I am using a PUA shortcode to popup extra information – however, Google’s Lighthouse Report Viewer is taking 8 points off SEO because “Links are not crawlable: Search engines may use?href?attributes on links to crawl websites. Ensure that the?href?attribute of anchor elements links to an appropriate destination, so more pages of the site can be discovered”., and showing this code:

I have solved this by replacing hyperlinks with spans, and styling the cursor and text to act like a hyperlink thus:

This is quite a big thing in industries with high competition, so you don’t want a marketing plugin that lowers your site in the SERPs due to a lower Lighthouse SEO score when all your competitors have a perfect Lighthouse score (Since making the above changes, I have 100 in every category on desktop and on mobile the same, except 96 Performance).

I’m having some problems with a recent update.

Our company website used to have a floating blue button with a picture of an envelope on it – this was done with some custom code that I’ll include below. When clicked, it would load the Popup Anything shortcode.

The button did disappear at first, but I’ve managed to get it to show up again. The problem that I’m facing now is when clicking the button, it no longer loads the Popup Anything.

The code came from a developer from 3+ years ago. I found where it’s placed, but have had troubles fixing it (even with ChatGPT).
When placing the shortcode on a random test page, it works and loads the popup without any issues.

Here is the code that should be loading the button:

Hi, If you look in the table, under Level 1, there should be popups in the “translation” column.
They do pop-up when logged in (as admin) but don’t show at all when not logged in

Hi! So I’m building a new webpage and I was very excited when I found this plugin – it works great! However, I have a problem that I don’t understand and don’t know how to fix.

So this is the webpage in question, https://allenrec.com/allen-ai-recruit/ all popups work good but the first one, I don’t know why, it doesn’t load and it is stuck in a white page. It is weird, because this doesn’t happen when I’m in “Preview” in wordpress, but it does in the ultimate public page.

I did change the order of the pop ups to troubleshoot a bit and to discover the issue, and it’s always the first popup of the page that follows this behaviour. So it’s not a problem with the content of the pop up in question, or its set up – as it completely works when it’s in the 2nd or other place, but it doesn’t when it’s the first.

Can someone help please? Thank you so much in advance!

We are currently using version 2.5 of the plugin. However, when attempting to update to the newer version, we encounter an issue where all popups lose their design. The applied CSS on the popups is no longer functioning after updating the plugin to the latest version.

Hi, i am trying to change text size and color in the simple link short code i have created.

I had 2 popups on a page and they used to work but suddenly they don’t. It’s not a site-wide problem because when I put the link to these popups on a ‘different’ page they work fine. It’s a basic call to the popup within simple HTML. There’s another link on same page to a form and that works ok. It’s driving me nuts.

The website runs under a language folder (/en/). The website has moved to a new server, but all URLs have (supposedly) remained the same. Now, when I try to create or save a popup, I get the message: “Error loading file: https://www.my-domain.com/page-sitemap.xml“. So, this URL is missing the language folder. But I don’t know how and where I can fix this.

• The sitemap is located at https://www.my-domain.com/en/page-sitemap.xml
• I have resaved the permalinks
• Rank-Math also shows the correct URL for the sitemap.xml

• So, how can I adjust the URL for popup anything?
• Or can I completely exclude the popups from the sitemap? They don’t need to be in there.

Your latest update is causing huge trouble as it is removing all the javascripts we added into the content via admin. We have certain popups which contains Hubspot form code. This Hubspot form code contain script URL and custom script to load the form dynamically from the Hubspot server. This was working fine till 2.6. After todays update, the script code seems filtered, so all the script properties are getting removed. For example, try to include

<script charset="utf-8" type="text/javascript" src="https://js.hsforms.net/forms/embed/v2.js"></script>

or some other similar scripts or functions via

<script></script>

in the popup content. If you check in the frontend, this script wont be there in the popup, it seems filtered and removed as mentioned above. I think many people use this to bring dynamic forms to the website from Hubspot, Jotforms etc. Please fix this asap. Waiting for your response.

I’m using a popup to display a form and it is currently closing after I submit it so I’m losing the submission status. I see the status when I re-open the popup. Is there a way I can keep the popup open after I submit the form?

I added a Pop up on the VIEW FAQS on our page, I added some Custom CSS so it would fit the theme of the page, I encountered some issue when using an actual mobile phone the pop-up won’t close and wont display correctly. IT’s working on Desktop and used inspect element, but wont work when you use an actual phone

Steps to reproduce    :  Go the browser stack->Choose IPAD->Check in landscape  mode.
