Hi.
I’ve updated WordPress to 4.2.4 and the visual editor is messed up. Is there a patch or quick fix?
Thanks!
How can I translate a one page site, so just the index.php?
TIA for your answer, Regards

Hello There,
My website is in french.
Default pages are in french. I want a switcher to also get pages in english. I’ve installed qTranslate plus. The switcher flags are in the top of my website. I’ve also translate the pages.
The problem is that I have a switcher on my website but it dosen’t change the langue of the pages.
(If I manually put the english url in the navigator it works but not by clicking on the flags).
How can I link this?
Many thanks in advance.

Hello to everyone
I use wordpress 4.1.5 + qTranslate Plus 2.7.2 + Advanced Custom Fields
4.4.1 + Advanced Custom Fields: qTranslate 1.7.9
I have two languages and My problem is that I add 3 different wysiwyg fields in my posts. When I am trying to update my content as far as I can understand the content of the devonf language tab is added to the first language tab!
As i searched throught the forum this seems to be more or less a common problem and a suggested solution is something like this
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/problem-using-mqtranslate-wp-39-and-advanced-custom-fields
I tried different solutions and could’t solve the problem. This is only happening to wysiwyg fields and not text areas or other fields so I guess it is a mallfunction of tinymce combined with qtrnslate plus.
is there any solution? any ideas where to search?
Thanks in advance
Dear support,
usually your plugin works great but in one website I get this weird error (I use 2 languages: Czech and English). In the editor mode the plugin does not distinguish the title and writes both of them in this format:
Award fencerAward fencer
Is there a way to fix this bug?
Kindly thank you!

I have qtranslate plus 2.7.2. The activated/installed languages are German and Hungarian. English is not installed/activated. Still I would like to have the language of the admin pages set to English. I’ve tried so far
https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/how-to-remove-admin-language-menus
I replaced ‘qtrans_adminMenu’ with ‘ppqtrans_adminMenu’ in the code but it did not work.
How can I set admin language to English without installing English in qtranslate?
Thanks,

Hi I am using the latest version of wordpress and the plugin but am having a problem, on a site I have made for a client: https://www.moydomispania.com/ru/ and some russian isn’t showing which is hard coded into the site using the <?php echo __("Búsqueda porПоиск поSearch byRecherche"); ?>
for example.
This is quite strange as text like beds and bathrooms seems to work fine here: https://www.moydomispania.com/ru/category/properties/luxury-properties/
Any help would be appreciated

Now to the problem – it happens that when using visual editor in WordPress and switching among the language tabs, the content disappears.
This problem does not occur when using the HTML mode, only in visual.

Hi,
I am using the Sahifa theme and I can’t translate the slider with this plugin. I am using codes like <!–:en–>english text<!–:–><!–:zh–>chinese text<!–:–> or [:en]English Text[:zh]Chinese text
But the slider just display the text as the code looks like. All other pages, categories, posts etc. is translated without any problems.
Any suggestions how to solve this?
Thank you so much!
Hi!
I’ve been having some trouble with this plugin, I hope somebody is able to help. Here are the details, thanks in advance:
Whenever I create a new page, edit an old one or anything that has to be with any content of the website, an “undefined” string is prepended to anything I edit, title, page content, post content, page title, anything. If I try to remove it, it ignores me and keep stacking over and over, being sometimes something like:
undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined<My_content>
First thing I tried is to set up a fresh WordPress installation with 4.1.1 and installed just this plugin. Everything worked as expected. Now, thinking it was a matter of compatibility issues with other plugins, I went to my site, deactivated all plugins and left only qTranlate Plus and was still doing that.
I’m not sure where is this coming from, but I’m guessing it could be fixed with some regex that I don’t know where lives. If you happen to have some information to help me, it would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
EDIT:
I forgot, if I do a “Quick Edit”, here you can see the output:
undefinedundefinedConsultas terapéuticasundefinedConsultas terapéuticasConsultas terapéuticas
Hi, Lovely plugin. I’m about to use it for a GB/ES site.
I’ve had a look at the hreflang meta info that gets included in each page, and I believe that an addition / fix needs to be made.
I have two languages, English (https://mydomain/) and Spanish (https://mydomain/es/).
When viewing an English that has a Spanish transation I see this meta tag:

According to Google guidelines “If you have multiple language versions of a URL, each language page must identify all language versions, including itself.” so I think qTranslate’s output should be this:

Would you agree, and do you think this should be implemented in a future version?

Hello,
is there any safe and easy way to migrate from qTranslate to qTranslate plus without any content changes? Only thing I use now are functions like

Hi WordPress community,
I have Qtranslate plus setup and working on WordPress 4.1.1 – I’m using it for a English [EN] and Welsh [CY] website
As Welsh [CY] wasn’t installed by default, I created a custom language via the “Add Language” using these details:
Language Code: cy
Flag: cy.png (which I’ve replaced, this flag wasn’t the welsh dragon?)
Name: Welsh
Locale: ??? This is whats confusing me…. (added “cy” so the system would except it)
Date Format: %A %B %e%q, %Y
Time Format: %I:%M %p
I noticed when playing with the plugin, if I have Chinese active, it updates the backend text – I’m assuming thats what the Locale does???
Could anyone give me a hand adding the Welsh Locale – I already have both the wp-4.0.x-cy.mo and wp-4.0.x-cy.po files from https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp/4.0.x
Thanks
hey! I’m trying to translate my website but I can’t translate the text of the home page. In all the posts and pages is easy but the way to write in the homepage is through the epanel of my theme options (Modest theme options) there I only have one option, so I fear that I only can write in one language
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
