Hi,
The plugin works great but there is no .co.uk domain included in the list.
Is this something that can be added ?
Also how do we change the amount of domains shown ?
]]>Your domain checker works great, this is ALL I wanted, to show available or not, nothing else..
An improvement on the checker would be to remove the root of the domain. Example: if I check hostingmaster.com with the auto setting to .com, I get the result of available. If the .com is removed (as your script expects) then of course it is not available.
I suggest either: 1) removing anything past the dot automatically, checking the domain resulting, and then displaying the updated domain without root. or 2) if a dot is in the domain, giving a red error message to the user to correct his input and try again.
Again, very please with this, I was iframing tucows and they started redirecting my clients to their cheapy registry provider when I’m their reseller.. not good.
]]>Hi @powiet,
I translated to Spanish the readme files of ?Powie’s WHOIS? and also the .po file using for the setting page. But this last strings are not listing on www.ads-software.com repository. I think the reason is the text domain. I verfied the files of the plugin and find the text domain you used: pwhois, but you must to change it to the slug of the plugin: powies-whois. This is the method WordPress uses to autodetect the text domain for plugins and themes.
I also wanted to suggest you change some strings for better undestanding:
I can fix the strings if you want, just tell me and will be a pleasure to do it.?
]]>Where are the shortcodes ?
]]>I am having trouble getting this to show anything on my page via shortcode.
I note the instruction to “Check if you have set Output strings on the settings page of the plugin” which I have done.
Any help would be appreciated.

]]>Hi,
I’ve tried adding .com.au to the search list and had a look at this site: https://www.domaininformation.de/whoisserver_list.html but when adding both whois.aunic.net and whois.apnic.net like you have the others setup I’m getting the following error:
Error: No appropriate Whois server found for asdfasdf.net.au domain!
I have also tried: whois.ausregistry.net but get the same error?
Can you please let me know what I need to add to be able to search for .com.au domains?
Cheers!
]]>Hi PowieT,

]]>Hi,
Your whois-checker is working for the most extensions, but not for .nl. All (fake) names I try are all taken. Seems like a bug to me.
]]>Hi,
will it possible to use a text field instead of select? Soon we will have 800 domains so it will be terrible to search for a domain.
Hallo,
w?re es m?glich ein Textfeld anstatt ein Dropdown für die Suche zu verwenden? Bald gibt es 800 Domainendungen was eine Domainsucher erschweren würde.
]]>Hi Powie,
I have installed your plugin. When I try to test, it just keeps seerching. Doesnt gives any respond.
Also on debug mode, it gives this error.
Notice: Uninitialized string offset: 0 in .... \powies-whois\powies-whois.php on line 58
This is a great tool. Can you repair?
Thanks.
