This plugin 1.0 does not work with WP 4.2.2.
The error in french is
Cette extension ne dispose pas d’un en-tête valide.
This extension has no valid header would be a rough translation in english.
]]>On hitting “Connect Your Blog to dropbox” button in wordpress settings page gives this error: The request to link the app is invalid.
]]>Wehen activating the plugin I get the message:
“The plugin does not have a valid header.”
When I hit back I read:
“Plugin install failed.”
So it’s pretty broken ??
So please update
]]>gets rejected from dropbox. No connection possible.
]]>Hi there,
I just installed this plugin for use with WordPress Version 3.4.1 and it doesn’t appear on the new media integration page. I integrated the app keys and everything should be fine.
There maybe some updated code needed?
Best,
Thomas
This plugin has not been updated for over a year although it says that it is “Under heavy developement”. Only one version was ever made in 2011.
Errpr upon install: The plugin does not have a valid header.
]]>Pressbox plugin in 3.3.x complains about invalid header.
solution: edit the plugin and delete the top blank line below <?php
and above /*
update the plugin and then go active it from the inactive list.
enjoy
]]>This plugin is exactly what I need! Unfortunately, I cannot get it working. When trying to connect it to Dropbox, the DB page tells me “The request to link the app is invalid.”
cURL is installed, so OAuth should be working.
Is this plugin still being developed?
Help is very much appreciated!
I wanted to write something alike a while ago but I saw Dropbox only allowed mobile apps to have an API key. Has this changed?
]]>Thumbnails won’t show up, and attempting to insert an image results in a redirect to a 404 error. Only the option to hotlink content is available, making this useless for visitors coming from companies that have added Dropbox to their filters for security issues.
Has some potential but needs a lot of work.
]]>Great idea for a plugin, you don’t mention though if these photos are being hotlinked from Dropbox or transferred over. I think the best approach would be to allow easy uploads of these images so they can be embedded locally, primarily because DropBox places a cap on how often you can link the images, and many companies have blacklisted them as well as a security risk, meaning any visitor using a work PC at one of these companies would see a page filled with broken image links.
If the plugin allows for direct uploads right there on the post page I’ll download it in a heartbeat!
