I inserted the part of the tag into the plug in, but I still get an error message from pinterest. Is there any way to fix this?

I saw an explanation for how to verify pinterest on my website. Here’s the steps:
Go to dashboard,
click appearance
click editor
go to header (right hand side)…..there is no header on the right hand side

Why can’t I find this, trying to get a meta tag uploaded. TIA.

Hi, thank you SO much for creating this plugin! I have been killing myself figuring out how to verify my wordpress blog. I did everything I was directed to do and I think I have it right but I still can’t verify my site. Is there a chance I did something wrong? I put just the content from the meta tag and it’s still not working. I also read the other poster’s support question about the same topic, but it still didn’t work for me.
My website is https://bridgetteraes.com. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This plugin dose not allow my site to be verified probably because of the missing “/” in the closing tag.
