This plugin is working but it hasn’t been updated in awhile. Is it safe to use it?

I am using Elementor Pro and have built a loop item at bottom of above page. I want to use the dynamic tags to show a different popup for each post item. but the trigger urls are not working with dynamic tags.

any ideas?

Will this plugin continue to be maintained or has it been abandoned? Wordfence has flagged it for not receiving an update in the last 2 years and the repository has flagged it for not being tested with the last three major updates. But also see you have responded to support requests within that time. Just curious about the future of this plugin.

You can use code 5044 to access the page. The popup should execute when you load the page based on the URL – but it is no longer loading. HELP…

Hello support, I’ve been using the popup trigger since August 2021.
I set up a members’ area on https://wcf.de/en/ and used an icon and a menu link to log in.
I used the trigger url and it still works on this site.
But there are 2 more pages (folders in a multiside installation): https://wcf.de/de/ and https://wcf.de/fr/.
I also used the same link there in the form https://wcf.de/en/”triggerurl”.
This also worked until a few days ago (unfortunately I can’t narrow it down exactly) without any problems. I set it up so that the page https://wcf.de/en/ opened in a new tab and the popup appeared too.
Now it is the case with the pages https://wcf.de/de/ and https://wcf.de/fr/ that although the website https://wcf.de/en/ opens in a new tab, but the popup does not appear.
It appears when you click on the icon with the login symbol on the page or in the menu -> Information on Members Area.

By error, I inserted a “close” button in my popup, with the final close (do not display anymore) URL.
I used it once only, and since then, I cannot open this popup anymore, whatever modification I make (including removing this button).
Oddly, I could open it in a different browser, but just once.

This popup is dead.

Hi team. Love this awesome plug in but when I log into this page and click on the page anywhere for the first time, every time I visit the page, a pop up appears and id like this to only happen when people click on the icon under the wording FIND OUT MORE… Hope this can be fixed and this makes sense. Again awesome plug in!!

I have almost tried every combination possible, however, it seems Elementor popup builder does not support show once per session or per day.

Does anyone have a workaround for this?

No matter what I do, the popup is triggered on click of all menu items. I followed step by step and still same result. Using the latest Elementor Pro.

I am using Woodmart Theme and want the bottom navigation bar on mobile screen to trigger the popup. I pasted the #elemento…. URL from your plugin, but nothing happens by clicking it.

with the inspector I saw, that the code is pasted like this:

Is there a way to make it trigger with the url in front of it? Because this comes by default.

I updated Elementor to 3.1.4 and Elementor Pro to 3.2.1, but this plugin stopped to function on my site. I use together with the “Make colum clickable Elementor” plugin.

I have added the popup URL into the program template I have created. However, it doesn’t seem to be working –

this is the code I have entered into the HTML editor.

I’m using Essential Grid and want to have a button that activates the popup – however after adding the link to the button it will not popup. If I then refresh the page the popup will come up – if you could help me, that would be great.

I have a problem using Popup Trigger URL for Elementor Pro with WPML.

I use the popup generated link in a menu item. It works fine with the primary language (english), the popup launches on click, but not with the secondary language (french). A click on the menu item in the french menu does nothing, not even a javascript error in the console.
For information : the popup is translated. I also tried to create a different popup for french but it doesn’t work either. In fact, it works but in this case, it is the popup in english that doesn’t work anymore.

I have a website where I don’t need to use the plugin anymore, but I noticed that after deactivating and removing the plugin, whenever I hover over an image that opens a popup I can still see the #elementor-action… link, even if the popup was created afterwards. Would it be possible to remove these <a> tags completely? Thank you!

I guess this is abandonware now, since it’s not been updated, no support, and it’s not working anymore..

I am using the Document Embedder plugin with the Post Tables Pro plugin to display a document library. So I want the popup to display the embedded document in a popup window rather than it’s own page, so they stay on the library page. Is there a way to do this with a dynamic popup link to call each document id, rather than creating a PopUp template for each and every document that I need to be able to preview?

Right now I have to create a separate popup template for each document and put the shortcode for document embedder in the popup template. There are hundreds of documents. So this seems like overkill.

I’ve copied the text from Show URL button into a download icon button from an mp3 player plugin. For the download they require an URL.

There are 2 popups on the product pages in red text that until recently have been working fine with this plugin which was a great help to get elementor popups to appear on click.

but for some reason recently the links for these popups have all broken and now none of my popups appear which is really annoying. nothing was done to trigger these broken links. there are 350 product pages with these broken links now – why did the link break of it’s own accord?

i need to know how to revert back to the working state of these links because replacing over a thousand popup links will take ages with new links from the plugin.

My pop up is not showing when I click on the link. However, when I paste the ‘open’ link attached to my URL it works.

I have the pop up to show only on mobile. See the link I shared and it works perfectly on mobile. Not sure why when I paste the link into a button it doesn’t open when clicked. I have the display condition set to Entire Site.

The popup only displays when triggered (by 2 clicks), but won’t display when the link is clicked.

“Want to download the full guide? Click here!” ?? this is supposed to trigger the popup…but it does not.

Display conditions are set up for it to work on this page.

I’m looking to use GA to create and track my conversion funnel, one part of which is my popup in elementor. GA needs specific URLs for each step to be able to track and create this.

Is there a way the format of the trigger URL this plugin generates could be tweaked to create a standard URL that you could paste in to a web browser to open up the popup?

Just giving notice that as of the most recent Elementor version (2.9.11), toggling a popup while this plugin is active will not work. This seems to not only apply to using the url but even the elementor buttons. The issue goes away when the plugin is disabled.

I have a Start button in the footer that opens a Popup Menu that includes a WP Menu with custom Popup menu items. It works fine on the desktop but not on a mobile, Android Pixel 2XL, using the Chrome browser. The menu pops up but none of the popup menu items work on a mobile phone. It does work using Brave on my mobile, so weird right!

I have a Popup, created via a WordPress template, that I’d like to trigger to open using a button embedded on a podcast player called fusebox.fm. Their player lets you specify a bit of html or JavaScript to trigger the popup. Could anyone advise on the right bit of html or JavaScript code to trigger the popup using the popup trigger url?
