To anyone struggling with making the plugin work with the latest PHP versions (8.0, 8.1), an experienced WordPress developer forked the code of the plugin and updated it!
Link: https://github.com/gonzomir/quiz
I personally tested it and yes, it works with PHP 8.0! Before I installed this updated version, the plugin worked OK on PHP 7.4, then (when I needed to upgrade to PHP 8.0 and latest WordPress) the plugin stopped working with a fatal error — which made my entire WP-Admin unusable! — and now the plugin works perfectly fine!
Until the original plugin authors decide to update Quiz, my advice is — download the updated version. Hope this helps! ??
]]>Hello there,
this plugin is very nice, but it’s not working anymore (PHP7 etc.).
I am willing to pay for an update to make it fit with php7xx and wordpress.
Is there any chances for updating this plugin?
Thank you ??

]]>For the last few days, the questions are no longer appearing on my blog, meaning that people can no longer post comments – the error appears saying they need to answer the question, but it’s not there! (my blog: 5against4.com)
i’ve tried in all browsers, cleared the cache, etc, and it’s the same situation.
Has something broken with the latest update? For the time being i’ve had to disable the plug-in, but i really like Quiz, so i hope it can be fixed!
thanks!
]]>I pretty much loathe all automatic comment moderation and sites which push for registration in order to comment. A quiz is easier to read, could actually be something related to your niche/ site and no one has to give away their privacy/ set up an account.
I wish this quiz option extended to user login and registrations on WordPress. I was using a mailing list which worked with the users registering on my site. This was a huge aggravation because I could not pick out the 1% of legitimate registrations versus bots and idiots who wanted to leave spam.
Also wish this was a feature in the megashark aka Jetpack. It would likely get better developed, or at least get more attention there.

It would be nice as would actions there
]]>Hi how to add a contact form refers quiz to what is in Jetpack ?
]]>Hi,
Thanks for the nice plugin! How do I move the quiz right below the comment textarea but before the submit button? Just looks a little weird with the quiz before the logged in message.
]]>I have been using the Quiz plugin for some time and it seemed to be working perfectly fine until the other day i noticed my submit button was no longer working. After deactivating the plugin the submit button began to work again.
Has anybody else experienced this issue? And if so does anybody know of any solutions or possibly alternative plugins?
Any help will be very much appreciated.
Cheers
]]>I’d like to use it on my multisite as well.
Does it add new tables to the database?
]]>It’s a good plugin. I say cute because you can add whatever question you want. That’s cute.
The only suggestion I have for future development is to add an option for any registered member to not have to answer the question. And to remove the question field for logged in users. I think it’s confusing for registered users to have the field.
Just a thought.
]]>I was wondering if there was a short code for this? It’s only showing on the most recent post and I don’t have enough control over HOW it’s showing up on the post page vs the single post page. I tried to wrap it all in a div tag in the options, but to no avail. I need it on all comment forms…
]]>Hi there, this plugin perfectly matches my need for a comment security. One issue I’m having, however, is in the formatting. On my post page the plugin appears where i place it, but on my single post page, it’s being place in this “right” class. I cannot, for the love, get it out. Any suggestions?
]]>i am not able to edit my quizzin plug in and when i write a question font not displaying and when i select its showing and there no option of update in my plug in editor and font options not there in when i create aquestion in manage quiz
]]>Hi,
I manually placed the quiz (Version 1.2, By Andy Skelton, Stephen Rider & Mark Jaquith) in my comments form by using do_action(‘comment_quiz’) in the comments.php file.
The quiz question appeared at the top of my comments page (rather than below the ‘Submit Comment’ box itself)
Here is a screenshot: Pic
Now I can’t get rid of it. At All! I can’t find the “do_action(‘comment_quiz’)” in my comments.php file to remove it. I’m completely stuck.
Any idea where it could have gone?
Thanks,
Elliot Rose
]]>I’m looking for a True / False Quiz plugin that gives the quiz taker immediate feedback when they click T / F.
ie. is displays:
1) The Sky is Blue.
T
F
Then if they click T it immediate displays/reveals hidden text that says “Yes the sky is blue”. If the click F it reveals text that says “No moron the sky IS blue”… I’m also wondering if this could just be done with HTML in a page/post?
Thanks
