Hi. When I order a gift card, the order is completed but the card is not created. Woocommerce gives me this error in the order notes: An error occurred during the status change. Error while creating gift card: Table ‘dbtest.wp_pimwick_gift_card’ doesn’t exist

Hi, is it possible to explain to me why version pw-gift-cards 3.0 no longer works? I have the paid version which renews on November 22, 2024 and it no longer appears on my WordPress. I saw that there is a new version compatible with woocommerce but which blocks my old version from working. I wrote a support email to PW Gift and no one responded. Does support exist for old customers? I have a License key.

For some reason we can “buy” cards in our shop, but the “usage”-options do not show up anywhere ??
Changing the position, in the settings, doesn’t help. The possibility of filling in a gift-card-code, as (part) payment for the order, simply does not appear.
I probably have forgotten to set something but I wouldn’t know what. The setup should be quite easy. Create a card and that’s it?! ??
The plugin is used in a WordPress Multisite setup and is only activated (for testing purposes) in one of the sites for the moment.
The used theme is Flatsome.

Hi, I was able to translate “Other amount” on the product page from the dropdown menu and on other places, but when you add gift card to the cart when using the “Other amount” option, it stays untranslated in the cart for some reason even though I already translated it. It’s the suffix after the Gift card product name “- Other amount” like this. Any idea how to fix it?

We bought the Pluging PW Gift card. When a customer adds his credentials and chooses a gift card he won’t go through to the cart but gets a message instead to choose product options. But there aren’t options.

I have a problem with the amount attribute of the cards that are getting duplicated. You can replicate the issue on a new fresh WordPress, WooCommerce installation by following the steps below:

1. Create a product of type PW Gift Card.
2. Add one or more amounts in the Gift Card tab.
3. Publish the product.
4. Go to Attributes and rename the “Gift Card Amount” attribute to anything else.
5. Save the product (not the attributes).
6. Now go back to the Attributes and you’ll see 2 of them: the first one you renamed and a new one named “Gift Card Amount”

How could I fix this behavior? (it’s the same on the Pro version)

We’re trying out the free version of your plugin for our gift card system. When creating the gift card product, we noticed that we only have a field for the emailaddress of the recipient, is there a way to add another field where the buyer can fill in the name?

Also, is there a way to make the message not optional?

And third question, just to be sure, with the free version, people can still use only part of the gift card and use the rest at a later date, right?

I have a website in two languages with 2 currencies. I use WPML. I want to have 2 different gift cards for each language and currency, because the ammount will be different.

I’m adding the product, after i add the mounts and publish the product .

After publishing the prodcut, In attributes i get this amounts and it is incorrect since 100 lei in euros is 20

In variations there is no amount selected. Even if i select the amount, after updating product the are no values

When clicking a specific gift card on the website store, going to the product ticket –

I have 2 columns:

One for entering the sender’s name, personal note, the receiver email, quantity selection and add to basket button.

On the 2^nd column, I have two gift cards, both with the correct gift card title:

The top one is including the name, receiver and the personal note.

The bottom one has just the title and the default from, to and personal note.

How can I remove the bottom – no need – gift card?

We operate on multi-site environment we have multiple currencies (Euro, USD, & GBP) and we defined manually the currency multiplicator.

When redeeming the gift card with multi-currency the PW plugin is taking the manually defined multiplicator values to convert the currencies for calculating the remaining balance/ for redeeming.

Could you assist me if there is a way, where the gift card takes the live currency conversion rate and not the multiplicator value ?

The currency convertor we are using is WooCommerce Price Based on Country (version 3.4.7)

And PW WooCommerce Gift Cards Pro (version 3.1)

We operate in a multisite environment, and we have two sites (WorldWide site for all the countries and French site for France).

When a customer purchases a gift card in the WorldWide version and sends it to a user in the French region, the user is unable to redeem in the French version of our website.

Apart from manually adding the gift card details to multi-site, is there a dynamic approach to this ?

When we check balance we place code of gift card like 3DGY-6F57-7N6G-8VSL.

When we want to add more funds to it we have to use link like

?pw_gift_card_reload_number=3DGY-6F57-7N6G-8VSL

1. So, any search engine can cache this string ;
2. If I want to send this string to my friends this code can be redeemed.
3. etc.

So how can we add Pin code?(protection code) to redeem each code, to use it more secure ?

So users can use only code to Fund, see balance. But to redeem there should be additional protection.

I have discovered that recipient details aren’t being added to the cart when a gift card is purchased meaning that no gift card code is being generated or emailed when this option is selected. It works fine if the customer chooses to send the gift card to themselves.

I have read on here that this could be due to a theme AJAX Add-to-cart conflict, but no details were provided on the thread on how to solve this.

I use the Hestia theme.

I don’t have the AJAX add to cart for WooCommerce plugin currently.

Could someone help provide a fix please?

All my gift vouchers are sold individually, but when a customer adds a gift card to their cart, the product name is appended with the price of the voucher, so they have the price twice – once on the product name & once on the line item.

Is there a way to just use the product name as the cart item and remove the confusing price appendage?
