Thanks for fixing the vulnerability in 2.22. However, FYI WordPress interprets version 2.22 as higher than 2.3. As a result, I had to manually update the plugin. I thought you might like to know.
]]>All of a sudden we are receiving numerous spam messages in a day. We’ve had over 26 in one day. In the past we would receive a couple a month.
How can this be fixed? I tried blocking the IP address but that has not stopped it. I have removed the chat box from our website because of all the spam we are getting.
]]>The plugin is generating duplicate images of the team members available for chat every 10-15 seconds.
In a couple of hours I can have over 200+ duplicate images…
Thoughts?

Hi,
The following CDN makes websites slower than usual.

Is there any alternate way to fix it?

Good morning,
First I just want to say thank you so much for the amazing plug-in, it’s been a great help! Quick question. On my website (on mobile), I have a call-to-action for users to install the app version. When they tap install, the instructions pop up on the bottom of the screen. My “Pure Chat” icon and text bubble on the left of the icon which reads “chat” hovers over a portion of the instructions.
Is there any way that the text bubble which reads “chat” could disappear after a while, but the “chat icon” could stay? If not, are there any other solutions that could give a similar effect of making sure it doesn’t hover over the app download instructions?
Best,
Milton
We’ve been using pure chat for a while under an account that belonged our fulfillment company. We set up our own (free) account and set up a new widget for that account (I think). But then the fulfillent company closed their account and the chat box disappeared.
We are using WordPress with the WordPress plugin.
What happened? How do we reestablish the connection between our pure chat account and the website?
]]>IS there a way to HIDE the pop up when I am unavailable? I only want it to show when I’m available to chat. Otherwise I want them to use my contact form and not even know chat is there.

]]>Thanks for a great plugin, it’s almost exactly what I needed.
Is there a way to translate Pure Chat so it’s usable on a dual language site? It doesn’t seem compatible with PolyLang/WPML or with Loco Translate.
]]>I installed the plugin but it is not working on all mobile devices. Any ideas?
]]>I have setup up Pure Chat fine but I have found I am unable to alter the CSS for the popup itself. The placeholder field names for the email parts seem to have very large font size which I can not find a way to alter.
]]>Hi,
First let me say you guys did a great job!!Love it!
My question is, on my website i have a contact us div on the right side of each page with number of possibilities (Mail, Chat and phone). I’d like to make the chat available to users after they click on a chat image i have there and not only on the chat widget which is usual located on the right bottom corner of the page.
In another words, I’m looking for the code that will pop up the chat widget after clicking my chat image.
Thanks For your help!
Amir
Hello, I need chat to show on just 1 page of my site. I’ve setup triggers to show chat only when certain URL is in the address bar. Chat is still showing on all pages and posts of my site
]]>Hello,
I have installed and activated the Pure Chat plugin in my wordpress site. Now when I go to Pure Chat page in WP Admin, and click on Pick a widget button then I get following message “Publish your website to make Pure Chat available” and the pure chat widget is not added to my site. Any ideas what actions do I need to perform in order to make the pure chat widget available on all pages of my wordpress site?
]]>I am getting the following error in my console:
ReferenceError: purechat_widget_object is not defined min:36:826
The widget is not showing up.
Thanks!
]]>Hello,
I like the plugin, actually want to try it for few weeks and if all will be OK then we will consider to purchase the premium licence.
However I miss one important feature, which is setting for chat widget at desired web pages only.
Having the marketplace, the chat is desired to homepage only and support page.
On the products page, popping out each time when any category filtering is applied is very annoying.
Let me know if there is possibility to set somehow the widget to desired areas only please.
Also, I would like to know if you are planning the advanced setting of this use case>
When customer hide the chat, define under which conditions shall the chat appear again>
conditions availability:
a. defined countdown
b. returned from page(s)
c. above combination for registered / non registered users
Thanks for reply in advance,
best regards
Peter M.
]]>Hi,
Firstly I would just like to note that I have installed the PureChat widget to my site by embedding the script in each page, rather than by using the plugin, so I am not quite sure that you will be able to help.
After performing some tweaks to my site configuration and .htaccess file, I have managed to reduce my site load time to under 3 secs.
However I am still scoring 65 on Google’s PageSpeed Insights and 68 on Pingdom Tools speed test. Upon investigation of the request breakdown, it now appears that the purechat application is not being minified correctly, and is adding at least 1.5 – 2 seconds of load time, every time a page is opened.
Are you able to minify the application to improve this?
Thanks
]]>Hello. Just installed and tested and all works great so far and I’m ver impressed. One minor question though is there a way to disable the drop shadow on the chat box in simple mode with some css?
]]>Hi there,
I just installed pure-chat and am wondering what they mean with chats used?
I have had 2 conversations and it says I used 2 out of 30 chats.
how do I get more chats and do the chats renew each month back to 30 chats?
Thank you
]]>Hi,

This is more a notification of how I solved the issue rather than a problem. I run a university site and when we activated the widget it was not working. After digging in I found that the “purechat_widget_object.replacement_code” was not being populated correctly. By placing a declaration of this variable attached to the wp_head call pulling in the variable from the options table I was able to get the plugin to work as advertised. I do hope this helps someone.
]]>I’m busy slaving away in my Fort Collins basement with multiple monitors, skype, phone and email going of sporadically. How am I to know when I new chat request comes in? So far they quietly arrive; ergo I miss the opportunity to chat and appear as a flake to chat requesters (I’ve had only one so far).
]]>Hi, i need to change the text: chat whith us!
is posible?
First of all this is a fantastic plugin and just what we were looking for.
I wondered if I’m not understanding the “show widget hide button” option in the settings though.
What I’m hoping it does is allow people who swing by my site to minimize or hide it so that it isn’t just floating there while they browse the site.
If this is what it’s supposed to be doing it’s not working. And if it’s not I wonder if you can explain its purpose and if there is anything in the works to add it.
I think it could seem distracting or intrusive to those who don’t want to chat each time they pop by. Thanks
]]>Hi, is there any chance to configure it to work with WPML ?
thanks in advance and my compliments for the great plugin!
]]>I installed the widget on our test site but it doesn’t display correctly.
With our theme it’s just one one page, and the widget seems to be right at the bottom, all stretched out. It works, but looks a bit weird.
I did find that if I clicked the button to pop the chat window out, and then refreshed the page it went OK.
Testing it on other machines it has the same issue.
I’d give the site address but don’t want to put it in an open forum. Is there an email address or closed forum I can use?
Thanks
Matt
Hi team,
the chat window doesn’t appear when we go on site on a PC ( Chrome or Firefox), we do see it on mobile ( Android ). Please advise. The URL is https://impromocoder.com/. Thanks.
