submit button of the proper contact form is not clickable on the sidebar because of this the contact form cannot be submitted please assist to solve this problem
]]>Hi – I was wondering if it would be possible to have the developer create an additional field – one for “Location” — we LOVE your contact form and would prefer not to have to look around or use a different one – but we are in need of another field. Not sure how possible it is to create one?
]]>Hi, you have upgraded “Select one…” into translatable text, but you’ve forgot to attach such textarea into plugin’s control panel. Fix it please, thanks ??
]]>PROPER Contact Form is a grate plugin. Thanks for that!
Need some additional info. How to change the name of recipient/sender?
When someone contact thru the website the sender receives a confirmation letter to his/her email.
In the sender’s line it shows WordPress, NOT the name of the website owner. It seems like WordPress sending to somebody email with “thank you” message. How to change it?
Thanks
We are using the Proper Contact Form Plug-in Version 0.9.8.6.
However for some reason, office 365 is not able to receive emails coming from this plug-in. Gmail works fine though.
Is there a way to directly route the emails coming from the plug-in to Office 365?
]]>Hi,
I want to resize message box (which is multiple lines) to a single line. Or resize it to a size which is close to single line.
How may I do it?
Thanks.
]]>I’ve tried to modify your front.css file to widen the contact form, but it doesn’t seem to take.
On one of my sites, the form text elements are centered rather than flush left. I see nothing that I can adjust to fix that, and, as I said, editing css doesn’t take.
May I suggest you put these settings into the WP dashboard, so they are easily adjusted. And please make them work.
Thank you.
Peace,
Gene Steinberg
Hi guys – I am having an issue that I had back in August 2014. Basically, the contact form inquiries are not getting to our domain email — they are luckily being stored in WordPress so we still have access to them.
As a workaround, we have the inquiries being sent to a GMAIL address which is forwarding to our domain name email without issue. However, I noticed about half of the test emails we send get sent to the spam folder in the GMAIL account. For our domain email we are using Office 365.
Any ideas? I have our account rep from Microsoft looking into it as well.
]]>I’m trying to change the font or font size because the math problem in the “equation” is hard to read. Is there a simple way to do that?
]]>Hi,
This is a great plugin! Is there a way to add a title? Like Contact Us Today or something at the top?
Thanks!
]]>I am using PROPER Contact Form v0.9.8.6. I do have the “Add styles to the site:” site option turned on, but this issue occurs either way. When I load the site and look at the contact form. The required * symbol is underneath the required field. I am using this form as a footer widget and would like to minimize the height some more. How can you make the required * appear after the name or number: Your Full Name* ?
]]>A (non-techy) friend noticed recently she was not reciving emails from her contact form. I tested it with a different email address and it appears to be working, I’m not sure if it was an issue with her email account or the fact her WP install has been updated to 4.1?
That said I have read in another thread about accessing ‘saved’ forms, how can I do this to check if/what submissions have been missed? Many Thanks
]]>Could you add an ability to translate “Select one…” field like the others? Thanks!
]]>We just realized that any of the contact form submissions are not automatically being forwarded to the emails we have set to receive these. The emails luckily are being saved in WordPress so we still have access to them, but it’s a pain to have to keep going in and copying/pasting the inquiries and forwarding them along via regular email.
It looks like this started on August 14th sometime as that’s when we stopped receiving them… was there an update to the plugin at that time that could be causing this? I think there were two over the last couple weeks so not sure if it’s from that.
Otherwise, any idea how to fix? We have the contact submissions being forward to THREE separate email accounts (Office 365, Gmail, and Outlook) and they are not being received on any of these. Help?
]]>I’d like to have the “Reason for contacting” popup be pre-selectable in the shortcode. If I’m on the ‘Massage’ page of my site, then when I drop the contact form shortcode, it would be nice to be able to add something like
[proper_contact_form reason='massage']
as that’s most likely what they want to contact me about from that page.
I have tried using different emails, but i am not getting any emails when submitting this form. they do go to the contacts page in wordpress tho. need help please!
]]>Hi
How do I change the colour of the submit button?
Thank you
The fields do not line up vertically. Instead they are on one line as you can see here https://trinetgrp.org/contact-us/
I’d like them to line up the way they do in your example at the top of this forum page. Everything is updated.
Do you have any insight/solution?
Thanks in advance!
Greg
I just noticed that the PROPER Contact Form Plugin is giving Nonce failed message when completing. This previous worked a month ago. Any Ideas to get this working quickly?
https://www.premier-tek.com/about-us/contact-us/
We recently switched over to O365 small business for our email, but ever since the switch, we have not been getting any inquiries via the contact form. We believe this is most likely a filtering issue, but apparently Microsoft doesn’t allow you to set rules as a small business user (vs. enterprise) — our thought was to allow any emails that come in with the subject line “Contact on Jersey Shore Dog Training” — or whatever the subject line usually is.
In any case, we are trying to figure out if there is an IP address associated with the contact form itself that we might be able to add into the “allow” senders list? The only thing we could find that was the same for each email was the return path: [email protected] — does that have its own IP?
Any ideas or suggestions?

]]>I was wondering if there was a way to set up the PROPER contact form so that I could have 3 forms in one site, each one on a different page, going to a different e-mail address. I’m sure there’s a way, but I’m still fairly new to WordPress. Thanks!
]]>Hello,
My WordPress Site Title contains an ampersand, i.e. Bits & Bites, and when PROPER Contact sends the responses, it converts & to the HTML entity. in the email subject line.
Is there a fix or workaround for this?
Thanks!

]]>Not receiving email after form submitted
]]>Hi! First off, I love the plugin. It’s perfect for my needs.
I copied the css from the plugin and inserted it into my style.css file so I could make adjustments. The only adjustment I can’t seem to make is the red glow around required fields. I’d like to change it from red to another color (in my case #222222). Do you have any advice on where to find this property?
Thanks for your time and the great plugin!
]]>We have been using this contact form for months now and we really LOVE it — the form fits nicely in our sidebar, the overall form is very pleasing to the eye compared to others, and it gives us specifics about the inquiries (page, location, etc.) where other forms make you pay for that. All in all, it’s great!
However, we’ve noticed within the past month or so that we’ve been getting spam up to 5-10+ times a day through our contact form. This has never happened before, until now. Any plans to update the contact form to address these issues somehow or maybe adding actual CAPTCHA where visitors would need to type out?
]]>How do you change the size of the contact form once its on a page? I understand that you can adjust the size once the page has loaded, but the initial size of the form is a bit too small for me.
