thanks for that plugin! it wolud be a nice feature to have an option to define the time that the download counter is cached. imho a few choices (e.g. 12 hours, 1 day, 2 days, 3 days, 5 days, 7 days) would be enough.

I tried this plugin as looked interesting, but it doesn’t seem to work for me on my site.

On adding the shortcode with the slug for one of my own plugins, the page went blank. This is not the ‘white screen of disappointment’ as everything up to and including the masthead, menu and title showed, but everything from the main content onwards failed to display.

I made a temporary test page which includes the shortcode at https://cubecolour.co.uk/test-page-2/ to show this
