I installed WordPress as Git submodule so the path to wp-admin is /wordpress/wp-admin. This breaks the plugin. It’s hard coded on that path.
The plugin isn’t maintained anymore. I can pickup the maintenance, but than I need access to this plugin. Does anyone now how to contact Joel Starnes? The url provided in the description (https://joelstarnes.co.uk/contact) doesn’t work.
]]>Why are there so many draft posts in my blog, and what is a fast way to get rid of them? I am not seeing them in my regular posts as auto draft, and only in post mash. Is there a fast way to delete these? The only way to delete is to click edit, and then select trash for each individual post.
]]>After sorting a large category of posts, I noticed that the order of other posts in my overall post order had changed, and I mean major changes.
I guess this is what happens over time when a plugin is not updated. But it does change the order within categories, lol.
]]>I had been using Custom Category Post order with great success, but then it stopped working, as did everything else I tried… My Post Order, Q2W3 Post Order, Custom Post Order etc… So I thought I’d try one of these older guys.

PostMash did not work either.
You need to add code to your template php files (index.php, category.php etc.) with this one for it to work, but that did the trick. Now I can have custome post orders by category, with posts that share categories having individual orders in each category… Yes!

]]>The Autonav plugin now supports ordering posts with PostMash. For example, the invocation:
[autonav display="posts,image" postid="category:dessert" count=10 orderby="postmash" order="asc"]
would display a table of thumbnails, of the top ten posts in the dessert category, as ordered by PostMash. The thumbnails would link to the full size featured image for that post; if you would like a link to the posts themselves, make it display="posts" omitting the ,image

Unfortunately, doesn’t seem to work with 3.01 – the post mash page displays everything fine, but you can’t drag and drop.
]]>A great feature addition this this plugin would be ‘enable per post-type’. So say if I’ve got a special ‘wiki’ post type for my wiki pages, which is the only type of page I care to change the default order of, I could enable postMash just for this type and leave the rest of my posts to the default settings.
