is there a way to see how many times the QR code was scanned?
]]>I created several QR codes a couple months back, but today discovered that the PNGs no longer exist, as in, the entry in the backend of wordpress shows a broken image icon in some of the entries listed on the QR Redirects admin page. I had saved a list of these links to the PNGs when I created the QR codes, so now when clicking on the link to retrieve the image for use on prints now gives me a “not found” wp page on my site.
From a support ticket i read on the QR Redirector forum, I have already tried opening permalinks settings and without changing just saving but no change.
I have dozens of older qr codes that work fine still.
How can I regenerate the PNgs WITHOUT changing the actual QR info in them? Some of them were already printed, but I still need access to them to download and send to be printed on other items, and I don’t have access to the originals because they always just worked.
]]>It would be tremendously helpful to add the title of the QR code to the file name when downloading. When making and downloading more than 1 QR code at a time, it’s hard to know which is which.
]]>Hi, i want to thank you for the plugin. It’s really usefull for us.
Can i ask a nice addition: it would be great to have the option to place the title under the generated qr-code images. Cause they all look the same when you print it out, right. Having a title solves that.
Hi there! I am doing some tests to use this plugin but has a problem, when I scan the QR code from an application on my phone, I do not make the correct redirection that I put, if you could help me with this please.
]]>Hey, thanks for developing that great Plugin!
We are using it since more then a year now.
Sadly we receive a error message while creating a new QR Code.

]]>Hello,
I have recently tried to add some foreground and background colors on the QR, and even if I change the colors again to something else, I get the 1st set as a downloadable file.
Can this be fixed?

Is it able to download transparent QR code (without the white background)?
]]>Hello!
Thanks for the plugin! I want to suggest a few improvements:
1. Add header('Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate');
before redirect header. Sometimes browsers may cache redirect url. In this case changes to “Reddirect to URL” will not work as expected for all users!
2. On line 55 when you check if(!is_admin())
, add is_singular( 'qrcode' )
condition. That will ensure we are actually accessing redirect page! Just checking for admin and post_type is not enough. There is a possibility of infinite redirects. I got this issue on front page with all published posts in the loop!..
I’ve created QR Code but now how to scan it.
When I open my phone camera to focus this QR Code nothing works and it won’t redirect.
I really like the plugin, it is functional and adapts to my project.
I have 2 suggestions:
– Would it be possible to add the function of uploading a csv file with all the fields? I have a list of 150 Qr to generate and it would be nice to be able to import it.
– You could have on the qr listing page the DOWNLOAD option to download the image without accessing it and the stats option to see how many clicks it receives.
Finally, I would like to help in translating the plugin into Spanish. How could i help?
]]>Updating to 1.4 breaks redirects, causing visitors to see a blank page instead of the target URL. Editing the QR Redirect and hitting Update solves this, but that’s not a solution when you have a large number of redirects.

Can you help me, please?
Thank you in advance

When I try to install this plugin I get the following error:
Could not copy file. qr-redirector/phpqrcode/cache/mask_4/mask_117_4.dat
This error happened both when I tried installing directly from www.ads-software.com repository, and also when I downloaded the zip file and then manually uploaded it into my WordPress installation.

Hello,
I have set a multisite and this plugins is trying to get the image from wp-content/uploads/qrcodes and it can’t find it and it doesn’t show the QR. The URL should be wp-content/uploads/sites/qrcodes
Where in the code should I fix it?
Thank you very much in advance.

Hi nikki
Please could you advise me on how to change the redirects to a 301 to pass on link juice rather?
Kind regards
]]>Hi,
I installed the plugin in a multisite installation, but I don’t know, if this is relevant to the following error/bug.
After adding and publishing a new qr redirect the qr code image is displayed as missing. The folder “qrcodes” (in wp-content/uploads) is also not generated after the installation, which should contain the qr code images.
Re-generating a new qr redirect – after adding the necessary folder – the qr code image is not generated.
What is the error?
Thanks for a hint.
Hello,
Your plugin is very great and it’s work very well !
But, in the administration panel of WP, there is not a small image next to the name, QR Redirects.
View example
Can you insert a small logo, please ?
Best regards
