Hello,
This plugin sounds awesome but it says it hasn’t been updated in a while. Are there any plans to resume actively developing this plugin? Would love to use it but I’m not sure I’d trust it being so out of date…
]]>Hi,
I have used Pushlive in my staging site. My staging and live site are in my local machine with different root folders. I have created a page in staged site and done the pushlive. The page is displaying in my live site but the theme changes are gone. What is the issue. My site view has been changed. I need my default changes for theme and I want to update changes from stage to live?
And also am getting error:’Error in rsync protocol data stream’
Please provide me solution.
Thanks
]]>My PushLive settings on my MultiSite are not being saved. Also, when I try to push, I get 3 errors (Backup-path: Fail – No Backup Path Rights, Dump: Unknown – Possible Error, Backup: Unknown – Possible Error).
]]>Hello,
I am considering downloading PushLive, however I have already started my staging using the WP Staging plugin. I am a beginner (our web administrator left and I am trying to figure it out on my own) and we are switching to the Divi theme through Elegant Themes. I have all my changes done in the staging area, just need to know if the PushLive plugin will work with what I am doing.
I appologize if this topic has been published before, I did search for it here and I also did a search in Google.
Please help!
Thank you,
Heather
Hello,
I tried using this on same host and it’s working flawlessly. But recently, i came across with a project that hosted on siteground(as staging) and aws-ec2(as live). I already tried opening port 3306 for mysql and include the correct db credentials but the plugin isn’t connecting.
Any idea?
]]>Not sure what this means but I created a folder here on my wordpress site
/clickandbuilds/WordPress/backup/
But I keep getting the error ” Fail – No Backup Path Rights ”
Backup Location Path:
This should be a safe existing location on your server that is not accessable from the web ( a pushlive folder will be auto created here )
/clickandbuilds/WordPress/backup/
]]>I’m getting the following PHP notice for the plugin:
PHP Notice: Undefined index: option_page in /var/www/www.websitedomain.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pushlive/pushlive.php on line 75
Looks like this plugin could use some code clean-up.
]]>I’m getting the following error on my logs:
PHP Strict Standards: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, non-static method PushLive_Admin::init() should not be called statically in /var/www/www.websitedomain.com/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 524
I cannot turn off strict standards for PHP on my server for various reasons, but I wanted to update with this warning that should likely lead to fixing the plugin’s code to be compliant.
]]>I realize the plugin has a button to click yourself and push manually to the live site. But what about an automatic push on a schedule? Is that a feature of the plugin?
]]>Hello, When is this function going to be available – looking for WPStage alternatives
Thx

]]>Hi,
I have got one question: After clicking on “Push Site Live Now”, only a blank site appears. No error or something else. The DB (settings should be correct) was not cloned and files (pathes should be correct too) neither. Any help would be appreciated ??

This was asked before but I have an additional question.
I used WP Staging Tool to create my staging site.
My URLs look like this:
example.com (live)
example.com/stage (stage)
Will PushLive work with those kind of URLs?
Also, my staging site has a different theme installed with different plugins that my live site does not have. Will I have to install those on the live site before I use PushLive or will it move and activate everything after I use PushLive?
]]>Hi there,
I want to use PushLive to push my staging website to the production website. As we are using the WooCommerce plugin on both the staging and production website, we don’t want the orders in the production website to be overwritten by the orders in the staging environment. But if we skip the wp_posts and wp_postmeta tables from the PushLive settings (where the orders are stored), important information (for example new posts on the staging website) are also skipped. In the optimal scenario, only the order information is skipped in the push from staging to live. Does anyone have any experience with this?
With kind regards,
Sam Bouwer
]]>I entered all my server details, and unchecked the tables for users and usermeta, and wp_options, and when I press save, it gave me the 403 Forbidden error.
]]>Hi I installed plugin, and when I am looking at plugin options page, it’s showing me a list of warnings. Can you please help me correct this? Here is screenshot of entire page , https://joxi.ru/V2VD6g7S0XYRLr
if you want to email me at [email protected] I will give you admin login if you need to fix. Thanks!
]]>Hello, help me please.
I try to do all regarding instructions, but have ‘Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/soedemoadm/domains/soedemo.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pushlive/includes/class.pushlive-dbsync.php on line 196’
when click pushlive? if it can Help:https://nimbus.everhelper.me/client/notes/share/441053/nk310pusonn0vmbd6d9v
Second website have installed wordpress and some plugins. Maybe it is the reason of error. But im not sure
Hope on your help, thank you
I am hoping this plugin ends up working for what I need but I am getting a transfer error?
Also, is this supposed to remove everything that was on the staging site and redirect it to the live site? I attempted it once from a dev.myurl.com to test.myurl.com and the dev portion was redirected. I trashed it and tried it again but now I am getting an error.
Thanks for any help, much appreciated.
]]>Hi Jamin,
is it possible to clone the live site to another site in the multisite network and use this clone as the new staging site? The site is renamed during the clone process to site.com/staging for example. Following this process I already have a new “stage database”, right?
Cheers, chrizzlefizzle
]]>Hi, Jamin – we had pushlive set up and working great. We then installed the ‘Thrive Content Editor’ plugin as the ‘Accelerate’ theme. Something seems to be broke.
The first push provided successful status responses on all phases but failed to add a new entry to the pushlive log. Testing showed some elements did not get copied. Although the ‘Accelerate’ theme was there the menus, and images that were a part of the dev pages were not.
I examined the production directory and determined that the plugin was there and the database had been updated with the 1 new table that the plugin required. The plugin functions properly so I doubt that this caused any problem.
I then tried to do a second push which reported successful status on all phases. Plus this time a new log entry was created. However, menus and images associated with the theme were still missing.
Anything special about certain themes? I can’t tell by looking if something didn’t work – just that the dev site has all the stuff and the prod site does not.
Any suggestions on next steps? I am amenable to providing admin access to our system for you if that is needed.
Many thanks.
]]>From the instructions, it doesn’t appear so, I just want to be sure. Thanks!
]]>I originally redesigned my website using a staging area created by WP Staging Tool. Unfortunately the developer did not include a function for making those changes go live and it has to be done manually which I don’t know how to do.
Will this plugin help me considering my site is already in a staging area created by a different plugin? It’s ready to go live and I’m stuck.
]]>I wanted to use PushLive because it seems to do exactly what I want (staging -> production easily). However, after configuring it, I get this error
I tested the database connection using the test database button, and it says it’s working fine.
Note – I used All-in-One WP Migration to set up the initial staging site. Would this be an issue?
]]>I am wanting to use this plugin but have read that it can be dangerous to use the same database.
I hope this makes sense. I really don’t know much about this!
]]>Hello, as I see it this plugin only works on a same system. Do I understand correctly that replication will be possible between separate systems?
Cheers,Tom
]]>I have installed 2 instances of WordPress v. 4.3.1 as instructed: one as a ‘live’ instance as ‘sitename.org’ with a , the second as a ‘dev’ instance under a sub-domain of ‘dev.sitename.org’.
I supplied all information in the settings page but when ‘Save’ is clicked a page is displayed with ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ with a link ‘Please try again’ and nothing else.
I have tried various settings, path names, and so on but have run out of options.
The site is not live and I would be willing to share URL’s and admin login info if that would help.
Any suggestions?
]]>I am setting up a stage>prod site setup on a single web host. The development/staging site has PushLive installed, and I am configuring it. On the configuration page, I see a few issues:
1) immediately following the words Exclusion Settings, a warning message appears:
Warning: call_user_func() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘admin_exclude_settings_callback’ not found or invalid function name in /home/myweb/public_html/stage/wp-admin/includes/template.php on line 1321
2) After the note about “first push” where you select what should be pushed, I get a series of warning messages before the first checkbox shows up.
Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, boolean given in /home/myweb/public_html/stage/wp-content/plugins/pushlive/views/exclude.php on line 31
This repeats for a total of 12 instances, then the line at the top of the include selections, “Include Selected Table Name”, and the list of tables to include displays.
]]>Hello Jamin,
Thanks for making this plugin public. It is something that I have been looking for.
I have a 3 site, Multisite WordPress install that I have used as a development and redesign area. Now we are ready to have the sites go live, however I would like to set up a staging area and then push to the live sites.
Can your plugin work with Multisite?
Would I install it in the main Network site and then create three new, clean wordpress sites to be my future live sites and link each one?
Site 1 – Main Network Multisite install >> Live Main site
Site 2 – ABC >> Live ABC
Site 3 – XYZ >> Live XYZ
What would be the best way to accomplish this?
Thanks
netivity
]]>I was really excited to find your plugin, unfortunately when I went to activate after installation. I couldn’t.
Beside WordPress telling me it cannot be activated due to a fatal error, it’s given me this message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/ameri340/public_html/silentbeautyspeaks.com/accelerate/staging/wp-content/plugins/pushlive/pushlive.php on line 71
