Hi. I’m trying to add the Photoblocks shortcode into a template. I am using ACF to create a custom post type with custom fields but I’m not sure what type of field I should select for the Photoblock shortcode. I have tried as a Text field and adding this custom field to the template using Meta Field Block but it’s showing the shortcode rather than the gallery. Please help ??

Everything works correctly except the main function: reorganizing images (drag and drop).
Indeed, it is very difficult to position a new image in a grid because the images shift vertically and not horizontally, which is the rule and very logical given that we read from left to right and top to bottom.

This problem has existed for a very long time, I hope it can be fixed in future versions.

When opening an image on a PC, the lightbox appear with both a foreground and a background ‘X’ to exit. If clicking the mouse outside the image (a ‘-‘ appears as cursor), another lightbox appears, allowing for a full screen mode..

And when using a mobile (I tried both Chrome and Firefox), there is no way to get to the ‘second’ lightbox, and neither the previous nor the next arrows works, an neither of the close buttons (‘X’) works..

I have updated to the latest version.

I have tried everything but when I create a block in the editor it looks completely different on the front end. The image sizes somehow are not saved or overruled.

I have set the grid to 15 columns i.e. three per image, resulting in five images in a row. Although not easy (as image sizes are notoriously difficult to adjust) after some trial and error it looks the way I want in the editor. Click ‘publish’ and guess what… three large images covering the first twelve columns and three small ones covering the remaining three. Refresh the editor and indeed; everything mixed up again. Tried it with less and more columns, made do difference. It can’t be done!

I have disabled the cache plugins and cannot seem to find the cause. Is this a known bug or am I missing something?

Whats the difference between “Gallery PhotoBlocks” and “Gallery Final Tiles Grid”? Which is lighter?

Plug-in works ok on computer but Shuffle doesn’t seem to work on mobile… either iPad or iPhone. Am I missing something?

it just darken the screen but it doesnt show the lightbox with image.

Another bug/question – I am trying to get the IMAGE SETTINGS > ON CLICK > TARGET to open in the same window. For some reason, I cannot get it to work. It always defaults to open in a new window and shows as a blank in the settings. See Screenshot.

Trying to make the gallery shortcode full-width in Zino theme. Added this CSS:

.photoblocks-gallery {
    max-width: 100% !important;
}

And now the “side by side” photos are stacking instead of staying side by side. See Screenshot –>

Is there a better way to make this full screen? Much appreciated. I like the plugin.

Hello ! Please, is there a way to have photoblock’s lightbox to display a logo automaticaly on all the photos of the gallery, so it’s a form of protection and signature .. ?
like in the bottom left or right corners …. with a bit of transparency, and a customizable size/padding … ?
It would be fantastic ?? , as a photographer i’d need this.

Does anyone know how to subscript numbers in Photoblocks?
I’m trying to input image title NH₄OH with a subscript 4.
It is the third image in the Photoblocks Gallery on my homepage.

But I didn’t see a resolution. I’m having the same problem with Gravity Forms buttons in the admin (as well as Divi). The font is replaced with icons. Deactivating Gallery Photo Blocks fixes this.

Hello ! I’m trying to find how to avoid a margin at the top of the photoblocks gallery, just between the gallery and the header.
As i scroll down the gallery and the margin disappear below the header, and it’s fine. But before scrolling, the margin appears and i’d prefer the gallery to start right below the header, i couldn’t find where to adjust it.

We use 4 columns on mobile and have set the padding to 0. Nevertheless, there remains a thin white border line around some of the images, not all.

Can this be removed?

I created and uploaded a photoblocks gallery, and at first it uploads fine and looks great. But when I refresh the page I get a list of warning messages that all say

Warning: Creating default object from empty value in?/home/customer/www/(my website name).com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/photoblocks-grid-gallery/public/class-photoblocks-public.php?on line?215

Just a clarification that the gallery does show up as well, but the warning messages are all listed before the pictures.

There are about 50 warnings, and I have 62 pictures. I looked also at the formatting and what I have set through the photoblocks gallery to what uploads to my website is slightly different.

All of the photos are there as close as I can tell, but the layout is different from the photoblocks gallery to the website upload.

Does anyone know why these errors are popping up? And how to fix it? Please and thank you!

I have 3 Photoblocks galleries on my website, scribbleimages.com.

These 3 galleries are under the menu item: Fairview 2022-2023

The galleries perform well operating on a Windows platform (versions 10, 11 and even an old Windows 7 system). The example in the link I have submitted has 9 photos in the gallery. When you launch any photo in the matrix, the left and right arrow keys operate – to go back one photo or advance to the next photo.

On the tablets (IPADs and Samsung Galaxy) the photo matrix will display, and if you click on the first photo, for example, that photo will be displayed – BUT the right and left arrows are inoperable. So you are frozen on that photo. Even the smaller 4 photo gallery has problems. I have the standard free version – I am on version 1.2.8.

I am expierencing problem with our (just bought) plugin Photoblocks Image Gallery. We have bought the premium version of it but it keeps showing ‘free’ and we cannot use any of the premium functions? How come and how to fix this?

hi, I’m having issue with the gallery plugin, as I have updated the images in the gallery but when you click on any image, it is showing the old image in the popup which was uploaded at very first time. And there is no option to update it.. Please help me with a solution.

I set up my gallery a while back and it was working wonderfully but after a site migration, I ran into the issue that when clicking on the image it opens the link on a new page even when it is set to open on the same page.

I set up the link again, specified on the ‘Target’ dropdown that it should open on the same page, publish it, and still no change. I even go back to editing the block and the ‘Target’ dropdown is blank.

I don’t know why this is happening but I hope you can shed a light on how should I proceed, thank you!

We are trying to get the captions to how up on hover and under the image when we enlarge it. Then, we are trying to figure out how to get a next image or close button on the top right once we enlarge it…Thanks!!!

I was wondering if it is possible, let’s say I have a gallery with 6 blocks that goes onto 3 rows. I have set the gallery to randomize the order of the blocks, but I would like it to show only 2 of those 3 rows as if the 3rd was hidden, so every time you go into the website you can see some blocks but not all of them and always random. Is there a way to do so? to only show some but not all rows on the gallery?

The plugin in working perfectly. It loads fine in the front-end. But in the backend when i go to edit a gallery the images are not showing there. Newly added images are showing for a while. But later those also not showing in the backend. Can you please tell me what is the issue?

Hi, I just have to say beforehand that this plugin is amazing, I have been dealing with a bunch of squared and not at all flexible galleries for weeks and finding your plugin felt like a breath of fresh air. Thank you!

Now, I have created an amazing gallery that looks exactly like I wanted but I would like to be able to get the images to stay within their margins when the hover effect shows so that it doesn’t go behind the next image and the grid margins stays in place. Is there any code I could add to the customization to do so? So that instead of floating the image it only zooms on its grid?

I’m having difficulties with implementing the galleries on the ‘/design-de-interiores’ page. The page is built in Elementor and has a shortcode field which navigation tabs are included (which are already working). However, inside the shortcode there is a section with divs that each contain a different gallery, included by the plugin’s shortcode.
The difficulty is that only the first gallery on the page is loaded, while the others are not. This also happens if I include the gallery by the element itself. can you help me?

Hi there I am getting this error message:

“The thumbnails cache folder is not writable! Click here to read how you can fix this. Unless you do so your images might not appear and the plugin could only generate whitespace!”

When I click on the link to see how to fix it, it says “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.”

Any idea how to resolve this?
