Hi there,
When using the query monitor plugin it shows the following PHP error (when trying to edit a single product). The plugin also slows the site down a lot (I’m hoping fixing the error below will help improve that)
Uncaught Error: abs(): Argument #1 ($num) must be of type int|float, string given wp-content/plugins/qa-cost-of-goods-margins/src/Helpers/Formulae.php:68
Thanks

]]>Hello,
I have just downloaded this plugin and very grateful for what it can do!
I wasn’t sure if there ever was a COGS report in this but that was my initial assumption.
So my questions are:
1. Does this have COG-Sold in the report / insight?
2. If yes, how do I enable it?

Hello,
I am debugging my website on the staging domain and I found that your plugin causing the below warning notice, any help to fix that warning?
Notice: is_singular was called incorrectly. Conditional query tags do not work before the query is run. Before then, they always return false. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.1.0.) in /wp-includes/functions.php on line 5663
Installing this plug-in shows critical error on the settings page of QA.
Any advice?

]]>Hello Would you please help me to upload historical data to seee the previos orders on the statistics.
Please let mo know hot to do it
I read this on plugin info:
You will notice Net Profit and Margin are NOT calculated the moment the plugin is installed. It is because the Orders in the past are not present in the charts (yet).
The reason for this is that we are launching a forecasting and Order Management tool in April 2020, for which we had to create the algorithms in a different way than are standard in WooCommerce charts.
Of course, if you can’t wait till April next year, please reach out to us directly at [email protected] then we can help you to manually import all historic data.
I found a bug. The Cost price separator is not saved. For example: If I fill in € 7,99 it’s stored as € 799.

All of my products are showing net margin 100%

]]>Hi,
I have about 1,500+ products that are dropshipped and strictly using your plugin to view the % margin for each product in my inventory. My issue is
1) In PRODUCTS >> ALL PRODUCTS I am unable to filter by Margin. This would allow me to view products with the highest margins to the lowest margins.
2) I am using an advanced bulk edit plugin that allows me to view/update a large amount of products at the same time. I was able to add a custom field column to show _qa_cog_cost so I can see the cost for each product.. but adding _qa_cog_margin_tax as a custom field does not work (unable to find this custom field… this would allow me to see the Margin for each product just like the PRODUCTS >> ALL PRODUCTS page). Any ideas on how I can get this to work?
]]>Hi!
I currently have an issue with the cost of goods/retail insights plugin. While it does a good job of tracking our sales and profit margins there is an issue where it seems to track excluded order statuses. We currently have every single available status apart from the mandatory finished and the obvious complete status excluded in the retail insights report. However the net and gross revenue reports differ up to 10% when compared to woo commerce’s built in reports.
Example
Woo-commerce gross revenue reports that we sell for 1000 euro.
Retail insights reports that we sell for 1010-1100 euro during the same day.
bear in mind that every single order statues apart from complete has been excluded from the report, it seems that retail insights still counts cancelled orders into the gross revenue reports.
On a side note, is there a possibility to add retroactive changes. while we were setting it up it took a few days to go through our stock list and changes we made wernt reflected retroactively meaning that every time we exclude a order type we have to wait a month before we can get an accurate “monthly” report so to say.
]]>Hello!
I read in other thread that the problem of saving the cost was fixed.
How did you fix this problem? I just downloaded this awesome plugin, unfortunately after 7 products, the cost is no longer updated for the rest of my items (not that I have a very large inventory, i’m just starting in the online business thanks to being fired because of covid).
Thanks!
UPDATE: I tried updating on quick edit mode and it worked. Is this the intended functionality?
]]>Hi guys thanks for relasing this plugin… It looks amazing, I’ve just installed it, but the report shows nothing… Can you confirm it should calculate my past order ? or does it work just with the orders placed after the plugin installation ?
Best regards

I’m using WordPress 5.4.1 and have installed your plugin. Unfortunately the ‘Cost Price’ field is not saved when I fill it in.
]]>I’m having this error on some products when I list all products
Warning: end() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in *****************/wp-content/plugins/qa-cost-of-goods-margins/src/CoG/Columns.php on line 293
I’m not sure if the Cost Price on the product page is incl. or excl. Tax. Hope to hear from you so I can fill in the prices.
And is it possible that you mention this on the product pages? Just like you did at the Margin field.
]]>When I have all my cost prices in Bulk and I want to import them what field should I use. I have done a export of all my products and made a dummy one with an amount,. When I look on the exported csv file the column with value is nowhere to be found and does not show in any off the collums even meta data collumss.
How can I import this as doing it manually for 8000 items is a nightmare
]]>Hi there, this is a great plugin but has big issue (at least what I am facing).
When the plugin is active, the edit.php?post_type=product
in the Developer Tools > Network is always pending, making the admin page unresponsive and keep loading forever.
I don’t know if anyone has had this issue but is there anything I can provide you so you can maybe have a look/replicate?
Thanks
]]>Hi there, i’m trying to figure out what settings do, nothing changes no matter if settings are on/off (after saving changes of course), also is there a way to hide fields in the product page? i just want to store the cost and check the reports (i know you’re working on the new reports don’t worry about that, just letting you know what i need ?? )
]]>I have just installed this plugin and it looks great. However, I need help with one aspect. My product price includes GST (VAT). The plugin calculates my profit without deducting the GST. For example the retail price of an item, before tax, is $3. GST adds 10%, so the price including tax is $3.30. The product is shown as taxable in woocommerce and the tax is shown separately on an invoice, but by law the tax must be included in the retail price.
Is there some way of making the plugin ignore the added tax in calculating the margin?
]]>Hi Team,
Thanks for this amazing plugin and really appreciate you sharing it free. I have just installed the plugin but unfortunately after fillip up the cost of goods, markup, margin etc there are no reports in woocommerce reports.
Could you please help?
Thanks in advance.
