I tried a few different portfolio display plugins and I picked Portfolio X mostly because I liked the way it displays the portfolio. There are 2 different layouts but I think template 01 is pretty slick.

I just want to say Portfolio X Pro has been a game changer for my website! I am not a coder and I have only been using WordPress for about a year so I had some dificulty at start. So I emailed support and they got right back to me. Then we went back and forth with questions I had and they sent me the custom CSS code I needed to fix my issues. These guys go above and beyond! I would recommend this product to anyone making a portfolio site.

Been look’n for a “gallery” / “portfolio” style plugin for some time, there are a ton of them .. some worked, either didn’t like the visuals and they clashed with my install (didn’t play nicely with others ?? ).
Then I found Portfolio X, not through the WP repository but via GG search, bought it (very reasonable!), installed it, and works like a charm. Really love the simplicity and setup. Lot’s of templates to choose from (I chose #1).
Could improve the help section – didn’t understand how “showcase” works but hit up their support desk and they responded immediately. Thanks guys – keep up the awesome work!!
