We use the plugin on singel wordpress sites and it works well. we have also installed the plugin on a wordpress multisite. there i can’t find any plugin in the settings in the dashboard after the installation. the plugin has been installed via the administration and is active but is nowhere to be found.
]]>Hi.
I have this setup and works perfectly., However, Instead of just backing up the data to my qnap NAS it is also creating a large multi gb backup file in my local WordPress directory on my cPanel server. This means, when I run my own webhosting backups for cpanel (via softalious) the backup file generated is massive.
I cannot find any way to instruct this plugin to stop creating the massive backup file on web host also.
Dear Support,
backing up from the NAS encounters a restore error 413 while the size of the backup to restore is much smaller than the memory limits set in PHP.ini.
What solution can you suggest for this?
Is it possible to have a function within the framework of which I can upload the .qpw file to the site via FTP without the MARS software and restore it with this extension, if the MARS solution does not work as a restore, only as a backup?
Thank you in advance!
]]>Hi QNAP.
My QNAP TVS-473 froze complete during restoration of a WordPress site using v1.0.3 of QNAP NAS Backup (MARS) solution. Had to reboot the NAS hard. Tried again and MARS froze again, when I tried restore process again.
Furthermore, I found no description on how to open .qwp-file manually.
So all my WordPress backups ended out being absolutely worthless! Please fix.
Regards, Fredrik Strange
]]>Hello,
As a professional maintaining WordPress-based sites and a QNAP owner, this would be a perfect companion.
Unfortunately, there are quite some things missing:
Hello I tried the updated plug-in and it has fixed a few bugs however, the plug-in needs to delete the .QWP once the backup is complete as it is taking up too much space.
Thank you
]]>This error show when having the plugin installed.
expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, class ‘qnap\QNAP_Main_Controller’ does not have a method ‘enqueue_updater_scripts_and_styles’ in /home/xxxx/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 307
Once the backup has been done it should be deleted off the Web server.
Please can you add these options to the plug-in. It seems to be a little bit outdated..
]]>When installing QNAP NAS Backup plugin on my server, the following error occurs (starting part):
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class “qnap\WP_CLI_Command” not found in /var/www/vhosts/…/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/qnap-nas-backup/lib/vendor/qeek/command/class-qnap-wp-cli-command.php:25 Stack trace: #0 …
Installing on two other servers it works. I tried different PHP versions up to 8.1, nothing did help. Please check, what could be the problem?
