This is just an awful ripoff of Flarum. Don’t download. It will destroy your website.

This is just a blatant copy of Flarum, an open source forum system, with almost no credit given back to his original creators. This copy of that pre-alpha software is unstable, prone to vulnerabilities, etc.

the best forum plugin, I will translate it to Japanese.

It’s so simple that just some clicks and all things have been done. Hope there will be more extensions, thanks guys!

It does work with my site, nothing broken down. I use it to talk and sharing ideas with my friends. And it will be better if I can custom my own menus at the header.

It is the plugin I want. I have no knowledge of codings, so the easy-to-use is my key point. I have tried almost all the forum plugins, only this one meet my need, it is so simplicity and elegant, guys, please keep move on!

This is a great plugin, to me and to to the WP communities. It’s the first forum plugin that worth trying at the WordPress platform.
But some reviews make me sick, have you ever tried this plugin? Are your responsible for your comments? Don’t be like a kid, this only makes you looks like a whiny group.
Thanks QDiscuss, please move on, the one like you are driving WordPress communities forward!

You’re not acting like a good open source citizen here. What you’re doing is legal, but not right.
You should either:
a) Create a clean WordPress plugin for Laravel, similar to wp-discourse and pt-wp-discourse-sso.
or…
b) Create your own forum from scratch. You are forking and repurposing code that is, in the words of its original developers, not yet production ready.
You are acting irresponsibly. Kindly reconsider your strategy.

keep on moving, don’t give up, it’s a great plugin!

Unfortunately, you’ve re-branded a forum project known as Flarum (which isn’t ready to be used on live websites yet) as your own, and then tried to profit from it. Not only are you putting possible users at risk by giving them an insecure script, but your also demotivating the actual developer from working on a great project that I was hoping to see developing into an actual script which is ready for use on live websites. Shame on you. Your ruining it for the rest of us.
If you market this as a wordpress bridge for flarum, and release it to the public when Flarum is actually ready to be used on a live website. Maybe I will take this back.
Author Flarum: https://tobyzerner.com/ – thank you for all your hard work

This would be a really good product but unfortunatly you are using someon else’s code and reselling and rebranding it as your own.

This is a copy of Flarum, a pre-alfa forum software which is still unstable, prone to vulnerabilities, etc. and as such should not be used on live environments.

New:
You’ve made it a bit more clear where most of the work is actually coming from. So I gave you a star back. You still used the code (yeah, I know legally) and pushed it to an environment that it wasn’t ready for, making everyone lose the privilege to actually watch the development from a coding perspective.

Quirky design. Would not completely uninstall – had to go into my database to delete left behind tables, entries, etc.

Although the features are limited, but so far it’s the best forum plugin for WordPress. Hope the category be released ASAP.
