Need help with Event Media – I followed the instructions here: https://posttimeline.com/docs/how-to-create-a-gallery-or-video-timeline/ selected media type: Gallery Images, added the images but they are not showing up on the site. I’ve encountered an issue where the images on my website aren’t loading, despite having the Display Post Images setting enabled. I’ve taken steps to troubleshoot, such as clearing my cache and deactivating other plugins for testing purposes, but unfortunately, the problem persists. I’ve noticed in the free version, that all posts are on the left side, not left and right. I’m doing a historical timeline so there’s about one post every five years. Is there any way to make the posts show on both sides of the timeline (one after the other)?

I would like to avoid create post timeline entries and just refer to actual posts I have, where I have added a category to them to be used.

I read in instructions that I could use this format:
[post-timeline ptl-post-type=”post” category_id=”91″]
Which sort of works.
However the Read-more link to the actual post gives a error because it always puts an additional “post-timeline/” in the url before the page name.

I tried the permalink refresh for file not found but that didn’t do it. It really seems that using ptl-post-type=”post” doesn’t know it is not a post-timeline entry. Any ideas?

Is it possible to show the navigation with titles of posts which will be shown in a widget in sidebar. I mean the timeline will show up in the main container and one can navigate to different stories in timeline by clicking on the titles on the right/left side widget containing the navigation titles.

Latest plugin update eliminated the functionality to include URLs in post timelines. Post editor still allows it, obviously, but if you include one URL in a post timeline, nothing is shown when the timeline renders.

Seems to be on every admin page.

Hi,

I’ve been playing around the plugin and it’s somewhat very user-friendly and easy to use. I do notice an issue, where the “Description” field is somewhat misplaced on the timeline except for the first post.

As you can see from the URL I provided, the first item in the timeline has the description placed correctly, but the second and third item’s descriptions were placed at the bottom of the panel and had the wrong font color.

Anyway to go around this?

I use Post TImelines 2.1.1 and I like it, thank you very much.

however as soon as I update to version 2.1.4 it all breaks; it turns to black and white in stead of my theme colors, it is no longer ordered. Basically all layout is gone.
How to fix this?

Now i use a pageloader, so it does not look so bad.

I’m trying your plugin and I think it’s great!
Since I don’t need images is there a way to hide that part on every post? I suppose it’s possible via CSS but I’m not good at that.
Would it be possibile to hide the “Read more” button too? I see the option but it doesn’t work, is it a PRO feature?

Hello,

I realized that the title tag of each post is automatically set to H1.
It creates multiples posts with H1 tag, which is not optimized for SEO.

Is there a way to change all title tags to H3?

I’m using an advance date plugin to change the date to past years, in some cases decades ago. Here’s the problem, on the timeline, it shows the actual publish date. I was wondering how I could hide the date on the timeline. I’ve been poking around the style sheets but can’t seem to find the appropriate class.

For example, if I change the publish date to say, May 3, 1973, it will show May 3, 2018 on the timeline, but show the old date on the post.
