Do I need PODS installed for this to work, OR is this for any WP site that just needs the alternative to REDIS MEMCACHED ????

]]>Hello,
I’ve installed the plugin and added the following lines at the top of the ‘wp-config.php’ file:
define( ‘PODS_ALT_CACHE’, true );
define( ‘PODS_ALT_CACHE_TYPE’, ‘db’ );
I’ve expected to find a new table “podscache” (with additional prefix ‘xxxxxxx_podscache’) in my WP database, but this table was not created.
What went wrong?
Any help is appreciated
]]>Hi I installed podscache since wordpress was telling me that pods recommends this plugin. I have wordfence installed too. I saw podscache files are compromised. The following is an example:
Nombre del archivo: wp-content/podscache/000001/6/27e/09f/5ce4bbb2d44c7015c7f082c5b.php
Tipo de archivo: No un archivo del núcleo, de tema o de plugin de wordrpess.org.
Detalles: This file contains references to performance-enhancing pharmaceuticals. If your site does not sell or review pharmaceuticals, this is likely an indicator that it has been compromised. We recommend that you get your site professionally cleaned by the experts at Wordfence.

So I removed this plugin.
Hope you guys can solve the problem so podscache has proper security and wordfence trust it.

]]>Hi,
I’m seeing errors like the below that I think are related to PODS cache. Any idea where to start in looking for the cause of these errors?

When I deactivate plugin, some of data in PODS are vanishing. I mean: not on front end but in admin panel ?? how is it possible?
]]>I’m having what appears to be problems between WPEngine caching and Pods caching (BTW – not using Object Caching at WPE…just their default caching)
Every so often my Pods are throwing 404 errors. When I clear the Pods Admin cache, they come back fine.
Just wondering if I should give this a try, but the many references to Object-based caching, not sure if it’ll make any difference.
]]>Hi,
I have two questions:
1. I added the parameter PODS_ALT_CACHE_MEMCACHED_PORT in wp-config.
What should be the value of the port parameter? Should it be port 80?
2. I looked in debug information section in Pods Admin.
For all cache parameters (Opcode Cache and Object Cache) the value is no.
How can I check that pods caching is working?
Please help with this issue.
