The following is the resultant, broken html:

Even if i simplify it to:
max-width: 768px

I get this and it still triggers on desktop:

<link  rel="preload" as="image" type="image/webp" media="max-width:768px">

So something is broken. Any suggestions?

Hi. On my WordPress updates page, it says: “You have version 1.8.14 installed. Update to 1.8.15. Compatibility with WordPress 6.2.2: Unknown“. But in the changelog for 1.8.15 it says “updated to ensure compatibility with WP 6.3+”. This does not make sense. Is 1.8.15. compatible with WordPress 6.2.2?

When I set a page to be excluded from caching by WP Rocket, Pre* Party also prefetching also doesn’t work on that page. In Chrome console, I see autofetching is at work, loading pages that are linked, but when I actually click on the link to the pages, they are as slow as without autofetching. I think somehow the exclusion by WP rocket also affects the way Pre* Party works. Any thoughts on how to resolve this? Thanks

Hi, lovely plugin. Is there a code snippet or some other way to ensure that the “auto prefetch” function or the entire plugin is disabled for admins only? (for testing purposes, I’d like these off sometimes or all the time when I’m logged in for admin)

I see some people talking about pro below. But I can’t find it. This is a good plugin.

Anyway, after installing it, I noticed in Google Chrome console that admin-ajax is loaded up to proconnect to sites designated in the plugin after a page completely loads. But after a while (or maybe after I disabled Redis object caching briefly), I don’t see it any more. How can I check the plugin is still working normally?

I also have some suggestions for prefetch functions. It’s a great part of the plugin. I’m switching to this after using Flying Pages.

But I’d like to suggest adding an option that makes prefecthing still occur if the mouse cursover is over a link even if that link contains a word in the list of words excluded from being prefetched. I want people to still enjoy that mouse-over function even though I don’t want certain links to be preloaded.

I’m in the middle of vetting about 60 plugins for a 9,000-page site.

I check the Fully loaded time” on GTMtrix after activating each plugin one at a time – clearing the Cloudflare cache and then running the speed test.

The free version garnered negative .5 secs (I’m on a $300/mo cloud server)

I paid my 9 bucks installed the pro version flushed the cache hit re-test and end up at 23.1 seconds – formally 8.5 – all on Android

It’s been a while now that i cannot add resource hints through this plugin. All the resource hints i had are there but i cannot add new ones. I have the js file “wp-content/plugins/pre-party-browser-hints/js/find-external-domains.js” excluded from all the cache plugins that i use. WP-Rocket, Autoptimize Asset Clean up, Cloudfare, Async JS. I have tried everything and i no longer know what to do.

The error i get is this:

“Failed to create hint. If you have an active caching system, it is recommended that you clear your cache if you are having difficulty viewing these changes.”

Thank you for this awesome plugin.

I’ve had issues with the cache enabler plugin when installing it. I’ve removed the plugin and then had to remove and install again pre party.

Since I’ve done that, the cross origin option is unavailable and I can’t edit or delete hints. PageSpeed Insights gives me the warning that cross origin is not there too on some attributes.

Has this happened before? Do you know a way around it?
