quick edit on the slug and it will not change your modified URL. How can I fix this?

Rank Math scores do not show up in the SHOP editing pages but did on previous release.
Tried DISABLE GUTENBERG and did not work on any site. Switched to CLASSIC EDITOR plugin and works on one site but not in PG SIMPLE AFFILIATE SHOP.

I resolved the problem. The culprit was a plugin called ClickBank Vendor

I installed Yoast SEO as you suggested and something called Better Search as it is supposed to be able to search databases. The only thing Better Search and Google can find is the product name or a fragment of it. The description field is invisible to search engines. Better Search tells me this is because of a “no follow” tag being inserted. I am allowing indexing of everything in the site. I saw a post about Yoast and Taxonomies but it was very old and for a very old version of Yoast.

Bottom line…all my important data about my products is in the description field. If that is not searchable I cannot use the plugin.

I have about 20 products listed with this plugin. Images are set to click straight to the source link. Clicking on the name of each product takes me to the link /sasproduct/product-name but all the product links (all 20~ of them) show one particular product — not the one that should show up.

Please see my website for what I mean: https://www.inspiredforward.com/shop. Every /sasproduct/ link shows the information for one product.

Whenever we use the image url from commission junction the image url from network will not appear (image is broken) unless we are logged in to the cj network or it will disappear from website.

Please tell us how to fix this problem. The image links are usually (right click and copy image from cj network)

This plugin is neat. But it doesnt have categories. To make it really useful it needs to have categories to add products to. Then have a category menu like an actual online store. whats the point of just listing hundreds of products on a page not divided up into categories??

Can I just ask, if I was to have a shop with products in different categories, how would I display those categories on one page so that a visitor can search for the kind of item they’re looking for?

So for example if I had a category for bouncy balls, one for tennis rackets, one for dog toys etc, how would I have a page which shows each of those sections separately, then I can click on any of them and find a full list of balls on one page/tennis rackets on another etc

I wonder whether there there is a shortcode I’ve missed, as all my products display on one page as seen at https://lovefamilyholidays.co.uk/holiday-essentials-online/ – or do I have to manually add a list to the page I want to be my shops main page myself and then link to individual categories?

I cant get the products to show under the product type im using the helper button inserting the details and it keeps coming back as 0 despite adding products and setting up the product types.

I’ve recently installed the plugin and configured some affiliate products quite nicely. So easy! But… In checking out how things look, I notice a link top right on this page:

the link text says “Product”, and when I click on it, it goes to a page not found error. I don’t see any pages anywhere on my site or listed in published pages called ‘sasproduct’. What is this and how do I either link it properly or get rid of it so I don’t have invalid pages on my site? THANK you:)

I already sent you an email, but I think that support could be useful for me and for other, so I put it on your support’s plug in ??

We use your plugin PG Simple Affiliate Shop which works pretty well, beside one thing the pagination. After installing your plug-in, I made just one modification and rename the directory “/shop/”. For a while it works, but for a week pagination use fails.

The problem is that when we click on “next button” or “1|2|3” we are automatically redirect.
For example, https://www.fixie-lille.fr/shop/?page=2 is automatically redirected to https://www.fixie-lille.fr/shop/2/

I verified all other plug in like “Redirection”, the .htaccess and my wordpress theme. Do you know how I can fix it ?

For example give shop page number like “/shop/x/” instead of “/shop/?page=x” or block the redirection ?

So far, I am loving this plugin. I would like to know how do I create different product categories where I would create a specific product and add it to a specific category. How would I do this?

Also, I’m not quite understanding the “Product Type” feature. The “On Sale” states: “These products may be highlighted as on sale”, but when this option is selected, the products don’t stand out from the others. Am I missing something?

Hi,

I’m using the shop icon to try to paste the code into a page. In the box that appears there’s a dropdown menu, I go through the steps but nothing happens other than a 0 appearing in the top left hand corner of the box. What am I missing here?
