Some details are not completly translated (in my case) like the forward/back navigation buttons on a blog. But that can be changed with little code knowledge.

I WAS RUNNED UP TRANSLATING MY PAGE WITH SEVERAL LANGUAGES, I’D BETTER OPT FOR AN AUTOMATIC ONE, ALL THE CONFIGURATION IS GOOD, EXCEPT FOR THE LANGUAGE MENU WHICH HAS TO ADD CSS TO CENTER IT AND ADJUST TWO PER ROW.
ANOTHER THING IS THAT THE PERMANENT LINKS CROSS, MAINLY IN HOME, BECAUSE WHEN YOU PLACE PERMANENT IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE, IT IS DISABLED AND REMAINS AS DOMAIN.COM/EN/MAIN/. IT CAN BE CHANGED IN YOUR PERMANENT LINKS SETTINGS BUT IT IS CROSSED, THE SOURCE LANGUAGE IS LOST, DOMAIN.COM/ES/PRINCIPAL/ IS PLACED WHEN BEFORE IT WAS ONLY DOMAIN.COM
NOTE: THE BAR AT THE END SHOULD ALSO BE REMOVED BUT IT CANNOT BE, IT IS LIMITED.
THEN I SEE THAT THE REST WORKS WITH A NEW PAGE, WHICH IS GOOD FOR PERFORMANCE, BUT THE LINKS SHOULD BE IMPROVED.

J’utilise le plugin depuis 1 mois pour traduire mon site à l’origine en Fran?ais, et avoir une traduction en anglais.
Il est assez rudimentaire dans la version gratuite que j’utilise, mais avec un peu de temps de traduction manuelle j ‘ai traduit une bonne partie de mes pages et articles.
Il est robuste, j attend de voir par rapport au référencement, si il permet un bon référencement sur les moteurs de recherches étrangers pour l’instant je n ai pas assez de recul pour.
Le changement de langue par menu marche bien,
L intégration avec l interface admin est top et facile
J utilise avec Divi cela marche sans probleme

Polylang plugin is easy to operate, and works fine with minimum configurations.
It works well with Elementor builder, and other plugins, like Strong Testimonials.

Worst mistake I ever made. Uninstalling is impossible, can’t get it out of the application. There’s no documentation and their Support in this respect doesn’t exist.

On the whole, Polylang is really solid and in my opinion performs better than WPML, but it’s slightly misleading.
Their blurb for Polylang Free suggests that Widgets are translateable in the free version, but in fact, it’s only legacy widgets (not block widgets) that can be translated. To translate the rest, you need Pro.
As everything is moving to blocks these days, this means that in fact most widgets are NOT translateable in the free version.

Hello
My WordPress is installed at site.tld/support/. Currently I have my default language there. What I mean by this is that homeurl, siteurl is site.tld/support/.
I wish to have my additional language at the following path with Polylang: site.tld/en/support/ – one directory path below the wordpress installation.
site.tld/en/support/ folder, is just a symlink to site.tld/support/ so there should be no technical limitation.
In Polylang now, I can’t get it to work. How can I get this URL structure to work?
I can seemingly only get site.tld/support/en and site.tld/support/ to work but not site.tld/en/support/.

I never want to use WPML again, as it makes the website sooooo slow, and it is very buggy. For each installation I had to make several tickets with WPML “experts”. Polylang has less options, but is waaaay faster, more effici?nt and stable.
