I integrated in a Gravity Form a PODS taxonomy and a PODS post. The post and the taxonomy are connected in PODS. So I expected that submitting the Gravity form I transfer the values in the fields of the PODS post and that the PODS post will receipt the value of the PODS taxonomy associated. But the PODs post doesn’t receipt the value of taxonomy.
It’s possible that I make some errors in the strategy. I associated a radio field (In gravity) with the PODS taxonomy.
I need a gravity form that in one shot transfer fields value (it works) in the PODS fields and associated taxonomy with the assigned values. I don’t manage to get it.
Anyone can help me?
Given two Advanced Custom Type pods, “locations” and “contacts”, I would like a locations form that show all of the locations fields, including “contact”, which shows all of the contacts. That I can do, and the “contact” drop-down shows that “name” field of the all of the contacts.
What I would like is for the drop-down to show the name, email, and phone for the contact and then submit the ID.
Does anyone know if that’s possible? Maybe there’s a hook I can tie into…

Hi, first question: what about your “Pods Gravity Forms 2.0” ? I hope for the update.
My problem: With GF 2.6 there was the great feature of updating and the deleting a GF Entry, the pod was also updated and deleted. Now with GF 2.7 the update function does still work but when i delete a GF Entry the pod is still there. Can you check this out please?

In the Gravity form I have a single line non-post field with a default value of {user:ID}. This is a hidden field.
That same GF {user:ID} merge tag work in other fields such as post title. Also, if I use the GF posts fields to create a post everything works correctly, including the posts tags field.
Any insights on what might be going on here?
]]>I’m working on Pods Gravity Forms 2.0 and testing all current functionality against the latest Gravity Forms 2.6.x
In order to bring the plugin to the best footing possible for future development, Pods Gravity Forms 2.0 will require Gravity Forms 2.6+, PHP 7.2+, and WordPress 5.8+
It will be PHP 8.0+ compatible too!
I’ll be reaching out on our Pods Community Slack this month to solicit testers who are interested in helping finish the extended testing.
Thanks to everyone for their patience, big things ahead for Pods and forms and this revamp is just phase one!
]]>I cannot get a PODS CPT entries to feed a GF dropdown list.
I set up a dropdown list on the form and mapped it to a PODS CPT field.
However, the CPT has an unrelated field that is ‘required’ and the feed cannot be saved unless the CPT field is mapped to a form field (which does not make sense for this application).
This is obviously not working, so what should I be doing instead?
Is there any documentation?
I have installed Pods Gravity Forms Add-On and would like to use the pods fields that are inside my posts for the prices of the gravity forms product fields.
To do this I have associated the feed of my pods field with the price of the product field (single product) but it doesn’t work.
If this mode doesn’t work with single products, would there be some other way to do it?
Hello everybody,
I downloaded Pods Gravity Forms Add-On.
When on Gravity Forms I choose from the list of Merge Tags I see 2 new fields:
– Pods GF Item ID, {pods: id} if selected
– Pods GF Item Permalink, {pods: permalink} if selected
I tried searching some documentation but found nothing.
Could someone explain to me what they are for and how to use these merge tags?
Thank you.
Greetings. I am using Gravity Forms to edit some pod fields on the front end. After submitting a form entry, the following error messages appear on the page:

Thanks for contacting us! We will get back shortly. This page will now refresh so you can re-submit the form if you want to.
Can you shed any light on what these errors are, why they are appearing, and what I can do to resolve them?
Thank you very much in advance!

The logs don’t seem to show any errors, either in the core or the pods add-on. The form submission has been saved in Gravity Forms.

There seems to be a complete lack of documentation for this process. I have done this in the past with custom functions, but I thought the whole point of this integration was to remove the need for custom functions?
Also, none of the sample images on GitHub are loading, so I can’t use that documentation either.

I am testing gravity forms pods plugin with gravity flow workflow plugin ( where it adds pods feed to gravity forms )… I get critical error with pods GF addon installed but when i use default gravity forms post creation plugin i don’t get error… I removed this plugin and it works with GFpost creation plugin and if i activate this plugin it fails to work with critical error..
I have a “pods” feed that creates a new custom post when form is submitted and mapped fields to pods… Since removing it i added gravity forms custom post type plugin and it works.
Seems GFpods plugin has a conflict with gravity flow plugin – can you help?
See below as it appears Gravity flow team has already pointed this issue out to pods team.

Hello Nathan,
Thank you for clarifying.
We have been discussing this internally and have already reported this issue to the PODs.
It would also help if you can reach out to them via their support.
You can mention that they should be looking at gform_pre_entry_detail
action hook to setup Pods GF add-on hooks for when they are updating form entry, or check with GFCommon::is_entry_detail()
to check if they are on the correct page before calling the form method from GFEntryDetail
.
Does this help? Please do let us know when you hear back from the Pods team.
Thanks,

Another issue I noticed, is that custom override values are getting lost or ignored — so if I have an old feed configured and it uses custom override values, they keep blank if I update the feed with a custom value.
Any news about the update for this plugin?
I’m trying to filter a drop down list on my gravity form that is populated by a Pods feed. I would like to be able to hide terms that are marked as not current (custom pod field on the taxonomy term), so that they don’t appear in the list.
I’ve tried the following code snippet but it’s not working as expected. Has Anyone got any suggestions on how to filter this list at all?

]]>I’ve got a gravity form set up to create a Location post (my pod).
It’s important that the user have the option to hide the location’s address, so to that end I’ve got conditional logic on the feed so that if the “Hide address” field is checked, then it runs a different feed that stores the address in a field only visible from the backend of the site, instead of the front end address field.
The issue is, that it seems the form ALWAYS uses whichever feed was set up most recently.

]]>Hi, I made a form and I need to register one pod for every submission, but I need to choose different custom post types depending on a form dropdown field value.
i made different “pods” entries in Gravity form, and I set for each of them the condition to be triggered.
Anyway when I fill the form in the frontend, even if i choose different values in the dropdown field, pod is registered only in the first custom post type.
Is there any way to obtain what i’m looking for?
Thank you.
We use this plugin on a couple of sites. On all of them, we are facing an issue with the latest version 1.4.4.
Problem
When completing a gravity form, the pods entry is published / saved twice. So this creates a duplicate / double entry each time the form is submitted. We also tried to set the publish type under “advanced” to “draft”. But this also produces two drafts of the entry.
Steps to reproduce
Used versions (bug confirmed on all combinations)
Temporary Solution
Switch back to version 1.4.3 of this plugin.

]]>Hello…
I’m new about pods and gravity forms, I’m facing problem when adding two pods feeds in one form:
1- I’m create form with three pages
2- first page content “user” pod that I extended to add three more fields (id card number, telephone, photo)
3- second page content “instruments” pod with some fields
4- third page content “sketches” pod with some fields
5- when run this from: “user” pod updated by “User Registration Feeds” normally but photo uploaded WITHOUT ADDING TO DATABASE !!?
6- “instruments” pod in second page: inserted correctly (I make relationship to retrieve list of old instruments if the customer need to update but as i know no way to update from same form, and i make ajax code to fetch all data and filling in fields)
7- “sketches” pod in third page have some fields ONE OF THEM CALLED “SKETCH NUMBER”, So when form submitted, two pods items created in “instruments” with just “SKETCH NUMBER” data, and no item created in “sketches”
8- when i disable on of feeds the other work correctly, So i thinks the bug here in the loop of creating items of pods…!??
I hope to someone support and resolve the problem, and the upload user photo issue.
Thanks & Best regards ??
Using Gravity Pods Add-on with the latest version of Gravity Forms (2.5.6) and together with Gravity Wiz’s Gravity Perks Populate Anything (1.0-beta-516) causes issues. Fields are no longer populated properly in Populate Anything and fields disappear from the form. When the Gravity Pods Add-on is deactivated everything is normal and all fields auto populated by Populate Anything work fine. Discussed the conflict with Gravity Wiz support team; they consider it a Gravity Pods issue (it may not have been tested fully with the new Gravity Forms 2.56 version. Request for the Development team is to test Gravity Pods with the Gravity Forms 2.5.6 release and resolve incompatibilities.
]]>Hi,
I have gravitiy forms and pods post type on frontend form with “Pods Gravity Forms Add-On”
Form submission and editing is working.
But, I want only the author of the current post to be able to see and change the gravityform and pods type post.
Currently, every logged-in user (subscriber) is able to change every pod via gravity form on the frontend.
I need a permission type like “gravityforms_edit_own_forms”
or “pods_edit_own_forms”
I see a similar option for wpforms like “wpforms_edit_own_forms”
I also wat to limit the number of submissions to 1.
So user are only able to submit 1 form but edit it later.
Thank you Sebastian
]]>Hi,
Is it possible to just Populate Gravity forms with Pods fields but not create a feed.
I need to create a survey for different devices and it would be easier for my client to use pods and then populate automatically Gravity forms than create ne Gravity forms for different devices.
I have a form that is the front end for a Pod submission. This form has the change_upload_path filter applied to it to save any documents that are uploaded using this form to a specific upload folder. The file is uploading to the correct folder however the file is not being recorded in the wp_posts table.
The form is also updating a pod via the Pods add on (the pods data is stored in a separate table) and this is working correctly, I just seem to be missing the actual file information in the posts table.
If the change_upload_path function is not used, the file data is saved into the posts table correctly.
Here is a Gist of the function that is being used to change the upload direction:
https://gist.github.com/TRECGBAmy/b19fb83ce68e851cb88294667258ee40`
I have been in touch with Gravity Forms support and they have advised that
‘Out of the box the standard File Upload field does not add any info to the wp_posts table.’
I’m stumped as to how to get the file name to record correctly either in a Pods table or in the Posts table. Is there a way to save the sanitized filename into the Pods table directly from the Pods Add on for Gravity forms?
]]>I have a POD (Ornaments) with about 10,000 records.
I have a Table Storage POD (Collection) which represents a member’s ownership of one of the Ornaments.
There is a one way relationship field from Collection to Ornaments.
I created a GF form to allow signed in users to create a Collection record on the front end. That form is accessed from the Single View of an Ornament record.
I’m dynamically populating post_title, post_id and featured_image_id to the form.
The relationship field is a CF (Ornament) on the Collection Pod. When that field is set to Required the form gets hung up and never creates the Collection CPT. When I remove the Required, the form creates the CPT but doesn’t populate the relationship field.
The post_title and the featured_image are correctly included in the Collection record.
I have tried matching both the post_title and the post_id to the relationship field but neither populates the field. Manually I can create the relationship by pasting the Ornament post title onto the relationship field and it will find a match, which I then select. When I imported 16,000 of these records, I matched the Ornament Post ID to successfully populate the relationship field. The Relationship field in the Collection POD is set to single select, autocomplete. Should I be matching the Ornament Post Title or Post ID? Is the Relationship field setting of autocomplete correct? The other settings cause a memory overload when creating a manual record.
I have a gravity form that is linked to a POD that includes an image file. The form is used to edit existing information so we load data into the form using the changes required to the Functions.PHP file. The form loads the existing PODS data but it doesn’t show the existing image that is linked to the image field. We can upload a new image and everything works correctly, but you can’t see what is already associated with the POD. Is there a way to show what is already in the POD? We also want to add a multiple image field to our POD and we would also want people to see what was already linked to the POD.
