Any chance for a general update to this great plugin.

Some security software is flagging this plugin as “abandoned” and not listed as working with the latest version of wordpress 6.4.3 or with php 8

Would love to put my clients mind at ease that this plugin still works with their version of wordpress (it currently seems to work fine) and clear the warning flag from their security software scans.

The content from the original page shows I had to fix this for one landing page that was getting a duplicate content tag by adding a redirect rule back to the original page.

eg example.com/portfolio1

is the same content as example.com/portfolio1/portfolio-categories/anything

I looked through the settings, and there isn’t a way to turn this off in the portfolio section. The intended purpose is not to have the content shown from the original page, which is why I feel It is a bug.?

I can’t seem to figure out how to make a portfolio page display only one category/section id/custom post type/whatever. I’ve tried assigning “Section IDs” and “Section Numbers” to specific portfolios, corresponding with names of portfolio categories and yet it displays all portfolio items, regardless of the category assigned to the portfolio item and the section id assigned to the portfolio group. How do I make my Graphic Design page only display items that have the “graphic design” category assigned to them?

I have seen other questions about this and thought I could add the solution I found.
Translations are handled via a .pot file. You can edit it with the Poedit program that will generate a .mo file. The file will be taken into account if you change the WP language.
Translations files already exist for Swedish and Portuguese.
If anyone has figured out how to handle multiple languages, you can add it to this post!

Is there any way to change the “portfolio” slug to something else? I’m using a Genesis Child Theme and I’d like to use the portfolio feature in a different way. When I change the slug of the page to something else, the portfolio disappears and it becomes a “regular” page.

How do I change the slug to a word other than portfolio?

I can see in GitHub there is code to alter the slug and label for the post type and you mention that “You’d likely want to do something similar with the labels for portfolio tag and portfolio category taxonomies as well.” I’ve attempted to do this based on what’s shown for the post type, but my attempts are failing. Can you share these snippets for changing labels in categories and tags? I would use this plugin on many more sites if I could do this easily. Thanks for creating a great plugin for the community.

Hello: I have installed this plugin and when i add new portfolio item, there is no image gallery.
I only have a featured image but i need the image gallery box in order to add images for the proyect and to be able to show them in the portfolio item page
Is there any option to add the image gallery box to the edit portfolio item page?

My site has two languages and for that I use the Polylang pligin, but it is not working with this plugin, does anyone know a way to make the two integrate?

I installed this plugin because “Livemesh Addons for Elementor” requires it to use with their post-grid module as a portfolio.

When installed, it creates a “Portfolio” menu item in WordPress admin, and when creating a Portfolio post, it provides the option to use the WordPress block editor or the Classic WordPress editor (if installed), but it does not show the Elementor button editor.

So I am asking, is this plugin compatible with Elementor, so we can create a Portfolio post using the Elementor page builder?

I have a problem with the plugin, on my local host with a version of php 4.6.4 I have no problem, but on the host with a version php 7.3 it does not show me the dashboard and wordpress always sends me an email alert showing this error :

When updating from PHP 7.1 to PHP 7.2 my website is not correctly loading as it is supposed to be. Is there a conflict with my theme or what can be the problem here? When going to PHP 7.1 it loads just fine.

I am migrating an existing site with multiple galleries to portfolio post type, Each gallery (and therfore each portfolio item) will have around 70 images. I want these to display as masonry format, so I need to use the “column” portfolio item format. The problem is, this way I need to attach each image one-at-a-time.
Is there a way for me to select MULTIPLE images and attach them to a portfolio item at the same time? Otherwise I am stuck with adding around 500 images one at a time.

Got a notification that this plugin is causing a fatal error. Curious to know why and if there is an update needed.

Is there a way to make images unpinnable? I can make the images unpinnable inside each portfolio item, but when you’re on the main page (with all the images and categories), all of those images become pinnable. Is there a way around this?

I’m successfully using your plugin since several years in a personnal website currently based on WordPress 4.7.12.
I’d like to create a new website based on WordPress 5.0.2.
Problem: when I create a portfolio, the Parameters and Options are not displayed when unfolding this section.
Consequently, I cannot set the portfolio Item Type to Columned.

Does it mean that your plugin is not compatible with WordPress 5.0.2, or is there something wrong in my installation ?
