I’ve installed the plugin, worked out how to get my bitly credentials and I see there is a button on the posts toolbar. There are no more instructions and the support questions here remain unanswered months down the line.
Do I select text before clicking the button, what is supposed to happen when the button is clicked, should the button insert code on the visual editor or the text editor or both, is there a shortcode workaround if the button doesn’t work? For me the button does nothing.
I’ve found that two months ago someone posted about the button not working with TimyMCE 4.0. No response was given. Normally I would investigate a possible conflict with another plugin or theme but it doesn’t seem worth bothering.

In my case, version 1.1 doesn’t work properly. I had to downgrade to 1.0 otherwise appeared an error message at the top of the site. I like very much this plugin but in this version it doesn’t work properly.

The plugin looks fantastic on my site, also easy to implement. I, although, am hoping to make a few modifications (noted in the support comments).

Just installed this plugin for 2 of my clients, who often don’t have photos to put with their blog posts, this should help add variety to their text. Easy to install, easy to use

It sounds like a useful plugin, but it is of no use to anyone if there isn’t a way to implement it. From what I have seen, there is no shortcode, no menu choice in the post editor… nothing. There are no instructions for this plugin other than to install and activate.

Great idea! love this plugin. Thanks so much.
Would be great if there was an option to style the look of the blockquote text, and maybe the share buttons – I already have a blockquote style and had to override.
Thanks again!
