With Pixabay Images activated, I cannot use the Divi 4.3.4 visual builder. This plugin hasn’t been updated in 2-years and it shows. I used to love it, but no more.

Hi Simon, I have version 3.4 and it doesn’t work. Happy to help you solve the bug and turn the one star into five. When clicking on the image to download, the little loader animation keeps going forever and I see an error 500 on a post attempt to /wp-admin in my Chrome console. Then when I look in the media gallery after a few more seconds, the images shows up as broken (grey page icon).
––EDIT––
Apparently the bug comes from a conflict with the WP Super Cache plugin by Automattic: the “Clear all cache files when a post or page is published or updated” option needs to be checked in the Advanced settings. Four stars now that it works.

Used to be a “Great” stock picture tool, but is in dire need of an update because it declined to an “Okay” stock picture tool.
Key words often don’ t seem to work as well in the plugin as they do on the Pixabay site self and many irrelevant results get mixed in.
This plugin is still somewhat faster than searching on google images for “labeled for reuse” pictures. But nowadays I often find myself using google anyway because I can’t even simply find a good “strawberries cream” in the pixabay app.
Bummer ??

Worked great as long as I was using a vanilla theme, but after struggling with the DIVI Builder not loading when I tried to edit pages, have found out that it is not working properly with divi. Currently on Divi Version: 3.21.3, and Pixabay Plugin Version: 3.4

Bilder lassen sich schnell und einfach in den Editor einbinden, kein unn?tiges extra hochladen… macht weiter so, ich bin begeistert

For me, it works perfectly and saves a ton of time when I need CC0 images – which is frequently.

Great idea, too bad it doesn’t work. Images show up in search, but don’t download or place in posts.

very nice and easy way to add (featured) images for pages or posts, which dont have any other visualization.
thank you for this plugin ??

Just great ??

I prefer the previous model than the latest.
It was very easy to choose image based on dimension.
I have to downgrade, but where can I find the previous file?

A legal (yet, illegal in every sense) extortion letter from Getty Images ignited my need to find another source of genuinely free images online. Hence, ended up finding this awesome free source of truly free images online i.e. pixabay.com. I fear all the time that such a great source could easily be bought (gobbled up) by greedy and infamous businesses i.e. Getty and we will have to find some other source for genuinely free images. Until that happens, let’s all enjoy the free ride.

A good help to sites that need good free images on the fly.

For providing a simple interface to Public Domain images this is great. I’ve been using https://www.pixabay.com for sometime and this now makes things a snap.
If you want larger file sizes you will need to go to download manually from the site directly, but this is not an issue. The plugin provides perfect simplicity for non-tech users to get images (not massive in size!) onto their site.
I’ve added it as a suggested extension to https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/role-based-help-notes/
great help thanks!

useability could be way better. the workflow is kind of unclear.

It works as advertised, and is probably the best plugin in the genre.

Finally I found a great and free image resources site! Pixabay is just awesome!

Ich habe es für meinen Blog getestet – funktioniert einwandfrei und ist denkbar einfach in der Bedienung. Vielen Dank dafür!

Good choice of high quality pictures and works perfectly in the backend and the frontend. It offers also good administrative options, although more of them would even be better (for example choices of where and how to put the source information, more import size choices, maybe an option to import a picture in different sizes for preview and full screen, etc.). But even in this state a very useful plugin, so thank you very much! The only thing to hope is that the license of the images is really public domain ??

With many commercial magazine themes demanding large-scale images, the need for a Pixabay is readily apparent. So too its limitations. I searched for four terms — forest, military, candy, and team — all of which came back with impressive images, none of which were wider than 640px. Great for content within a post, but not for themes that use featured images in sliders.
Notably, the website itself offers the larger image sizes. Perhaps this is a glitch?

Can you be more specific, please?

It is extremely easy to use … in a few clicks, picture is saved in the media gallery, attached to current gallery and inserted in the edit page.
no easier than that and is free ??
