This idea of filtering more relevant plugins also crossed my mind…
Now that I have that functionality I have mixed feelings.

Your plugin is great for certain cases; I would like to be able to easily turn it on or off.

Regarding functionality:
– I’d like to see a text on top of the INSTALL PLUGINS page, informing me that these search results are filtered (and how).
– I’d like to easily turn it off and on, on that same page, for convenience.
– When active, I’d like to have a link that shows me unfiltered results in a new window.

Quite often I search for very specific plugins, and once in a while I find a pearl among the once w/o reviews, or the ones that just got added.

This is just the start of a plugin directory helper, but it has potential to be much more than what is in this 0.1 version.

I wrote it, so I think its good. Don’t agree? Tell me what I need to add/change to make it better!
