While implementing Quantcast Choice (using plugin v2.0.8) on our WordPress site I noticed that the plugin is loading most parts async. In particular, the code which creates the window.__tcfapi stub appears to be async and therefore not available for immediate use.
From the v2.0 spec:
The stub code must be loaded and executed synchronously before any other scripts that depend on the?
__tcfapi
?function to be there – this usually means between the?<head></head>
?tags of the HTML document – in order to ensure that it can be executed before all calls from third parties.
That was somewhat of a pain point versus using the Quantcast Universal Tag directly, since it provides the window.__tcfapi stub immediately. Given that Google will look at script load for immediate availability of window.__tcfapi (when window[‘gtag_enable_tcf_support’] = true) and ignore TCF when it doesn’t find it.

I use WP Super Cache in my sites, and have one problem, whenever i trash the cache, the Quantcast popup is displayed again and this is annoying for the visitor who has to always accept whenever I clear the cache when I make changes to the site in a short space of days or even hours.
I wonder if it has how to put as cache exeption the plugin of Quantcast Choice or script.

I’ve seen some sites that show the Quantcast pop-up and it only takes a litte less of half the screen on mobile, so I know it’s possible, but how?
I think a solution for this issue would be very helpful, because it would significantly reduce the visitor’s bounce rate.

Hello there.
I’ve been trying to optimize my web page for Cumulative Layout Shift for weeks now, and couldn’t figure what’s causing part of my page to move during load, until, by accident, I didn’t turn off Quantcast Choice plugin.
I’ve used Lighthouse, and I’ve used PageSpeed by Google, GTMetrix also, to inspect and confirm this.
With plugin switched off, Cumulative Layout Shift 0.005 PageSpeed, 0.02 GTMetrix
With plugin switched on, CLS for mobile goes to 0.131 PS and 1.32 GTM
This shift is visible, and it’s happening between header and main content.
It is not noticeable with high speed internet, but when I used Google Chrome network throttling, I could visually see what is happening.
Can you please take a look?

The CMP didn’t load and in the console we got an error: SecurityError: the operation is insecure.
Because the CMP not loading, no ads appear on the site.

I put the code inside the header but I think I did it wrong.

Been looking everywhere to try diagnose this issue and I still cannot figure out what is wrong. I believe this is a plugin issue or with GTM. But I have gone in to GTM to make sure all my Tags and variables are fine, and I have reset the triggers to ‘9999’, so they don’t fire before consent has been sent.
I have tried this in different browsers and incognito and I am not sure what the issue is for it to keep giving me a warning in Adsense and Admanager with my TC string. No personalised ads are being fired on to the site
