Hello i Know that there’s alredy the option to hide the code on the product page , but when i use the short code to place the code it does not hide if there is no product reference
Hi,
I’m running into issues when trying to import product codes from a csv file using WP All Import.
I am importing into a custom field ‘_product_code’.
For simple products, the item code refuses to be imported, it just displays ‘N/A’. When I manually edit the product there is no item code in the ‘Product Code’ field.
On variable products it will import the product code for the first variation but not any others. The other variations display ‘N/A’. When I manually edit the product there is an item code for the first variation but nothing for the others.
There is no issue with the import file, all products and variations have a unique code and they are all in the same field which is matched up to ‘_product_code’.
Any ideas on why this is happening? Seems strange that it works for only the first variations but not for others and not for simple products at all.

First of all, I’m very grateful for your plugin, it’s super functional and helps a lot.
I have a question, if you can help me, because I want to standardise the text according to the image in this link: https://snipboard.io/z24cew.jpg
I tried this code in the “product code”, but it changes the whole text ?? I just want to change the text I enter in the settings field.wo_productcode {
color: var(--color-gray-800);
font-weight: 600; }

Hello,
We would like to use this plugin to add product shelf location in warehouse.
So we would like to have it displayed only on backend (order page), and not in frontend (cart, product page, invoice, etc.).
Is this possible?
Thanks for a wonderful Product Code plugin.
I have circled the SKU = sortable column and your Code (not sortable).
I would like to make “Code” sortable like SKU field, how to do it?
Thanks.
Hey, I am not sure how to get the product code to show up on an order. I have the code hidden from the customer view. I am on orders and then edit order. The screenshot on the plugin description showed it on this page so I am just unsure how to make that happen. Thank you so much for your help!
Can you add the line in the plugin to make it compatible with High-Performance order storage (COT)?
Thank you!
First of all, thank you very much for this ingenious plugin! Since the SKU can only appear 1*, you can really make a splash here. You’re great!
Question: is it possible to control the output in the child theme so that the product code is displayed normally as set, but not in the products posts page? It could be hidden with CSS, but the data thieves can still see the values in the source code…
Thank you for your help!
At the beginning I would like to thank you for this very useful plugin. I hope that future maintenance will be done as well.
About my problem:
I tried to use the [Product Code 2]. It turned out that I cannot import any data. (I use the standard function of Woocommerce: Products->Import->CSV).
In one case both fields [Product Code] and [Product Code 2] were filled identically (with PC). Once [Product Code 2] was completely deleted.
Additionally, I noticed that [Product Code] is correctly shown on the product pages, but [Product Code 2] is not shown at all.
I hope this info helps you to solve the problem.
Thank you very much and best regards!
Hi.
Currently, the placement is odd as its 2 liner…. Not the same as the rest of my Woocommerce terms. See attached.
Possible to make it a 1 liner? (I’ve changed the name of Product code to POS Item No.)
It should be :
POS Item No. : TEST (With the Label Bold like the rest of them)
Is that possible?
Thanks!

Thank you very much for the nice plugin!
On a single product page the code is showing perfect, but there is also extra code visible: “.HIDE_PCODE .PRODUCT-TYPE-VARIABLE .PRODUCT_META .WO_PRODUCTCODE, .HIDE_PCODE .PRODUCT-TYPE-VARIABLE .PRODUCT_META .WO_PRODUCTCODE_SECOND{ DISPLAY:NONE; }” Is this a conflict with the theme?
We installed the Product Code Plugin and changed the Field Title and Products Column Title name to Bin Number on the Products page. We unchecked Show Product Code.
We want to have the Bin Numbers printed on a New Order email (that only we see and receive) so we can find and pick the products ordered. We do not want it on customer invoices, and other emails.
Is there an easy way to do this? Thank you.

Hi,
unfortunately we found a compatibility problem between the “Product Code for WooCommerce” plugin and the “Point of Sale for WooCommerce” plugin.
In particular, in the “warehouse” item I found a bug: if I increase or decrease the quantity of the products, I do not see the quantity override under the “warehouse” item
Could you help me?
Hi.

Hi
Donwloaded your plugin, seems to be just fine so far.
I need to have it showing in my PDF (invoice). I have managed to show ‘sku’ in invoice, with this piece of code (below).
How am I able to show the product code I would like to add?
Thanks in advance
<?php if( !empty( $item['sku'] ) ) : ?>
<?php _e( 'Location: ', 'woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips' ); ?>

<?php echo $item['sku']; ?>
<?php endif; ?>
Hi-
Love the new feature of seeing the Product Code column on the Products admin view. Would love to also have ability to edit Product Code in ‘Quick Edit’ feature. We have alot of product turnover so re-assigning spaces frequently.
Understand you’re not the Dev, love the plugin!
Through developer tools, our hosting agency has seen that two admin-ajax requests are fired at the front of the website on product pages with the payload “product_code”.
Question 1:
Are these admin-ajax calls from the plugin?
?
Question 2:
If yes, what is the function of the admin-ajax call?
?
Question 3:
Why do two different calls have to be made and can this not be done in a single call? In an ideal world, the plugin would prefer not to make admin-ajax calls.
The reason I want to reduce (or remove) these calls is the slow speed of our back-end.
I am looking forward to hear from you.

Hi,
On the admin side the product code is visible, but on my product page when the page loads the product code line appears 1 seconds before showing “N/A” ?!
I use the 1.2.8 version.
Thank you for your attention.

Hello
I’m using WPML translation plugin.
Is it possible to lock the value from the main language and remains the same on all other languages, without to be necessary to insert manually on each of them?

I have problem with activating plugin. I tried activate it via wordpress and via .php file, but both ways does not work.
I installed plugin on the other site and it works normally.
But on this site I cannot activate plugin (Either on network or on the site).
When I try to activate plugin it gives me this error: “Product Code for WooCommerce Add-on requires Woocommerce plugin to be installed and activated.”
Woocommerce plugin is installed (I deactivated it and then activate it again but does not change anything). Site is active for about 3 months – we have about 500 procuts.
Any idea what would that be?
