Help! I’m having a new issue where my cover image and post images are getting mixed up. I try to post a cover image and it disappears or ends up within the post when I try to add post images. It’s a simple blog website I’ve had for years and I’m seriously considering abandoning WordPress all together when it’s one issue after the next. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I try to test the lite version of Q & A since it seems to be a nice plugin, but I face a serious problem. The unregistered users are not able even to view the questions and/or answers, instead the browser is blocking, Chrome for example is placing the message “This webpage has a redirect loop”.
I have tried to solve the problem by deactivating all other plugins on my site, but it is still not working.
Can you help me solve this problem?
]]>I am using QA-lite and it will not display the answers to a question. When I look at the answers in the admin, they are listed as published, but all of my questions are still listed as unanswered and the answers do not display.
]]>I would like to have an excerpt of my answer to show below the question. When I “enable excerpts” they only show after I click on the question.
Is it possible to have the excerpt show with the Question (with out any clicks) with the “continue reading” button. Then when “continue reading” is clicked the accordion opens to show the rest of the answer?

When accessing site.com/questions or questions.ask page is redirected to page set under Access Restricted Page.
I have tried changing the permalinks. I’m aware that user have to registered to post the comment, but I’m not sure why user have to be registered to even see teh questions.

]]>Q&A allows me to set permission for each user role, that works well in the front end. However, when subscribers enter the wp-admin area, they can add/edit/trash all questions even though I give subscribers no permission at all.
Am I using it wrong or am I missing something? I tested it out with WP 3.3.1 and twentyeleven theme without any customization.

]]>Even though the visual editor window fits into the post area nicely, when you actually type in it, text starts to disappear off to the right.
If I switch to HTML view, all the text is there and wraps as expected.
Anybody know how to fix this?

I have installed the Q&A Lite plugin and it works well except that the default WYSIWYG text editor does not allow the submission of content having nested HTML elements. For example, text with a
ul tag with
li tag in it. Submitting text containing bullets using visual editor leads to a 404 Not Found! This happens when I either edit existing answers or write a new answer and add bulleted text to it. That does not happen when I edit an existing question.
The URL that the answer form posts to looks valid but still the 404 occurs. I have spent several hours trying to figure out what’s wrong but haven’t found the source of the problem. Will appreciate any pointers. Thanks!

Just a complete unworkable mess.
It’s knocked my widgets out of line and doesn’t fit in the page.
My theme is not complicated, but I tried it with other themes and it doesn’t even show up, just a plain white screen. (php error?)
]]>I have it installed and working beautifully on my multisite Buddypress setup, even with Cubepoints! My only question is, how do I display more than three questions on the /questions/ page? I’ve looked everywhere. The widget has a choice for how many questions to display, and I could probably change the template to display the widget, but isn’t there another solution. Should this be an option in the admin menu.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

]]>I finally got the Q&A plugin to look ok within the Karma theme. I’ve been testing Q&A and noticed that no matter what I do, I can’t seem to successfully post an Answer that has a line-break or paragraph <p> in Visual mode. When I create an answer in visual mode that have these, after I post, all text is on the same line. I look at the source and no HTML. The text looks right in Visual view and when I switch over to HTML view, it looks the same as on Visual mode (no HTML code) but is properly formatted right. I have tried installing 2 other editors, but same issue.
When posting a question, it works fine. I have tried turning all my plugins off, tried the 20/10 theme, tried a “Enable RAW HTML” plugin, still nothing. I have even tried re-creating the single-question.php file. I am using Visual mode because everyone who will be posting both questions and answers is not going to know HTML code. Can anyone suggest a fix/direction? Site is inspir3 DOT COM / questions. The answers you see there have been edited in through the admin for formatting the paragraphs.

]]>hi. I love the plug in and it’s exactly what i was looking for but i can’t seem to get it to work. I’m very green when it comes to word press but i installed the plug-in, activated it, checked the permalinks, and even copied the php files from the default folder to my theme folder.
I have some of the layout on the screen but none of the links work and the layout is terrible. i just wanted it to look like the screenshots. does it all need customized?

I was wondering if anyone could help me? I am using the ‘Q&A Lite’ Plug-in and want to allow customers (whether subscribed or not) to be able to ask questions that i then answer.
Each time i log out and try to ask a question (to test it) it tells me i need to log-in to ask a question. I have been on the settings and changed them to allow customers to ask questions, but still nothing.
I would really appreciate some help on this topic and i look forward to hearing back from you

]]>I’m getting a 500 internal server error (with no additional message in log, etc.) on user-answer after upgrading to the latest version.
I’ve traced the problem to line 392 of core/template-tags.php. Commenting out the echo _qa_html() line, resolves the issue (but obviously breaks the output).

I am running latest version of WP 3.2.1 and have downloaded the plugin. I have been able to get the plugin to work by reseting permalinks and all.
My only problem now is, I can’t get it to display well in my theme. I was gonna create a special page for it to display but do not know how to assign it.
My theme makes use of different page layouts and would be happy to use one of them

I just installed the plugin. I had my permalink structure changed even before I install the plugin.
still I’m getting 404 error.
I purchased 1.01 version of this plugin some months ago, and am only now getting around to installing it (my “subscription” has since lapsed, apparently), however I am having several issues with it.
My most immediate issue is that fact that “Login and Submit” (anonymous posting), is only saving the posts as drafts, and never allows them to be published, even after the users login.
The proper behavior should be that after a successful login, the post is published and the user taken back to it. This is not the case.

Is it possible to add “post id” to the url, just like wordpress or stackoverflow?
