Problem: 2 diiferent pages that’re using “Post Grid and Filter Ultimate” messed up together

This “China to Japan” post, I want it to be appeared on another page called “Case Studies”, not on “Logistics Blog” page. It’s messed up, what to do to not let posts from 2 different pages messed up together?

Please help with solving this problem, I don’t want to switch to another plugin.

I’d really like to buy the Pro Version of this Plugin, but while testing the free version, I do not get the filters to work. I click on a button and nothing happens.

I found the topic on filters not working in this forum and already deleted the code refering to ImagesLoades in pga-public.js, but unfortunately, this did not solve the issue.

As the page we’re trying this on is still staging and not visible to public, I could provide you log-in-credentials if necessary.

We love the plugin, but the filtering functionality is no longer working on our site. I have dropped just the regular filter shortcode on the testing page above with no options [pgaf_post_filter] and clicking on any category does not filter any more.

I can’t see any errors in console?

We are running wordpress version 6.4.3, and your plugin version 1.7

Can the layout be changed to same height rows instead masonry?

Would you consider changing from using float to CSS Flexbox or CSS Grid?

Hi, may I ask is there a shortcode to order my displayed category in a specific pattern? I’ve tried to fill in term id like : [pgaf_post_filter cat_orderby=”13,67,78″], but it doesn’t work, the displayed category is still out of order. Thanks!

My website https://www.wegvanwandelen.nl contains walking routes that I blog about. The routes are shown in a post grid for each province. The distance is shown after the title of the message. I would like to see this distance under the title in the form of the walker icon with the distance behind it, such as on the site https://www.friesland.nl/nl/plans/zien-en-doen/activities/ 1000 routes Who knows how I should do that? Does that have to be done with CSS or is there another (easy) way?
I use Theme Customify and the Plugin Post Grid and Filter Ultimate from EssentialPlugin. I use the grid now for 2,5 years, but can’t find out how to add an icon to the grid.

I hope someone can explain me how to do this. I have no experience with CSS whatsoever.

Hi! Is the Post grid and filter ultimate Multisite (WP Network) compatible? The Filter is not working on a sub-domain in my multisite.
It is working just fine with my custom settings on a single WordPress install.

Is it possible to display the category filter by Category Name in Custom Order instead of just the “name” in the below-mentioned shortcode?

/shortcode : [pgaf_post_filter cat_orderby=”name” ] /

for example :
Let’s say that there are 4 categories like
Upcoming[category_id=1]
Ongoing[category_id=2]
Completed[category_id=3]
Special[category_id=4]

Default result order: [Completed][Ongoing][Special][Upcoming]
Expected result order: [Ongoing][Upcoming][Completed][Special]

By default the plugin filters by category_name. But how would I display them in custom order of category_name. Is there any possibility to achieve this?

I think, [pgaf_post_filter cat_orderby_catnames=”catname2,catname3,catname1,etc…” ] would be a better option to do that.

First of all thank you for a great plugin. I’ve been using it to my total satisfaction. I’ve given a five star rating to your plugin 1.5 years ago.

Today I am facing an issue with the pgaf_post_filter masonry layout. There are strange gaps in the layout. These same gaps are not caused by title lengths, because they are not happening in any other language. See the page I linked where the issue is pretty obvious.

Could you kindly help me understand the cause of this behavior, and how to fix it?

Is there a way to set the grid items to be equal height (so they all align, regardless of the content in them) rather than “masonry”? The current options don’t allow a true “grid” layout that I can see.

The current shortcode doesn’t allow us to do so:

I’ve just been trying to work out why some of my posts are not showing in any of the filters and found the answer.

If a post is added to more than one Category it will not be displayed.

Is there a workaround for this?

The post titles when using the Post Filter are not showing the whole title – it is cut off on some longer titled posts.

I love this plugin so far, but the filters display off center from the grid. (they align to the right, while the post grid is centered) It appears this way on all devices–but it’s the MOST noticeable when on mobile. If I change the margins to center the filters, the post grid changes with it and then my problem shifts to the grid being off-center.

The filter buttons are working as expected, except on the Spanish page of the site. The console log between English (working) and Spanish (not working) is exactly the same. There is no difference as far as I can tell between Spanish and other languages, and I have no idea why it would work elsewhere and not in Spanish.

Can you help?

First of all: thank you for this awesome plugin! We hope you could help us learn how to use this.

We have started a new website, with 3 posts to test, the classic widget + classic editor plugin and your amazing plugin set up.

We have a page with the shortcode [pgaf_post_filter grid="3" order="Rand" show_author="false" show_date="false"]

The documentation shows the option for posts to order random. But if we refresh the page the order of our posts is the same, every refresh or hard refresh it stays the same.

Did we maybe mess up the code or can you give another tip?

Also for desktop with Twenty Twenty-One theme active, the div pgafu-filter-wrp is never wider than 600px. Is there a setting somewhere to make it wider for desktop on full screen browsers maybe? We don’t have a sidebar so there is a lot of whitespace left and right.

First of all, let me tell you that I’ve looked for entire days for a plugin like this one and I’m really happy of it since other ones were rubbish and had a lot of mobile issues. I’m currently using this plugin at https://www.workingitaly.it but as you can see in the homepage, the pgaf_post_filter has an issue with the “cat_limit” attribute. Even if I set 10, it keeps showing me all articles. This is going to be an issue soon when my blog will have a lot of articles.
Is it possible to fix it?
This is the shortcode generated directly using the block in the page editor (no luck also using the shortcode generated in plugin section, in wp-admin)
