I ran a compatibility test on my client’s website and this plugin threw some errors. Both errors were Extension ‘cpdf’ is removed since PHP 5.1; Use pecl/pdflib instead

I assume this is a ghost and really doesn’t matter.

After WordPress was updated to 6.7, numerous plugins experienced the error below related to translations, many of which have already been fixed.

Notice: Function _load_textdomain_just_in_time was called incorrectly. Translation loading for the print-invoices-packing-slip-labels-for-woocommerce domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Translations should be loaded at the init action or later. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. When I try to change the date format using the code:

PDF invoice not generating

After clicking the ‘Generate PDF’ button for invoices, nothing happens. I’ve checked settings, reinstalled the plugin, and even increased memory limits, but PDFs won’t generate.

Could this be due to a compatibility issue with my theme or server configuration?

Hi,

I already had the blank PDF issue when downloading it (the printing is OK). So, I have installed the “mPDF addon for PDF Invoices” version 1.2.3, as suggested in this thread. And it worked. But there is still a table format issue (check this image, compared to what it is expected).

I decided to tackle the table format issue after a while.

I updated the plugin to the latest version 4.7.1.

I played around with the PDF library option (changing between Dompdf and Mpdf). Also I decided to replace the company name by the company logo.
And now I’m back to downloading a blank PDF invoice, even with the Mpdf selected and installed. The printing is still working as always.

Also, the SKU text is not translated to UGS automatically as it is done for the other texts (translated to French without my intervention).

Please help!

Just to understand: why the need to use an extra addon to be able to download a working PDF (not a blank one)? It is needed for French?

Question Description:
Display custom product images in the invoice.

In my WooCommerce order, there is a field that stores a custom image URL (custom_image), and this field contains a unique image link for each product. However, the invoice currently displays the default WooCommerce product image. I would like to replace the product image in the invoice with the custom_image URL using PHP code.

Could you recommend a PHP code solution that allows me to dynamically replace the product image in the PDF invoice with the URL from custom_image?

About a few months ago the INVOICES stopped printing. So what I mean is when I click on PRINT INVOICE, It generates a PREVIEW only. I have to exit out then CLICK ON PRINT INVOICE a second time THEN it GENERATES DOCUMENT and I am able to print. I have reported this to GoDaddy. They tried to fix it and can’t. Were you aware of this issue? I just did the new update hoping that would fix it, but it DID NOT.

Invoices have the wrong currency

Hello, I have two questions.

In the last two days, I have noticed that when we print the invoices with this plugin, the currency is different from the order. For example, the customer paid 10$ but when I print the invoice it states 10￡.

I noticed that when I switch the currency on my homepage, then the currency of the invoice changes to whatever currency is selected on the home page of the website. This seems odd, as I would imagine that the invoice is generated from the order in Woo. The currency switcher plugin is “FOX – Currency Switcher Professional for WooCommerce” but I cant imagine that this would be the reason for the problem.

I mentioned that I have two questions. The second question is about the paid version of this plugin. I want to buy the premium version, but as far as I understand, it is not possible to make a proforma invoice with a custom item. The only option is to add a SKU of a product. Has this changed recently? Is there a work around somehow?

I am using your “WooCommerce PDF Invoices, Packing Slips, Delivery Notes and Shipping Labels” plugin on our website, which is primarily in Georgian. While the plugin works well in general, we’ve encountered an issue with the Georgian Unicode. When a user purchases a product, the PDF invoice is generated, but the tab titles like “Products” and “Quantity,” which are translated into Georgian, appear as “?????” instead of displaying the correct Georgian characters.

Could you please update your plugin to ensure compatibility with Georgian Unicode? This would greatly improve the user experience for our customers.
