It will not work, Their documentation is worthless. They do not respond to support requests and do not respond to refund requests.

I am working with Pootlepress pagebuilder for a long time (after woo canvas stopped) and I am very happy with it, untill I read this in wordprss.org:
This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress. It may no longer be maintained or supported and may have compatibility issues when used with more recent versions of WordPress.
I can see Jamie is busy with all kinds of projects, but hopefully he will not forget about excisting users of pootle pagebuilder pro and 18 tags pro.

I wanted something a bit lighter than the big name page builders, as I didn’t need all the extra bits they bundle in.
Really pleased with Pootle, it just seems more intuitive than others that I have tried.
Good service too, and no problems with the purchase. Thank you!

I like how this builder works. It’s very easy to use and you can do advanced pages without dealing with so many options.
The support is good too, they reply in a timely manner.

I am so happy I stumbled across this pagebuilder. There are many pagebuilders for WP these days, but I found it difficult to find an editor with just the right amount of features and functionality, without adding so many customization options that you cannot find the setting you need.
This page builder hits the sweet-spot, and I recommend to try out this page builder to anyone who is looking for an updated editor experience.

After hounding me for ages and offering a black Friday deal I finally bought a bundle from Pootlepress. I found the Woobuilder plugin quite good and thought their other plugins would be the same, I was wrong. It’s not a very good plugin and doesn’t work on headers or footers. After trying some of their other plugins and found them lacking I emailed support to see if I was missing something. After losing my first support request, they replied and told me bundles can’t be refunded. There are much better plugins out there and a lot of them are cheaper too.

Bought pootle press for a client site and he hated it. Cancelled auto renew and still got billed.
No return emails asking for support
After 10+ years of using WordPress this has been the worst experience ever.

No proper support.
No refunds.
No matter how dissatisfied you are with this product, YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND.
This and another Pootle Product came to around $90 just money down the drain.
Update:I have had an email from the author “If there’s anything we can do to help you remove your review please let us know ”
My answer: Product refunds are a part selling online. We will always refund unhappy customers because our reputation is more important than any refund.
It would seem that Pootlepress has a different business model.

Hello World,
I bought the eCommerce bundle less than a week ago, as I was a total newbie to WordPress and avoided it like the plague, but necessity forced me back.
I have very little money to spare as I’m self employed and have a family to support so spending 180.00AUD on some software that I couldn’t trial was always going to be a risk, but I took the plunge, otherwise nothing ever get’s achieved without some risk.
It does have a learning curve, and I’m still working out what is actually working, not working, or part of the package of plugins, but would like to say:
In three days of a bit of study, I have gone from zero to hero, and could never have believed I could create such pro results. I’m 53 and unless the surf is pumping, I don’t get too excited, but this got me excited, I can tell you that the quality of my ecommerce site will blow the other similar businesses around me out of the water.
As a bottom line newbies (like myself). YES!, there will be pain and frustration at first, but once you get the hang of it you will be overjoyed that your dream will come a reality.
Look, I know there are plenty of pro’s who may scoff at this, but for a newbie, I say give it a crack. You won’t be disappointed with the ecommerce bundle that comes packaged with page builder pro.
Regards,

I have been contacting them for 10 days to fix the technical issue about the two column function that doesn’t work, they just gave me excuse and more excuse that they don’t get the login to my site, however, i sent it to them 3 times and even it is on our email feeds.
I requested a refund as they have a 14-days refund statement on their website. They just refused and then ignore me!
It is totally a crap!!

I am totally regretting I purchased this. Money wasted and definitely no refund offer. That alone should’ve rang bells and whistles and in fact it did and I regret I didn’t take notice to gut feeling. Any company who does not offer a refund, say like a 30 day or even 7 days is not worth messing with.
Don’t buy this or their woo commerce plugin or you will regret shelling out the high cost. It does not work on “any theme” as they say it will. Save your money … there are too many other options and some are free that are better than this.

I bought this plugin full of hope, but noticed after testing and working with it half an hour that it is far from being worth of used money, i believed it could be good program and paid full license for unlimited sites.
Comparing to other page builders it’s like using Windows 3.11.
Drag & drop things is like so clumsy that i start hating it. Example beaver page builder do all same things and much much better for even free version.
NOTE! NOTE!
You will not get refund for your money. This should have ring my bells when i was buying to product. I had moment that i thought it but i went trough purchase. When you compete purchase you rest your right to refund for good.
And this might be only company which work like that, they say “the nature of downloadable products”, but it’s totally bs. They have synced license. When you install product you need sync your license. So they could just delete license and you would not be able to use program.
Not wonder anymore that their policy is no refund..
THINK, and think again before buying this product.
And if you do purchase, i bet you will regret it.

I bought this page builder module because the free option didn′t work with Woocommerce.
That′s why tried the full version, but I made a big mistake buying this software and a little compassion from this company is not known.
Used it no more than half a hour because there were too many problems with it, didn′t work correctly with different themes. I installed different themes, maybe it was a theme problem.
They claimed on website that′s working with all themes, so the theme was not a problem, but for 100% the buider.
But the most worst thing is that I didn′t like the whole module layout, how it was setup, the logics from it. There are much better ones. So there was not interest from me to fix the different problems.
So I sent an email and asked about refund. The only answer I got is “we don′t refund, if you have technical problems send a support ticket”. I only used and tried it for half a hour.
After sending several emails to Jamie he hasn′t guts to answer again. For sure he doesn′t like difficult questions and most of all, no questions about refunds.
We work for many years with Magento, Opencart and WordPress, but never had a company with customer service like Pootlepress company.
Developers who are looking for page builders, beware and look for companies who give better or normal support and answer their email correctly.
Not the software makes your company, but software with service and customer support, and that′s what′s this company totally missing.
The only intention from this company is to get the most money, if clients are not satisfied with their software, they don′t care about it.

God bless the person(s) who created Pootle Pagebuilder! I have tested out other popular page builders but I couldn’t get them to work for me. But Pootle is so simple and straightforward. Now I can finally get back to work on my website. Thanks Pootle Press!

I started using Pootle Pagebuilder again after reading Pippin Williamson’s review in which he concluded that
“If I was to use a page builder on one of my sites, Pootle Page Builder would be in the running for my top choice.”
I absolutely agree: it’s beautifully simple, uncluttered, and does exactly what a page builder should do, and without interfering with the design elements a theme would normally control. As such, it beings clarity and precision to page building ad makes the process simple and intuitive. I’m using it at the moment with Twenty Sixteen on a project that has very limited resources to spend on design and there result is beyond expectations.

After reading that Pippin Williamson put Pootle Pagebuilder in his top 3 WordPress pagebuilders I decided to give Pootle Pagebuilder a go.
I can see why it comes so highly recommended. I was building pages in minutes that would normally take days to construct. What’s even more incredibly, is the ability to position text to wherever I like over an image in a row. So now I can have pinpoint precision when designing my layouts. I haven’t seen that any other pagebuilder can do this and as a designer I absolutely love it. Add to that I can now add parallax backgrounds, video background and gradient backgrounds. Fantastic plugin!

As a designer I love the way i can build any layout i want with no need to get into code. The live editor is sooo lovely to use with a lovely simple clean UI. I’ve used other pagebuilders but Pootle Pagebuilder is lean and fast and perfect!

I love the live editor – great work. Has made building websites so much easier. I can see why Pippin put Pootle Pagebuilder in his top 3.

I’ve been using PootlePress plug-ins since 2014 when I purchased the original Page Builder for Canvas and I was a fan. I wish I could rate the new Page Builder Pro more highly but my experience of it since July 2016 has been a sorry tale of bug after bug and confusing support.
I purchased unlimited licenses for the Page Builder Pro plug-in back in July 2016, wanting to use it to build some websites which the end-users would be able to update easily, plus convert my existing website which use the now out of date Page Builder for Canvas. All the demo videos which had preceded the launch made it look super easy to use. Initially, all I wanted to do was create pages which had 4 columns each of which had a different colour scheme.
Unfortunately, my experience is of one bug after another. The latest bug, which the Pootlepress told me would be fixed in v3.5.0 wasn’t, neither was it fixed in v3.5.1 and I’m now told that it will be fixed within the next month. Unfortunately, it renders the plug-in almost unworkable if you need to use the text editor rather than just use the Live Edit facility.
First problem after upgrading was that, having upgraded to Pro, pages created in Live Edit didn’t display the rows when viewed in Firefox, but did when viewed in other browsers. Pootlepress support advised that this was a bug that they were fixing.
Next problem was that, having purchased unlimited licenses, I couldn’t get the upgrade to install on a site because my user e-mail address wasn’t the same as the e-mail address I’d used to purchase the licenses. After about a week of trying to sort the issue with Pootlepress support (which involved trying to install Page Builder Pro on at least 5 different sites), I was eventually put in touch with Freemius who look after the licensing for them and was told that there was a bug in the licensing system but they gave me a work round. Freemius were at pains to stress that it was a bug in their system not Pootlepress.
Once the multi-license installation issues were resolved, Page Builder Pro still didn’t work but after yet more to-ing & fro-ing with Pootlepress support it turned out that you need to activate one of the blog customizer, photography or Woocommerce plugins for the additional Page Builder Pro functionality to work – which isn’t mentioned anywhere in the documentation.
With that issue resolved, I started off simply, so I thought, with a need for a row containing 4 columns each containing the same amount of data both in shape and size, fully expecting the columns to be the same size – they weren’t. There were also problems with actually inserting images – different problems depending on which method of inserting was used. On 12 August 2016, I was told there would be a release to correct this within two weeks.?
I updated to v3.1.0 on 12 Sept 2016, deactivated all plug-ins except Page Builder Pro and found that the issues hadn’t been resolved. In addition, Live Edit was not working consistently in that ‘Update’ was hanging and the only way to get any progress was to leave the page and lose any changes that had been made. Instead of using Live Edit, I tried using Edit Page and then editing the Page Builder rows. This sometimes worked and sometimes didn’t. To ensure that the problem wasn’t being caused by plug-in or theme conflicts, I set up a clean site with nothing but 2016 Theme and Page Builder Pro installed and got the same results.
On 15 September, I was told that the problem was with the color picker and that there was a new update coming out the following week.
I updated to 3.5.0 on 23 September – but the issue had not fixed. I was told to stick to working in one view. What was really frustrating was that prior to the v3.1.0 update, I’d been able to edit either in Live Edit, Edit Page and in either the visual or text option without these problems.
Updated to 3.5.1 on 27 September – but the issue was still not fixed. I was told to edit text using Live Edit, not to go into any other view. I asked how I could deal with things like adding mail to links without going into the text editor and received no response.
On 28 Sept, I was told that the issues would be fixed in the next month.
Pootlepress support is confusing and they seem to ignore quite a lot of the information you give them.
There is a support forum but if you look at it a number of the posts have never been responded to by Pootlepress or the contributor has been asked to raise a support ticket. In order to raise a support ticket you have to log-in to your Pootlepress account. When you submit a support ticket from there, there’s a message saying that you will get an automatic acknowledgement – you don’t so you don’t know whether it has been received or not and there is no record in your Pootlepress account of any support tickets which have been submitted. When you do get a response from Pootlepress it is headed ‘Re: PootlePress Support ticket for:’ with nothing after the ‘for:’ . This means that if you have multiple issues it is really difficult to keep track of each one. Plus if you have been given a solution and want to revisit it you have to open up loads of e-mails to find the one you are looking for.
It used to be that you could see support tickets in your Pootlepress account but now all historic support tickets have disappeared.

I love this page builder, unfortunately have to give just one star, since for my multilingual site this was just a waste of time and I have to move to something else and build all the big content anew.
Trying to translate the content in PPB shows it is not reacting to the fact the site is multilingual, the plugin just doesn’t see the difference between the languages and keeps on displaying just the language that was edited last.
I’m using Storefront theme, BTW.
I’ll change my rating to 5 stars once it’s fixed.

We needed a page builder for our users to update and add pages to their websites. The page builder we needed has to be easy to use, versatile and quick. In our testing I searched the WordPress plugins and found a host of choices. I decided to test them on a clean install of WordPress to be give my self a fair test. We tried Beaverbuilder, Headway, Thrive Themes and other visual editor page builders. While most of these did well in my testing I found them difficult to use for end users.
I then stumbled across PootlePress Page Builder, Wow. Easy to use gives great layout control on live pages. It not only gives my clients great page control but also has reduced our website production time.
