I’ve just started to receive errors from WordPress relating to a potential issue with the E20R Utilities Module.
I used the import function earlier today ad all seemed to be OK. I’m not seeing any issues with the site as such but receiving notification of any sort of error message is concerning.
Has anyone else seen similar? Is it related to the recent update to WP 6.5 perhaps? Any other thoughts?
The error received is as follows:
Hi!
WordPress has a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, E20R Utilities Module.
First, visit your website ([Link Removed]) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://[site]/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php) and check for any visible issues.
Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.
If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.
[Link Removed]
To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.
When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
WordPress version 6.5
Active theme: Beaver Builder Child Theme (version 1.0)
Current plugin: E20R Utilities Module (version 2.3.3)
PHP version 8.1.27

Hi, I just installed the import pmpro members plugin and it shouts that it needs the E20R Utilities Module. What is it exactly? Do I really need it? Thanks in advance!
]]>I have a category of user for which membership does not expire. If I configure a user in PMPro using the console, I can choose not to set the expiry date but I can’t find a way to replicate this feature using the Import from CSV tool.
If I remove membership_enddate from the CSV I get an invalid date error, similarly if I leave the field in place but choose not to enter anything I get the same error. Is there a workaround for this?
]]>I’ve been trying to use the plug-in ahead of importing a batch of users for my site.
I think I’ve gotten around most of the gotchas and can now import a new user successfully with all of the relevant fields configured appropriately however the password I’m setting for my user doesn’t seem to work. The user is being created correctly and I can use the forgotten password prompt to reset the password but I’d like the initial password I’m setting for my users to be honoured. I haven’t selected the ‘Password is already hashed’ option.
I wonder if there are any plug-in specific constraints such as character count, use of special characters etc. I should be aware of? The passwords I’ve tried to create should meet WordPress best practice. Are there any other issues to consider?
I’m using WP 6.22
]]>I am trying to update a list of users with a membership level that they don’t currently have. I am using the Import From CSV add-on. Using a sample file with user-email and membership_id only, with one sample row only. The email value is of a current user, and membership_id value is 1. Import says it is successful but membership level stays untouched with “None”.
]]>I’m trying to import a test user, and while the user is created and most fields get filled, it does not get given their membership level, despite having a value of 3 under “membership_id”, matching the id # of the desired membership level. I’m also unable to retrieve any error logs from the import as the uploadse20r_im_errors.log file that the “View Log” button links to still does not exist after running the import.

Hello,
I’m currently migrating my WordPress website from one server to another one.
I exported my WordPress users with this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/users-customers-import-export-for-wp-woocommerce/ to keep actuals users passwords (is it the good way ?)
After that, all users are inserted with the first membership level (1).
To update these membership levels, I exported my members with the nativ Export button on Paid Member Ship plugin screen.
I updated colomuns headers and formatting to be understood by your import plugin.
After the importation, the WordPress user has two levels : the first default one and the other from my members export ; but in the members screen my member is always on the first default level.
Thank you in advance for your time.
Hi, I am trying to import users with their membership levels – plus, some users have several membership levels. I cannot see where to put this info in the sample csv upload file. Which column should I use and can I upload a user with several membership levels?
Thanks
]]>Using the sample or customized csv works seemlessly only when importing new users.
Using the same csv to import again yields:
[Line 1] Unable to cancel old membership level (ID: 1) for user (ID: XX)
[Line 2] Unable to set 'inactive' membership status/date for user (ID: XX) with membership level ID 1
or just [Line 2]

Is there a fix or workaround for [Line 2]
?
Hi,
Really excited to have the option of taking existing “subscribers” (added by a membership plugin that has been abandoned) and turn them into “members” to input into PMP using your plugin. But I want to use your sample csv file, which I cannot do.
When I click the link to You may want to download and review the example CSV file I get a 404 ‘page not found’ error.
We are in the process of removing old plugins. Could it be that that’s causing this error? Do you have another location where I can download your sample csv file?
Many thanks!
]]>Hi,
Long before I knew about PaidMembershipsPro, we were building our membership through PayPal subscriptions. Our legacy members have been paying monthly and annually membership fees to us directly via PayPal for years. Now that we are now using PMPro, we’re trying to import and sync all our legacy PayPal members into PMPro, keeping all of their payment history. We want our legacy members to be able to log into our website and see their past payments (order history) since they’ve became a member.
How do I import one or more members’ PayPal Transaction History into PMPro for either existing or non-existing users on my WordPress site?
Thanks,
exius
Hello, I just downloaded and installed the plugin. When I tried to download the sample csv, WP says there is no file. Is there somewhere I can get a sample file?
Thanks,
Graeme
Hi,
I’m trying to use the plugin to import a number of users. After some trials and errors, import seems to work ok with no error messages.
However, if I also install your Better Member List plugin, it shows all the imported records as having a next Payment date of January 1, 1970 (under “Expires”). What is going wrong here?
]]>Hi there, I am having issues with uploading my CSV. I have gone through the troubleshooting to try and determine what is wrong but I’m at a loss. The error I am getting is below, and if you could take a look and see if you can shed some light that would be great! I can send you a link to the CSV if that is helpful too.

]]>Hi, For some reason I have a number of members who have a Joined date a few years in the future. I don’t know how that happened, I just inherited it but it may have happened when Membership Pro was first installed and they I know they had a few issues with the import when they added a few initial members. I am wanting to change this so their membership joined date is in the past. I can’t see how to change the date manually. Is there a way of changing it using the import utility ? I did try this by using the import template spreadsheet and using the Membership Start Date field but that had no effect on the Joined date.
Many thanks in advance.
My clients get alot of checks each holiday. Members want to extend their membership yearly by checks.
I uploaded the file:
https://www.lymedisease.org/MEMBER-IMPORT-12-3-2018-nextyear.csv
to extend the test membership by 1 year, in the error log i got the following:
[Line 1] No user_login or user_email supplied/generated, or the user_login/user_email is already in use at row 2 (Not imported!)
Yes, the login/email is already in use, however i need to extend the membership by 1 year. Sometimes members also choose a different membership type and higher dollar amount.
In your form i dont see where i can upload a new order only and dont understand how i would change the csv file to do this.
please advise.
thank you.

Can you help please.

Hello Thomas,
Was alerted to your plugin by the folks at PMPro;
I am trying to Approve a new member at time of import;
The level requires approval with add-on https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/approval-process-membership/
I see that in the DB the value is in wp_DB_usermeta > meta_key pmpro_approval_1 > When approved the meta_value gets updated (see below)
Do you think there is a way to update this meta-Value to approve the Member on upload?
meta_value:
s:6:”status”;s:8:”approved”;
s:9:”timestamp”;i:1537887743;
s:3:”who”;i:2;
s:8:”approver”;
s:6:”xxxxxx”;
When Pending
meta_value:
s:6:”status”;s:7:”pending”;
s:9:”timestamp”;i:1537889357;
s:3:”who”;
s:0:””;
s:8:”approver”;
s:0:””;
Thanks

Hello,
I’ve succeeded in figuring out how to import members to the site, however, when I import a user, the welcome email is not sent. I have tested and when I un-tick the box for “Your password was changed” / the “Your email address was changed” , that email does get sent. So the problem is just with the imported_member.html email.
is there a reason why the welcome email wouldn’t be sent when the box is ticked?
thanks!

This is related to that thread. Told to write it here.
We are trying to import files into our site, but it’s not going into the right part of the system.
Happy to offer samples and even access if someone can help.
The theme we are using is Sweetdate.
IT has Buddy press and Paid Memberships Pro.
Hello,
First of all, thanks for a great plugin! It will be be saving me SO MUCH time importing hundreds of members.
I have two questions about the imported_member.html email contents:
1) Is it possible to include the users password in the email? So they know how to access their account.
2) Where can I modify the subject of this email? For now it’s “Your membership to !!sitename!! has been activated”
Thanks!
]]>I am using the template to import new members. It creates the users but does not create the membership record. If I look at error log it says :
The membership ID (membership_id) column does not contain a numeric membership Level for user (ID: 2612). (Membership data not imported!)
In the csv fie the fields have the number 1 or 4 which match the level ID’s listed in my Membership Levels.
Knowing that the format has to be correct I have tried to the format for the column to be Number. I have also tried building the import file using both Excel and Google Sheets.
Any help appreciated
Hi,
I am trying to import users from csv file but facing the issue for membership start date and end date. While importing csv membership start date is updated to the current date it’s not updated according to the information in the csv file.
Below is my sample csv file link
https://avetpa.org.au/nrea/wp-content/uploads/e20r_imports/userlistnrea.csv.
I am using $current_user->membership_level->startdate this to display the membership start date, it will show me the current date.
]]>Hi There,
Personally your plugin works a lot better than the official version by the Paid Membership Pro team.
I’ve been able to successfully load my test records but the only field not loading is the surname and in previous version this field work perfectly fine ie v2.4
I have 2 column heading which i need to fill with the surname and they are:
pmpro_blastname
last_name (which is a custom field – note first_name loaded fine).
Any ideas or suggestions
