App is very useful and fixes problems with default WP email delivery – I’ve used the app for many years now. Had a problem, unrelated to the app in the end, but with my email provider. Support provided by Aqib Khan was excellent, both friendly and very prompt. They were pleased to help.

I’ve used other plugins for SMTP and other email sending services before, and Post SMTP seems to have all of the main features of the other plugins, and more. It was easy to set up and I appreciate that I can view the email log without having to pay for a premium license. I used it with Sendgrid and it worked flawlessly!
I found out about this plugin working on another website and when cloning to a local server, I received a very useful email that Post SMTP could not deliver to the “live” email address. I think that’s also a very useful feature for developers, and especially agencies who have multiple developers!

This plugin has advanced settings for any SMTP needs and has an excellent setup wizard. This plugin is installed on every one of my WordPress sites from the start.

Used to be the best! As a web developer, I was using this for ALL my clients (huge mistake)
They do keep updating and its not feasible to check before each update. Anyways, after the latest update, the sites seemed fine so I updated it for all my clients. IT BROKE THE SMPT EMAIL sending. The main one job it had! THOUSANDS OF EMAILS not sent (2 clients have ecommerce stores). Not sure what they did but smtp over TLS and SSL suddenly broke ??

Setting the wizard and logging is quite useful. If there is a mistake with a port or security, analyzing the open ports against the hostname is superb. I was working in a local environment, and that feature helped me debug the ports and firewall.

No entiendo como www.ads-software.com dejan que se instalen este tipo de aplicaciones.
I configured the application to make it work with Google’s API key and they took advantage of it to send emails with my address, without my consent, to companies with spam messages selling products and services. I don’t understand how www.ads-software.com allows these types of applications to be installed.
