I use grid as news blog, and can you help to make it to force the same height and width of all new items in grid, becuase now if i dont prepare the same x and y of picture it look like stairs. So if there is a way to force same width and height of all items in grid?

I have tried many times to create a rays grid, and though I get no error message when saving, it doesn’t create anything.

That is a shame because after hours of searching, I thought I had found exactly what I had been looking for (a free grid plugin working with custom post types and with a filter list).

Thanks a lot for the plugin. It looks promising, but unfortunately doesn’t work as expected for me.
Filtering works good, but no matter which skin I choose, the behavior is always the same – for each element, the name is written at the bottom, and on hover, the entire area of the element is simply shaded, that is, you cannot follow the link or enlarge the image.
I thought it might be some kind of script conflict, and I tried disabling other plugins and changing themes, but it doesn’t help.

By the way, infinite scroll doesn’t work too, but this problem persist even in your demo, as you can see by yourself: https://www.it-rays.org/raysgrid/infinite-scroll/

I have WordPress 5.2.4. My theme is Creattica.

I just installed RAYS Grid

I have a problem with my LOAD MORE BUTTON; if you click on it, it doesn’t load the new posts, the stay the same…and after clicking on it 2 or 3 times the button disappears.

Everything else works perfectly.

Do you have a solution? I tried everything!

Hi all!

My previous developer added RAYS grid to our site for our recipes page. Tonight I added a new recipe to the “Salads” category. This is the first salad recipe we have, so I had to create the category and then select it in the settings for the recipes grid. When I saved and then viewed the page, all of the categories in the nav filter had duplicated!

I’ve tried everything I can think of to fix it but nothing has worked. I could not locate any help section on the RAYS website.

I am running the most current version of WordPress and use the Mai Lifestyle theme running on the Genesis framework.

Great Plugin!
the function rsgd_summary($max_words) is good, but needs an update:
– all words after an break stick together
– needs a break tag or something else

Many of us like to see the exerpt here not the content itself

I’m having an issue, no matter wich skin i set on the configuration (with the taxonomies on), the result only shows the post categories but the tags don’t show up.

As a suggestion if i may, it would be great to be able to show other info, such as date, author, and maybe set a difference between tags and the post category to choose wich one is shown.

Is there a way to modify one of the files to add this info to the output?

Hi, your plugin is really great, perfect out of the box.
Although there’s plenty on skins and styles, I need to customize it a little to adhere to my site design.

It’s possible to customize or add new styles?
What I need is to have title and other info taken from custom fields (Toolset Types) instead of predefined options.

Would it be possible to include an option to disable the loading of FontAwesome in the next version?

I have a theme that uses FA5 and when I load the plugin (With FA4) it causes all the icons to break. I’ve worked around this for now by commenting out the following line in class-base.php:

wp_enqueue_style( ‘font-awesome’, RSGD_URI . ‘assets/public/css/vendor/font.awesome.css’ );

A toggle in the UI so I wouldn’t have to do this when updating would be… Awesome ??

Would it be possible to make the grey boxes, which appear above the post images when hovering the cursor above it, clickable links to the post they belong to?

Right now only the post title leads to the actual post.

I’ve followed all the procedure to create a ray grid but nothing happens ??

no error, no grid , nothing. the only thing to notice is that at least the shortcode isn’t appearing on the front end.

I’m guessing it’s something to do with the new version of wordpress? i’ve already tried with different themes and nothing. disabled gutenberg, disabled all the other plugins. nothing

any idea?

Thanks for this great plugin. I love it, but I would like to show the filtered portfolio categories in a specific order. We have categories like this:
Graphics, Interior Signs, More, and Outdoor Signs. “More” should be at the end, but I can’t set it that way. Is there any way to order it by SLUG or TAG, but show the NAME on the filter? I am able to edit js or php (but I can’t write it from scratch).

Firstly, the records counter in categories does not recalculate records after adding new posts…

Secondly, the only suitable pattern is Gemini is missing the link to the post from title of the record (I turn off SHOW LINK TO POST and SHOW ZOOM IMAGE)

And the shadow effect when hovering is really annoying, can it be turned off

Thank you for this awesome plugin, i really like it.
But i have a question.
I have disabled “all” tab and only showing the category. But when i visit the link first thing its showing is all. Is it posible that instead of showing all it will automaticly showing 1 category.
So in my case i don’t want to show all when i visit the link but i want to show category Smartphone by default.

Second question, now it is linking to /raygridpost/name
I do like you but when i want to use this as my business page i want to change the /raygridpost/ in something of my own. Is this possible and how do i do that?
